Dr. Yi is a compassionate and thorough practitioner. I was under his care for 2 months for treatment of my back from an auto injury. During my initial appointment, he took an x-ray of my spine and evaluated my spine to note as a baseline so that we could see the improvement over time. By the end of my treatment, my back had improved. He did a mid-way evaluation and then end of treatment evaluation where he recorded the degree of the curvatures of my neck and spine in various positions. He also taught me stretches to continue doing to maintain the health of my neck and back. I would 10/10 recommend him. If there is a wait time, it is less than 5 minutes. I was in an accident that was not my fault and I did not have health insurance at the time. I came to this chiropractor and that was a big mistake on my part. Firstly, a chiropractor is NOT a doctor and cannot prescribe any pain medication. If you are truly hurt this place cannot prescribe you even a tylenol. When you submit your claim to an insurance company and they see that you did not receive services from a doctor they will attempt to discount your claim. Although I was in very real pain, Chris never asked me if I needed a note excusing me from work duties. Due to the back and knee pain I took off two weeks from work but I am self employed so I did not think to request a note. This was also a big haggling point for the insurance company. If you are hurt you need a note even if you work for yourself, a professional would know this and ask you. The "care" from Sunshine Chiropractic consists of about 10 light massage and not much else, for this his fee was several thousands of dollars. I've had a better massage at Nordstrom's for far less money. Every dollar he is overcharging you is taking money from your net settlement. He has one set of prices for insurance and another set of prices for out of pocket clients. (I saw this with my own eyes. For accidents he will just charge your insurance company the deductible which is usually around $3,000 -$4,000) and he has another price list on the front counter (or at least it was there on my last visit where I am sure he did not intend for me to see it). Bottom line, if you are injured in an accident, go to a DOCTOR even if you have to go to an emergency room especially if you are not at fault. You do not learn these things until AFTER you are injured in an accident. This is my opinion based on my experience and I am warning others. Obtain the best, professional care for yourself and in my opinion you will not find it at Sunshine Chiropractic. read more

I came to Sunshine Chiropractic Clinic to ask about what kind of treatments were offered because I had back pain from a car accident. The doctor very vaguely explained that he did chiropractic adjustments and would do additional, different treatments as needed. He then asked me how I heard about him. I mentioned I was actually going to check out the chiropractic practice downstairs but they were closed so I wanted to check out this place. He seemed to take offense that he was second choice or something because he immediately said that if I was related to downstairs, I shouldn't be there. Perhaps the doctor misheard me, but that was so rude. Really? You don't want my business? I feel like if he's being rude to me and I haven't even given him money, he wouldn't be very professional after I have given him money. read more

We don't recommend him to anyone! I don't really like to write bad review about anyone! But! Me and my 13 year old son, feel that people should know about our experience. This week I have called their office and talked to the receptionist and explained to her about my sons sports injury, she offered us to come for consultation. We got to their office, and to our surprise the Chiropractic Dr. Yi did not honor the consultation appointment! We were in the waiting area, he told us to go and have X-Ray without even looking or asking any questions. I've asked him why did not he call me prior? Leaving my work early for this appointment! and the manner of His response was outrages. we give him 0 star. read more

All other reviews are about chiropractic care, but I went there for Zerona laser treatment. I got 6 treatment package through Amazon Local. Since they are a bit far from me, I asked them to make a consultation appt and first treatment at the same time, which they did. Dr. Yi was nice and thorough. I can't say this thing works or not yet. I will write another review when I am done with all 6 treatments. Oh, one thing is the office was cold for me. He turned on 2 infrared heaters, but my feet were still cold. I was involved in a car accident and was referred by my friend to Sunshine Chiropractic clinic. I had neck and back caused by the accident, and Dr. Yi was able to reduce my pain significantly during the course of my treatment. Dr. Yi and his staff were so helpful throughout the entire recovery process, and my neck and back are no longer aggravated from the accident. If you need a chiropractic office, because you were have any back problems, neck problems and etc, I 100% recommend Sunshine Chiropractic. I was going to Dr Yi for a few months since I had some lower back pain. I had never been to a chiropractor before so a little hesitant. He analyzed my back and showed me that I had some curvature. I didn't even know that!! So he worked on me for a while with various apparatus and now my pain is gone! During the process he told me about all my options and showed real concern over my problem. Tried calling to schedule, had to leave a voicemail as no one was there mid day, and no one returned my call. So have to schedule elsewhere.

I came in for a consulation the other day and noticed that there was no one in the front reception area. Maybe everyone was helping patients. This lady walks about of a room and says hello, but she did not speak English very well. I don't mind, she seemed friendly. I met the chiropracter (he was wearing a doctor's coat and we all know that chiropracters are no doctors!). Anyways we talked for a bit about my problem and he showed me a video about back problems and described what is happening to my back with a vertabrae model. Okay fine and dandy so far. What I don't get is his pricing scheme. It seems like it costs a arm and a leg. I have been to several chiropracers in my life and NO ONE charged what this guy is charging. I thought maybe because he has state of the art equipment, but no. Decompression machines, electric therapy, laser therapy, and message tables are all the norm these days. since I gave a birth, I have been suffering for the lower back and hip pain. of course the shoulder pain too. imagine that holding a baby more than 16 hours a day T_T however, this guy, Dr. Chris Yi helped me not only the pain, I am getting much less irritated and depressed. definately recommend this dr~ read more

I'm a pretty active guy and nothing makes me happier than playing sports. So when I hurt my back at work I was concerned that I'd no longer be able to play. But thankfully I went to see Dr. Yi.
