I wanted to leave 5 stars... But couldn't I want to start by recognizing the phenomenal staff members who made a positive impact. Brendan at the front desk provided a wonderful check-in experience. Randy in the Mainstays Tavern took VIP-like care of us every time we visited, as did Lexi during our dinner. Jordan out folding all the pool towels. David maybe giving rides via golf cart to beach - very nice and appreciated. I also want to thank staff for the thoughtful birthday note and the "sun and fun" package waiting in our room. Additionally, Debra was incredibly kind when we stopped in for breakfast!! However, I found the digital portal communication to be less than desirable. I had to report a smoking violation at least four times. I also reported guests using the hot tub after hours due to the noise while I was trying to get my family to bed. While I did speak with the front desk night manager, who was apologetic regarding these repeated nuisances, I left feeling that my value as a loyal guest was not fully recognized. I appreciate the high level of service provided by your hospitality team and hope this feedback helps improve the response consistency for future stays. Wish I could give it 3.5 stars. We really wanted direct beach access which was the absolute best…read morepart, especially with the free golf cart rides to get down to the beach. There was just too many things that left us disappointed on our first trip here. There are 2 EV charging spots which was a lifesaver this trip and being a trolley stop was absolutely amazing for getting over the bridge into Clearwater Beach stress free. We saw pictures of a tennis and pickleball court online but those have been demolished and replaced by a grassy area :(. Thankfully sand bay tennis park is less than a mile away and the trolley does stop there. 3 volleyball courts which were great and sunsets 10/10! The Easter Egg hunt was a fun and unexpected treat for the kids :) well organized. I checked in early on the app, knowing it was a holiday weekend and there may not be rooms available early. We were able to pick up wristbands right away but we later found out these were not watched or enforced anywhere. In fact, you do not even need a key to enter the building from the pool/beach. I believe this added to the insane crowding at the pool. Could not find a pool chair at ALL - very stressful and had to set our belongings on the ground in order to swim. They could not keep up with the towels either and by 3-4PM, you could not get one at all. The pool bar had short hours and the line was insanely long every day. The pool bar shared the same line as ordering the food truck food which added to that chaos as well. On Friday the food truck shut down early as well. There was one water dispenser in the lobby but it was always empty. I felt like a bother asking the mainstay tavern for water. The food there was very good and we ordered to go. The gym was amazing 10/10. The beds were AWFUL 0/10 they are on a platform with absolute no give at all - ROCK hard!!! Had to walk across the street to the other Marriott location to get espresso coffee. The extra charges are too much - says $30/night to park but after taxes and fees it is $35 a night and $25 a night for the resort fee which doesn't cover anything but bikes as the trolley is already free. It is $45 to rent 2 chairs and an umbrella at the beach. The resort fee should offset this cost!!!!! The location is amazing but these extra charges are just too much and our stay left a lot to be desired. I also had a fraud charge immediately following paying for parking even though I used the QR code at the front desk and have not used that credit card for any other purchases - I wish this was charged directly through the hotel instead. It is not gated.

I liked the decoration even though it s a Little cluttered and not clean . Very old and deteriorated installations, no outlets to charge phones, holes in the fixtures and patches everywhere. Shower drips water, it took forever to have a decent shower They have a jacuzzi and an organized kitchen. Lots of sunscreen from previous guests if you need to use while you are there. For a short stay it's perfectly fine. They have a security on site - the cat - which is very cute

They called me today and Carol admitted they did not respond to the request because they were not sure they would rent the unit for the advertised price. She then said it was still available for the specified dates and if I held on they could get me the correct price! I declined. FYI the following week the unit is advertised at the same price for which I tried to book. In my opinion seems like a bait and switch tactic! Place had black algae everywhere, place smelled, when brought to Alan Agoado's attention, he came up with excuses, lies and even yelled at me!!! WOW... We also completely thought we were dealing with another company from the beginning that a friend used, who has the same name but unfortunately located further down on Mandalay...what a mistake we made. There are plenty of reputable places around that don't have this lying POS working for them. Not as many guests so the pool wasn't crazy crowded like my last visit. The two bedroom was spacious and had a view of the beach and or pool from all windows. That alone was worth the stay. Furniture and unit was clean and not so plastic. I was on a quiet floor with easy access to the elevator. The Presidential lounge had been renovated, although it looked more set up for meetings than a place to kick back and relax. No beverages or coffee machine, but the outside walkway is a great place to watch the sunset. The pool was clean and maintained. Heated. I enjoy the Dock's dining poolside. Ridiculous drink prices with little alcohol but typical of resorts. My meal was very good the night I came down for dinner. Nate my server was spectacular. Best service I've had at a Wyndham in a while. Attentive. Kind. Funny. Checked on me often and explained the service charge when he brought the bill. The only downside was what all owners complain about. Upon check in, I was somehow signed up for a "tour." I think this is why they offer beer and prosecco when getting your keys . There were all sorts of shenanigans, but the long story short was lies and then a charge on my account I didn't authorize and a frustrating sales pitch that pissed me off and derailed the happiness of my stay. Still, I am glad I gave this a second chance. I'm there again in a one bedroom in a few weeks and not expecting much there considering my last experience with a one bedroom unit, but maybe I'll be surprised.

The innkeepers were very helpful before we arrived, arranging for a late arrival, and provided a warm hospitable respite the entire time we were there. If you are wanting to enjoy the tourist hotspots in the downtown area, this location is perfect on foot or on the free trolley. The Inn offers free parking and there were nights we never had to move our car. A complementary continental breakfast was provided in the morning. The hot coffee and orange juice were welcome, refreshments. The spread also included bagels, pastries, yogurt, and fresh fruit. We won't hesitate to make a reservation and stay here again !
