The location of this Inn was super close to restaurants and the Harbor(right in front of the Harbor), Sackets Harbor village is lovely also! I would definitely stay there again. Judy was wonderful managing our reservation and warmly greeted us when we arrived. I like the concept of boutique hotels but sometimes find they can be too cramped or stuffy, not the Harbor House Inn. It's intimate but rooms are spacious so you feel like you can breathe. The room was absolutely amazing, farmhouse chic with a splash of coastal aesthetic. The soaking tub was to die for! The bed was very comfy. All the staff were friendly. Our room had a partial view of the lake, was a welcome surprise. The hotel is right in the center of town, perfect walking location to the battlefield, shops and eateries. All we wanted was a night away from the little ones but Harbor House Inn delivered a sweet experience. Highly recommend and will definitely return. It was worth the money spent!

There are plenty of RV parks, but hotels, restaurants and grocery stores are few and far between. Our room at the Marina Inn and Suites was charming and spacious overlooking a field that was utilized as a lacrosse field from 8 am till 8 pm. Towels and hot water were all more than adequate; king bed was comfortable. Down on the first floor is the ice machine and a washer/dryer area. Dryer came in handy since it was raining most of the weekend of our stay. Staff are on duty until 8 pm most days. The building is close to the water and has adequate parking for this building. Out back was a marina and a restaurant which unfortunately had closed due to COVID last year. It was open for two dates, one of which we were staying at the inn and one at the end of the month. The bad news was there was no table availability. We were welcome to check out the bar and sit in the adirondack chairs but weather being what it was, we opted for other entertainment. The restored building next door was now a YMCA which was open for occupants of the Inn. We did not utilize this because unless you walk about a bit, you won't know it's the Y. In this area of buildings that have been restored, is another surprise - a pizza shop. Another review to come. If I go back to Lake Ontario, I am sure that the Inn and Suites will be on our list of places to see and stay at again.

I usually have a hard time sleeping through hotel noises (other visitors, fans turning on and off, elevators, etc...), but none of these things existed. The bed was perfectly comfortable, and the room was stocked with whatever we might need. The decor is dated, but with such a reasonable price (compared to other options) and so much else going for the inn, we'll happily accept some well used furniture and carpets. They happily shared local dinner and ice cream recommendations and somehow kept smiling while cleaning up waffle batter explosions left behind by a swarm of hungry lacrosse kids in the morning. The fitness center was on the smaller side, but it had everything I needed for a solid workout. Overall, this was a comfortable, convenient stay with exceptional customer service. We arrived Thursday, November around 5:00 p.m. and we were supposed to meet a group for dinner. They had no record of our Expedia reservation and said that our reservation had been cancelled. This was not the case as my husband just changed it to add one day at the beginning and taking off one day at the end. After sitting in the lobby for about thirty minutes they let us check in until everything got ironed out with Expedia. The room was nice and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. A couple of things to know before your stay: there aren't complimentary bottled waters in the room, but the front desk is happy to provide them if you ask.
