It has a lovely beach area, two swimming pools, and there are hammocks throughout the property. There are lovely views of the skyway Bridge and all of the boat traffic, which is very nice to see. If one has mobility issues, the resort is still very walkable. And one of the best parts is that it is pet friendly! Janesia at the front desk was wonderful even before I got there, very helpful answering questions prior to my arrival. She even helped me get my luggage to my room! Paradeco is a lovely coffee shop serving very creative coffee and tea drinks, as well as breakfast and lunch items. The Apple chicken salad sandwich was outstanding. And in the refrigerator case, they have these amazing peanut butter protein balls! The swimming pools had stations at each pool with water, as well as dispensers of sunscreen and aloe! They also had floats you could use. There was pool service for beverages too! We will definitely go back!

Never book a stay here, the pictures are misleading and catfishing people is probably the only way they're still in business. If I could rate it zero stars I so would.

Although I didn't love that there was valet for parking, it was a great experience. The guys who worked the valet did a fantastic job. Sometimes there was a wait but very professional. The hotel staff were great also, though I interacted with them minimally, beyond checking in and checking out. My room was great with once exception, my view was the ac units. A bit nosy but what can i do? Clean and comfortable accommodation. The rooftop bar Cane and Barrel was a hit also. I went to the rooftop for a few drinks and it was great. I thought their drinks were a bit pricey without the top shelf liquor loved the space and music. I would stay here again. Though I have some minor complaints my stray was great overall.

No one had a pet friendly restaurant recommendation, just walk that way. The restaurant upstairs is lackluster. It took awhile. The customer next to me had a dirty glass and they just put her drink in a different glass, she gave it is back. She actually asked them if they had a chef, I was doubting ordering food myself and turned down protein on my salad because I had the same thought based on the feel and tone of the establishment. I was given my salad in two little boxes, they aren't prepared for to go orders. No napkins, pepper and salt or silverware. The manager got me a little container of pepper then went back for silverware. I got tired of waiting and grabbed a set from a table. The big deck closes at dusk where the pool is so no relaxing outside. It wasn't opening in the morning either and one of the workers said he had no idea when it opens, it was 7:15am. My room was cozy until the air-conditioner kicked in. It whistles and kept waking us up. I have a video. The shower has a long piece of plastic that blocks water from seeping out and it was loose and I spent way too much time trying to fit it it back on to keep the floor dry. Its 2 blocks everytime my aussie had to go out , no grass or place for them in town or designated by the pet frondly hotel. That was okay until it was 10pm and they had to go. I would probably not stay here again, with or without my pets. That same money will get you an amazing room elsewhere.

A severe sewage smell and hazard was present in the property for the entire 5-night stay. The host acknowledged it and sent a plumber, but the plumber did not resolve it, so the hazard remained active the whole time we were there. Airbnb's own investigation into the issue found the host uncooperative, and Airbnb ultimately covered part of the cost themselves since the host would not engage with their process. After the stay, the host contacted me off-platform by phone to coach specific wording to use in an Airbnb refund request, then later used that same wording to falsely report my honest review as coercion, getting it removed. An Airbnb specialist later investigated and confirmed the review did not violate policy and reinstated it. If you're considering this property, know that a documented health hazard went unresolved for a full stay with vulnerable family members present, and be cautious about any off-platform contact from this host regarding reviews or refunds.

I was not happy with one of the staff members, I did not see her this time. Rene and Joey were absolutely wonderful. Smiles, nothing was a problem, Joel went above and beyond for us. Yes y'all I came from a DUMP of a hotel to here. But I've stayed at the Sirata, Tradewinds, many Hilton and Marriott and Hyatt and Holiday Inns and I'd take this over all. We have a FULL kitchen. Stove, sink, full fridge & a Keurig for those who like that. (I'm a shop local coffee girl...) And y'all it's CLEAN. It doesn't smell. It is CUTE. The front desk staff is FRIENDLY. After I completed my reservation I called to ensure that my kids ages didn't matter, since I had somehow gotten 5/9 as the ages on the reservation and it is in actuality 7/9. Anyway...I didn't know if that would be an issue so I called. The woman on the phone was SUPER friendly and said it did not matter. I also asked if we could wait by the pool until 4pm since that was check in. She told me that if we are in the area she'd be HAPPY to check us in early OR we can wait by the pool (or in it,) while they get our room ready. They were SO accommodating. When we arrived, I had already received a text stating that our room was ready. Check in was a piece of cake. We had an issue and couldn't get our door to unlock but they resolved it IMMEDIATELY and honestly we felt a bit like VIP's because we had almost the full staff here helping us. First night and my only complaint is thaty husband wants it too cold inside and I want it warmer!!! If I NEED to, I'll update with negatives but so far WE love it. Pool towels provided AT the pool, shuffleboard. Swim anytime. Shuffleboard anytime. And the pool is LOVELY as are the lounge chairs. Very comfy. I LOVE that it's right on the intercoastal and RIGHT across the street from the beach. Location is AMAZING. This place is pure Florida vacation bliss.

my wife and i enjoyed are stay.. the place is low budget but clean.. and on the main bus lines…read more.. the managers are very helpfull and will give you everthing you need. and they were amercians... the motel is mid century modern with nice tropical palm trees... we were looking for work..job hunting.. be sure to get a mini efficiecy unit as we did.. we cooked in our room.. and saved money.. this place is hALF the price of the chain motels ,up the highway and we felt iT was worth it being on a budget

The property is well maintained and clean. There are volleyball, tennis, shuffle board, and corn hole courts free for use. Two medium size pools with hot tubs. BBQ areas for those who wants to grill. Plenty of secured indoor parking avoiding the hot sun (your car will thank you for that). Good WiFi connectivity. And of course, the amazing beach in their backyard along with a beach bar serving any drinks you want. If you choose this place, it is a must to reserve a beach view room. Nothing else will justify. My room came with 2 queen beds and a couch with a pull out couch along with a small kitchenette (full-size fridge, stove, dish washer, and kitchen ware). Pretty good size dining room table for eating in. But the biggest disappointment is the bathroom. Alden resort needs to remodel the bathroom. The ware and tare throughout the years are showing bad. Handicap accessible bathroom does not mean just adding a bar and in the wrong place. The staff are respectful, courteous, and provides great service. Overall, my family stay was great and this will always be an option for get away/staycation.

This is to update my original post. Several items in our…read morerented condo needed to be addressed. (broken chairs, refrigerator door, plugs not working, etc...) I sent an email each morning with my concerns. Apparently, the email was NOT read by the "powers that be" and I was using the wrong email address. Therefore, I was not getting a response. I was finally contacted by Amanda, a representative for Plumlee. The items in the condo were not fixed during our stay, but they were able to get the AC working when it went out. Amanda was pleasant and informative.

All three bedrooms in our unit need new beds and were told it was out of there hands and up to the owners. The oven took over an hour to get to temperature and both showers had no water pressure and didn't drain properly. Aside from that the view and location are unbeatable but wish some upgrades would be done.
