This is a great spot if you're willing to wait in line for a bit. It's a small shop with limited seating, but you can eat at the beach! I had the ham and cheese crepe with added tomatoes. This was a great option for a healthy breakfast or lunch while at the beach. There was a short line upon arrival, not quite yet out the door, but I was in an out with my take out within 10 minutes. The portion was generous and the fruit was fresh and firm. I loved that some crapes come with a side of salad greens, as it was a nice complement to the sweet crêpe. Terrible service, they took about 45 minutes to make two smoothies that I ordered. They ignored my request to add blueberries into my smoothie and forgot whipped cream after they asked me if I wanted it. It was crowded but not crowded enough for 45 minutes to make two smoothies. Then the smoothies were completely half-assed and barely blended. Overall a terrible experience and I hope they do better for future customers. read more

Also I went at 1:30 and they were telling someone they closed at 2. But here on Yelp it still says 4. Worse, they started acting like they wanted to close down at 1:45 and almost wouldn't serve a guy who came in at that time. Really? On my first day walking through the boardwalk area of the beach, I saw this place and immediately said I had to stop through for breakfast before leaving. That was a grand decision. This place also wasn't just limited to crepes --- they had acai bowls, pitaya bowls and waffles too! I made my order for a crepe with egg whites, spinach, tomato, and cheese, and waited patiently for it. There was a bit of a mix-up, but it most certainly wasn't the staff's fault. When an order is done, someone walks out with the food and gives it to the person who hears what it is. They say the order number as well, and if you say it's yours, they give it to you. My acai bowl came out almost immediately, but I found that my crepe was taking an oddly long time. A man did walk out with a crepe that looked like it was mine, and I heard him faintly say a number that either was or wasn't mine. But the woman he was near said it was hers --- and I think she actually left with my crepe. So I told the man and another was made for me, no problem! But, as a result, when her number did come up, they didn't have anyone to give that crepe to. This wasn't a time-consuming situation, and the crepe ultimately turned out amazing in the end. The acai bowl was great too, full of kiwis, mangoes, coconut shavings and bananas. Given how great the food is, I would gladly return to try other things. Lots of their crepes have Nutella as an ingredient, so that's always a win yeah? read more

Service is very slow. Crepes are average. The crepes are very soft and soggy they're not crispy at all. Also, lacks butter in their batter and also pre-cook. Tucked into an outdoor mall in downtown Bethany Beach, Sunshine Crepes should not be missed. The orange juice is freshly squeezed daily and is mandatory! Menu is very extensive ranging from waffles to many variations of crepes. They also offer Acai bowls, which are very good as well. They offer lunch time options as well. I would recommend the Sausage, egg and cheese crepe. It was very flavorful and had more than enough ingredients to fill once appetite. Also I found it to not be too heavy, almost a perfect choice for a late breakfast. Highly recommend that any visit to Bethany Beach include a stop at Sunshine Crepes. Enjoy! read more
