We saw on their menu that they suggested sharing dishes, and with good reason. The plates were massive! My husband and I shared one of their omelets, which came with its own crepe. Decorations and aesthetics were wonderful, this place definitely is nice. We struggled to find parking pulling up to the place, but our group of 4 was quickly sat. The place was very busy, as expected. We started off with some coffee, not much flavour to it, but that's alright. The Potatoes Ariel was this first dish that we had ordered, I was shocked at the lack of flavour despite there being a generous portion of seafood. It definetly needed salt, pepper, ketchup and/or hot sauce which we were trying to ask for but couldn't get the attention of our server for awhile. It was a bit discouraging because usually hot sauce and ketchup would have been offered especially when a dish is commonly known to be less seasoned or condiments are frequently requested with the dish. The Can't Beach That Omelette had a nice flavour with the turkey sausage. The Dirty Banana Royale was a hit. The size is large, mostly made up of whipped cream for the body to look more voluptuous. It's nice for photos, if you're looking for that. Didn't taste much of the caramelized banana butter, but the wilbur chocolate was nice to pair with the bananas and strawberries. The seafood crepe was our winner, the white sauce complimented the large amount of seafood in the crepe, this dish was miles better than the Potatoes Ariel. I would definitely reccomend this place if you like a more clean eat. There is generous amounts of seafood in the dishes that reflect on the pricing of the dishes. I feel that depth of flavour could be worked on, or additional seasonings. I wish I could taste the seafood in the dishes! We haven't been to Bayside Skillet in a few years, and drove all the way from our hotel in Fenwick to get brunch. We sat outside at the bar and Kathleen was our bartender. We ordered strawberry mimosas, and split the seafood omlette and strawberry crepes. We could drink our drinks and look at the view while enjoying our brunch. The omelette was full of huge chunks of shrimp, crab and scallops. The server brought it out on 2 plates because we were sharing. The strawberry crepes were full of ripe, juicy, luscious strawberries. The staff is always so friendly, and they even offered us a piece of birthday cake. Came here on the off season for breakfast with the girls. First of all, the place is so adorable. Pink is my favorite color and the strawberries everywhere were so cute. We were seated immediately and someone came to take our drink order. I got the wake up call (coconut rum, pineapple juice, OJ). The drink was delicious and came with a nice thick slice of orange and a piece of pineapple on the rim. For my meal, I got the potatoes Tara (Pan-fried potatoes with bacon, onions, mushrooms, and topped with melted cheddar). First of all, the potatoes were cooked perfectly. The service can be slow at times though they do get busy during peak season and weekends. Not all servers are polite and patient and some are very unfamiliar with certain dishes and options. I was recently in Ocean City, and I was more than thrilled to find a breakfast spot that serves crepes! It's very kitschy cute from the pink paint on the outside to the internal decor featuring wooden chairs with strawberry cut outs. I also appreciate a place with real linen tablecloths and napkins. I was seated immediately, and my server was there almost a second later. I kept finding it HILARIOUS that every staff person I interacted with made sure to tell me they have NO BREAD, and then overhearing numerous tables around me ask for bread or toast only to have the servers explain yet again that there is no bread. People are dumb - if you read this review, just know there is NO BREAD! lol. I ordered a pineapple mimosa, the hot dutch apple crepes and a side of bacon. So - the pineapple mimosa came in a regular water class, coated with some kind of green sugar rim. While the drink was okay - the sugar rim caused a real problem. As the meal went on, the condensation from the glass melted the sugar and it started running down the glass to the point you couldn't pick it up without getting green sticky hands. It even melted onto the table cloth! So - I didn't even finish it because it was just too complicated. Then my food arrived. And I was pretty disappointed, despite the portion being huge. When I think "hot dutch apple" I'm expecting the consistency of something akin to a pie. The apples should be soft and melt into the crepes. But that's not what happened. These were thick apple slices, barely cooked through - so crispy-ish instead of soft. The texture was very off-putting. The crepes themselves were okay but didn't have a lot of flavor on their own, and since I couldn't really get behind the texture of the apples, everything was just bland. The real star of the entire breakfast was the fresh cream they give you. I could eat a whole plate of that and it was probably the only thing that made the breakfast palatable for me. The other positive - the bacon was very good. Overall, it was okay as an experience, but based on this visit I wouldn't likely return. read more

Food especially the omelet that the server recommended was horrendous, lacked flavor and basic seasoning (salt and pepper). Our experience started well. We were greeted nicely by several people as we walked in. We sat down and never saw our waitress. We finally had to ask someone to find her. She came to the table, was not very friendly and took our order. We ordered 5 things and she left. We quickly got half of our order. We got my husbands spinach and bacon omelette which wasn't seasoned, was overcooked in some spots and had raw egg in other spots. It wasn't our waitress who delivered the food so I told the young man who did that I needed my strawberries and the iced tea that I ordered. A while later, the waitress brought my ice tea, but still didn't bring the strawberries or my husband's water that he had ordered. She came back a bit later with a bowl of strawberries that were uncut and still had the green tops on them. I started cutting the tops off and decided it wasn't worth it and sent them back. Meanwhile, I see bowl after bowl of cut up, ready to eat strawberries pass me. When we ask our waitress about that, she tells me I didn't see those because they don't do them. It was an unfortunate experience all the way around. It really wasn't about the strawberries, it was about the complete lack of customer service. We even tried to talk to the manager about it who tried to make it all about strawberries again.
