The walls are a little thin, but that was really our only complaint. Mike was awesome and really made our stay. When Spring Break calls…read more.... You certainly don't ignore it. You definitely don't reject it. And if you just happen to miss the call... You most certainly better call it back! My advice: Just pick up the phone. Well on April 7th, 2026 Spring Break hit me up and told me that Spring Break was definitely on and Huntington Beach was the place to be. Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa enters the chat. ------------------------------------- Being that it was Spring break for the kids, we wanted to give them some much needed rest from school and what better way than a little fun in the sun poolside. So we put our earned Hyatt points to work and took a 3 day escape to H.B. The Parking Sitch: Of course we did our research on the hotel prior to our trip and saw that valet parking was $60 per night!! So my wife did some further research and saw that the Hyatt contracts with the H.B. Beach parking lot which is offsite and is located directly across from the resort for a lesser overnight fee (please note that it is a bit of a walk, so I highly recommended dropping the luggage and your family at the front entrance prior to making your way to the beach parking lot). There is a bridge that connects from the beach parking lot right to the hotel property. The lay of the land: This is a resort style hotel so the place is huge and it literally takes up a whole city block. Of course, there are resort style pools, hot tubs, restaurants, a spa and other resort amenities to make your getaway enjoyable. Things to do: When you are not soaking up the sun poolside or taking a dip into the pool, there are many walkable places down PCH with local eateries, shops and of course the beach! The stay: The rooms were decent, nothing special, but also nothing bad to report. The property itself is very large, we spent most of our time at the pool or chillen in our room. Overall, it was a nice getaway and we always enjoy our stay with Hyatt. So.... What's the plan for Spring Break 2027!?

We also enjoyed lunch, including a gourmet pepperoni pizza that was absolutely delicious. The bartender was incredibly friendly and made some of the best drinks. That evening, we unfortunately couldn't dine on the rooftop because it was reserved for an event, and only standing room was available. Instead, we sat at the bar and enjoyed the shrimp and tacos, which were both amazing. We also had great conversations with some very fun people. You have to try the bartender's famous Abuelita Horchata cocktail, a delicious mix of chocolate and a dash of cinnamon. It was absolutely incredible! We'll definitely be coming back to enjoy the rooftop restaurant next time we'll check there is no event going on!

The staff were super friendly and helpful. They do have complementary dog beds that are huge and comfortable, they also have pack N plays for your little ones and also offer microwaves upon request. They have 2 pools, one with the slides and a beach entry pool. The other with a regular pool and different activities for the whole family to play with (ping pong table, giant chess, giant connect four) we only went to the one with the slide and our kids (ages 2- 10) loved it! We went closer to sundown but the water was warm so it felt nice. They have staff at almost all entrances checking for your wrist band to make sure you're staying there. There's access to the beach from both pools. It's a short walk to the crosswalk and you're there! They also have complementary wagons, beach chairs and you can take the towels with you and just return them when you get back! Makes it so easy to go! They do have a bar at the pool with the slides, we loved everything we got. My pool wrist band ended up getting too tight so I went to the front desk and they cut it off for me and gave me a new one. Again they were super friendly about that and even asked if we needed more water or anything. The cleanliness of the resort was top tier. It was walking distance from restaurants and the pier so we all had a lovely overall experience. Will definitely be back!

From the moment you arrive, you can tell customer service is a top priority. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. A special shout-out to Clay at the front desk! This is the second time he's checked my family and me in, and he is absolutely one of the reasons we keep coming back. He always has the biggest smile, a positive attitude, and goes above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He truly makes you feel like a valued guest instead of just another reservation. Hospitality like his is hard to find these days, and it deserves to be recognized. Yes, we jokingly spent a couple thousand dollars on a one-night stay , but honestly, it was worth every penny because of the experience. The beautiful property, the incredible service, and the way the staff treats you make it feel like a true luxury getaway. Thank you, Clay, and thank you to the entire Pasea team for another amazing stay. We can't wait to come back again!

We had a very disappointing experience at Paséa , and unfortunately, we would not stay here again…read more Our scheduled check-in time was 4:00 PM, but our room was not ready. We waited approximately 40 minutes before we were finally able to get into our room. The hotel initially offered us a $50 credit, and after the continued delay, increased it to $100, which we appreciated. Unfortunately, the problems did not end there. When we finally entered our room, we discovered visible stains on the bedsheets. After waiting 40 minutes just to get into the room, it was extremely disappointing to find that the room had not been properly prepared. We contacted housekeeping and had the sheets replaced. We did not want to change rooms because we had already spent so much time waiting and did not want to go through the entire process again. Then came the most concerning issue. At checkout, we reviewed our folio and discovered a $118.74 charge from Lorea, the hotel's restaurant. We never visited Lorea and never made this purchase. The charge had been posted to our room even though it was not our bill. We had to wait another approximately 40 minutes at checkout while the hotel investigated and confirmed to waived the charge. So during this stay, we spent approximately 80 minutes of our valuable vacation time waiting because of problems caused by the hotel -- 40 minutes waiting for our room at check-in and another 40 minutes dealing with an incorrect restaurant charge at checkout. The location is beautiful, but unfortunately, the service and overall experience did not meet the standard we expected. We left feeling that we spent far too much of our vacation time dealing with problems that should never have happened in the first place. We will not be returning and cannot recommend this hotel based on our experience.

We had a birthday thing to get to so then telling us sorry we had a busy weekend and nothing else and to say it so non carelessly as it's not really that big of a deal is what blew my mind. Then we get into our room and the ac unit is extremely loud with all buttons basically wiped off so you have no clue what you're doing. After we got back in the evening I proceed to get into the bed and the bed collapses! We had to lift the mattress up to find out the bed deal is being held up with a piece of wood! We could not sleep well after that on top of the ac being extremely loud which needed to be turned off since we couldn't sleep and then for it to now be hot. The bathroom has no ventilation so it's extremely hot as well as the shower doors not functioning on one side at all. This was not a good stay what so ever and then when telling them about the bed at check out, again no care what so ever she goes to say oh sorry, that's it, nothing else. Like a bed collapsing is every day business. I highly recommend staying elsewhere especially because one night was not cheap for what you have to deal with.

There's no pool, but you will find a bar inside, a couple lounge areas with TV, a small 24 hour fitness center with water machine, and an outdoor terrace with seating and a few games. Upon arrival, the hotel was very clean and quiet. The front desk staff greeted me and was extremely friendly and fast to service. The elevator was a bit older and slow to operate. I booked a king suite and was able to request a higher level and far from the elevator to avoid constant noise. The rooms were about 360ish sqft and have an interesting, but functional layout. You'll find that it's pretty spacious with a long couch and ottoman, partition desk that separates the "bedroom" from the living area, a spacious and open bathroom that has a frosted glass and wooden sliding door (no lock). There is a TV off to the side of the living room and bedroom but it does pull out and move side to side to accommodate for whichever side of the room you are on. I enjoyed the walkability of the location! You have everything within a 20 min walking distance or a short 1-5 min drive.
