We ordered the platter for two: 4 very thin strips of fish, almost like they took one filet and cut it into strips, 6 fried shrimp, 3 quarter sized hush puppies and the other half of the plate was fries. Don't go when busy. Didn't get our drinks for 45 mins. Took over a hour and a half to get food. Never got anything we asked for the first time. Also... don't pressure people to buy "raffle tickets". Im trying to eat dinner and you ask all 6 people I'm with directly if they want one even. Food was okay but I wouldn't pay that again. This place has bottomless mimosas but no breakfast items on the menu?? They did have a French toast for the daily special, but why is that the only option? Honestly I was going to give 3 stars but the pork belly tacos I had were delicious even if they were my breakfast. Usually like this place but tonight got off work late get there they tell us $5 to walk in the door for some raffle and they are out of everything but chicken and burgers i was honestly ready to try somewhere else but bf said thats fine. I had to ask 3 times if we sat ourselves the hostess couldn't tell me anything we sit down no one came by the lady sitting next to me with her husband told us we had to walk up to the counter to order. None of the 15 teenagers running around together that work there could explain that apparently pay for food $23 for a plain squished flat burnt burger and 2! Chicken tenders!? And if you want alcohol you have to go stand at the bar and wait and wait also how is a beer in a styrofoam cup $6 BUT a premade frozen drink in a tiny coffee styrofoam cup smaller than my hand is $8!? Not worth the two sips it was. Also as soon as we got our food bf asked only 2 chicken tenders girl just said "i'm not the cook and walked off" then 2 min later comes back trying to take our plates "trash" away still eating then another girl comes by and tried to take our trash food 3 more minutes later. I usually look past the young servers but when there is so many and they are just standing around obviously complaining about ppl and having to do their job in front of everyone in there while you are getting crappy service and the last 3 times we have been there service is very lacking they want you to know everything you want to eat and drink as soon as you sit down then won't see them again until food comes out and usually not even your server food can be wrong and can't get anyone to assist or ask questions drink will sit empty the entire meal and have to track someone down just to get a ticket. Came here based off a review from the Mississippi food influencer Kayla Jones. I will go to the positives first. The waitress was very nice and polite. The ambiance was very cool. These things raised the grade. There were several issues though. Apparently there is a very limited lunch menu which they don't advertise that on the website. So several things that I would like to try I couldn't that was on their full menu. That is ok though as since they have only 3 items on the lunch menu besides a couple apps they must do them well right? The catfish was not fried through appropriately. The hamburger steak was a frozen patty and still cold. We also ordered cheese curds and we didn't get them. The waitress did remember about half way through eating our food and we told her that we no longer wanted it and she took it off the bill. Very pleasant interaction with her on that. Everything else that was negative could have been overlooked if the food was good. So much potential for this place but the management of it just fell short. This is our 3rd time here and it has always been fantastic. Yes, the service is slow- but so is everyone else. We've been for dinner, brunch, and a late lunch. On Sundays they have a $20 all you can drink Mimosas that are fabulous! The steak bite's appetizer is unreal good. I am also a huge fan of the chicken and waffles. Kinda crazy place. Very loud. Not a good place for any conversations. Took a bit for us to get drinks. Then once we ordered we ask that the appetizers come out first. Then the meal. Well it all came at once. The Shepherds pie was really good. My husband cat fish and hush puppies were under cooked (couldn't eat) and they don't have coleslaw! My friends salad was all lettuce and they don't have one of the salad dressings on the menu. It is expensive for the service the noise level and quality of the food. We went yesterday and the service was absolutely horrible. The hostess said we could sit outside. Our burgers were burnt and tasted like charcoal and the fries tasted like they have been sitting in old grease for a few days. They were disgusting. Def should've been a free meal. Thought this was a good place to plan a birthday party but bad idea. This is a great place to go if your looking for a fight. Go here only if you're wanting a true bar room experience. If u drink at this establishment and have a great time u will be rewarded by bouncers starting a fight at the door. We went on a Sunday night and it was not extremely busy. We were seated immediately. We both ordered shrimp po boy. It had 8 pieces of shrimp. We also ordered onion rings. Paid $1.00 extra for the onion rings and I only got 4 onion rings that were overcooked. So for $48 we got 8 pieces of shrimp each and a bun and the fixings in it and 8 onion rings between the two of us. Not very tasty either. We went on 5-25-23, they was running a limited menu for Memorial Day weekend. Upon arrival we was seated immediately, no waiting since the place wasn't busy. After that was downhill. it took about 12-15 min for the waitress to come for drink orders and due to the "limited menu", we ordered a side for an appetizer. It took another 15 min give it take a few min for our drinks to come to us. After waiting a bit, my wife asked about our app, the young girl went and brought them out cold....they was sent back and hot ones brought to us and we placed our order. The waitress (young girl) never came back to check on us or provide updates, until we finally flagged her down. We asked her to check on our ticket time and status of our order, she came back and informed us our ticket time was 26 min and still 5 orders in front of us. At that time, I paid for drinks and our "app" and we left. I left this same posting as a comment on their Facebook which they deleted, then left it as a negative review on their page, which they deleted and blocked me.
