There's a reason why this place has a 2.3 Star rating as of this writing…read more The company internet sales was super responsive to make the sale but after that, that's where it went off the rails. The lack of communication and lack of internal systems / processes that usually exist in other organizations to make things easier for the customer, do not exist here. I have text and email threads of the redundant asking for information, me having to ping them for a delivery date, etc. From Suzie Stephenson (ISD), Eric Romero, Shane and Zach, the miscommunication or lack of has been seriously disappointing. All I wanted added to the TT was a second battery, an inverter, and backup camera. It took me having to reach out to find out today that the inverter would not make it to their store for 2 more weeks. As of this writing, I sent an email earlier today to cancel my order and requested a refund. Still no response. I've also sent an email to Winnebago to advise them of this retailer's lack of customer service. Maybe this review will prompt them to respond. I should have checked the reviews before doing business with them. I highly recommend going elsewhere. There are plenty of other businesses providing better customer service.

We were camping and had a leaky toilet. Campers Inn of Conway was on our way home, so we called and…read moreexplained the situation to them of a leaky toilet. I had never had to replace the valve before, so I wanted to have Camper's Inn do it for peace of mind. Brandon who was my contact was terrific. He managed to help make sure the situation could not only be fixed, but that included clearing up the fact that I wanted to wait for the repair to be done and not leave the trailer with them. He managed to secure a technician- Russ, who was very customer centered and very proficient at his job. He was wonderful. I would definitely deal with both Russ and Brandon again. Now for the not so good items. The bill and their OVERCHARGING CUSTOMERS. First their labor rate is $169/hour to repair a towable trailer. My auto mechanic who has undergone much deeper and more involved training/certification charges about $115/hr, so $169 is a bit high. Next, was the charge for the part. They charged me $75 for the plastic valve that can be bought for $15. I understand in the auto industry, that OEM parts are a little bit more than aftermarket parts, but usually they are simply 50% more, not 500%. So for a repair that took about 30 minutes I expected to pay about $120 ($80-90 for labor and $20-40 for the part) instead I was given a bill for $275- Outrageous!!!!! For that the 5 stars of customer service and technicians becomes a 2.5 stars due to the price gouging.

From the moment we arrived, Corey and Dan treated us with genuine kindness, compassion, and respect. There was never any pressure to buy anything, and they truly listened to our situation and what we needed. They went above and beyond to help us by giving us a higher trade-in value for our camper, lowering the price of the camper we were purchasing, and even waiving the taxes to make the deal work for our family. Thanks to Corey, our salesman, and Dan, the finance manager, we were able to trade into a camper that is completely paid off. That has lifted such a huge financial burden off our shoulders and given us so much peace of mind during a very stressful season of life. What meant the most to us was how sympathetic, empathetic, and understanding they were throughout the entire process. They didn't make us feel embarrassed about our circumstances; instead, they worked hard to find a solution that truly helped our family. If you're looking for a dealership that genuinely cares about people and not just making a sale, I cannot recommend Camping World of Myrtle Beach enough. Thank you, Corey and Dan, for your honesty, generosity, and exceptional customer service. You made a difficult situation so much easier, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you did for us and our baby girl on the way.

He provided perfect, detailed information that made me feel confident even before I stepped onto the lot. When we arrived, Dan went above and beyond by personally picking us up at the airport. That kind of service is rare these days and truly touched us. The entire process--from the test drive to the detailed walkthrough with the expert technician--was flawless and professional. The owner and the entire staff were so welcoming and kind, making our purchase smooth and stress-free. A special thanks to the "handsome blonde" Dan for his exceptional help! If you're looking for an RV, this is the place to go. We are so happy with our new RV Highly recommended

This review is long overdue, maybe a little more than a month ago that my troubles were solved brilliantly by these people. Like all things in life things fail and this time after we spent the month of August in Western NC we made a list of the things that needed repair to bring the RV to it's original state. Some of the stuff that needed attention was the antenna over the cab that an MB dealer in SC had broken it during wash while servicing the engine and they glued back with JB Weld and of course kept it quiet. When I went to inspect the roof I barely touched it and it came apart. The LP needed a new regulator and the bed was not retracting in the lounge. So in my first visit this year to Howard the first two issues were taken care of but about the bed I was told that the frame got bent and needed a new one. Expensive and complicated process. So I spoke to John and took the RV back to Wilmington in October, him and two other people looked at the mechanism and ordered parts from Canada where LTV is made. John had to get under the bed while the other two people manually made the mechanism work to see where the problem was. Getting under the bed is not an easy task because there is barely room for sliding, not even crawling. Thank you John, you are awesome! The frame wasn't bent and didn't need replacing and now it works just the same as on day one. Just like Yelp has a ROTD I have a Review Of The Year ROTY and this is it 99 Stars to Howard RV Center and the great people that work here I am a Happy Camper, pun intended

They told me that it was returned because the original buyer had a death in the family. Since I got the RV home, the electrical system has been a problem the entire time with the inverter, alternator to charge the battery, and overall battery function being inoperable most of the time I took the van to Blue Compass RV to get work done under the warranty I purchased and they said they needed parts shipped from the manufacturer and had to wait for Jayco to approve. Then when the part finally arrived nearly 2 months after I first took it in, they are telling me there's a problem with the water system and that it had Frese damaged the damaged other parts I have not been able to use the van at all and now face thousands in repairs that they say are not covered under warranty. I am not sure if the problem is Blue Compass or Jayco but avoid the Jayco Terrain/Entegra Launch at all cost. Poor support, poor quality and a financial drain.

Kings Hwy 17)…read more We took our Airstream Interstate Sprinter Van to Blue Compass RV for a few simple repairs that turned into weeks of frustration and neglect. A roof leak was found and they promised to store the van indoors and keep it plugged in -- but when we arrived, the van was completely dead, not plugged in, with mud and mouse droppings inside. The technician admitted they had jumped it earlier but never told anyone. The manager blamed a "bad alternator" and refused to take responsibility or reimburse our mobile mechanic. The mechanic confirmed all batteries and the alternator were fine -- the problem was simple neglect. Total lack of professionalism and accountability. Think twice before trusting them with your RV.
