    Cinnamon toast brunch

We come here everytime we come down to ocean city because it's just that good. We're early risers, so we're usually there before 9am and there's no wait, but by the time we leave, the lot is always full but it's huge inside and outside so I'm sure the wait wouldn't be too bad. We've also come during the winter months and the food is just as delicious and the people are just as kind. We love the constant coffee refills and we always have more than enough to take home. This time we sat outside and felt the nice breeze from the bay which was perfect the perfect way to start the weekend!

YUPPPP this place is ALWAYS a must when i come to oc. the fruit crepes are unbelievable and gives me 2 full meals everytime. the whipped cream being homemade is the best part of the meal

Decorations and aesthetics were wonderful, this place definitely is nice. We struggled to find parking pulling up to the place, but our group of 4 was quickly sat. The place was very busy, as expected. We started off with some coffee, not much flavour to it, but that's alright. The Potatoes Ariel was this first dish that we had ordered, I was shocked at the lack of flavour despite there being a generous portion of seafood. It definetly needed salt, pepper, ketchup and/or hot sauce which we were trying to ask for but couldn't get the attention of our server for awhile. It was a bit discouraging because usually hot sauce and ketchup would have been offered especially when a dish is commonly known to be less seasoned or condiments are frequently requested with the dish. The Can't Beach That Omelette had a nice flavour with the turkey sausage. The Dirty Banana Royale was a hit. The size is large, mostly made up of whipped cream for the body to look more voluptuous. It's nice for photos, if you're looking for that. Didn't taste much of the caramelized banana butter, but the wilbur chocolate was nice to pair with the bananas and strawberries. The seafood crepe was our winner, the white sauce complimented the large amount of seafood in the crepe, this dish was miles better than the Potatoes Ariel. I would definitely reccomend this place if you like a more clean eat. There is generous amounts of seafood in the dishes that reflect on the pricing of the dishes. I feel that depth of flavour could be worked on, or additional seasonings. I wish I could taste the seafood in the dishes! Service was a bit hard to reach although it is understandable with how busy it gets!

We haven't been to Bayside Skillet in a few years, and drove all the way from our hotel in Fenwick to get brunch. We sat outside at the bar and Kathleen was our bartender. We ordered strawberry mimosas, and split the seafood omlette and strawberry crepes. We could drink our drinks and look at the view while enjoying our brunch. The omelette was full of huge chunks of shrimp, crab and scallops. The server brought it out on 2 plates because we were sharing. The strawberry crepes were full of ripe, juicy, luscious strawberries. The staff is always so friendly, and they even offered us a piece of birthday cake. We declined because we were already sugared up from the crepes but how nice. Bayside did not disappoint and was worth the trip!

The service is efficient and friendly. Great staff. The place is cute and clean. We were seated quickly despite how busy the place was. The food was solid - the omelet needed salt but hot sauce did the trick. We also tried the candied bacon - delicious and I would recommend.

Friendly fast service however got a bacon omelette today and understand maybe a little salty but took like 4-5 bites and couldn't finish it. Told the waitress and she was there's nothing she could do about it. Asked for a manager but stated no one was available. They get very busy. Prices are a bit high but you get a lot of food. Party with my had fruit crepes which was amazing!! Apple, peach,&strawberry. Side of home fries were amazing as well. Wish could have given a better rating but have to be honest. Sitting by the bay was a plus as well....

We got outdoor seating which was nice. Not too noisy in April. You must have their freshly squeezed orange juice and grapefruit juice!!! It is definitely worth the price. Portions are large. The only complaint I have is that they forgot to bring out the crepe that went with my boyfriend's dish.

Amazing service! The omelette was subpar, but the drinks were amazing, and the strawberries and chantilly cream were really good! Went during off season so it wasn't very busy, but I'd definitely revisit. Plenty more options on the menu to explore.

As a foodie, I rate Bayside Skillet the best Breakfast & Brunch restaurant in all of Maryland and all of the seashore costal places. Every dish is done with perfection. The seafood crapes are filled with fresh Crab, shrimp, and scallops in a delicious cream sauce. The fruit crapes are packed with fresh fruit hand selected berries topped with a homemade whipped cream topping. Omelettes are packed with your choice of meats. A must go to place.

Breakfast on a Saturday morning while celebrating Peppies being called to marriage. Usually this place is a total ant hill with everyone scrambling for a seat. They don't do reservations so there's going to be a wait. With us having 8, I expected 20-30min. Our name was called in 4 minutes of waiting. Which may be a modern miracle. Ordered some coffees and morning beverages to start. I ordered the bacon and cheese omelet and Peppies and I shared the Jalapeno home fries. Really liked those - like nachos but a crispy potato coin. Omelet was good and came with a crepe as the sidecar. Inside is very large with seating around the outside as well. Pink exotic colors and decor, loud but not over the top. Come early, expect a wait, and enjoy some good food to start your day.

Came here on the off season for breakfast with the girls. First of all, the place is so adorable. Pink is my favorite color and the strawberries everywhere were so cute. We were seated immediately and someone came to take our drink order. I got the wake up call (coconut rum, pineapple juice, OJ). The drink was delicious and came with a nice thick slice of orange and a piece of pineapple on the rim. For my meal, I got the potatoes Tara (Pan-fried potatoes with bacon, onions, mushrooms, and topped with melted cheddar). First of all, the potatoes were cooked perfectly. It had the perfect amount of bacon, cheese, mushrooms, and onion. The food came out fast and hot. This is probably the best breakfast I've had in years. Bayside skillet will definitely be in my rotation every time I visit OC.

We saw some good ratings and gave this place a shot and we weren't disappointed. We were greeted by a friendly and welcoming staff who helped us make the right selection. As my wife was fasting, she went with a small fruit bowl, my son chose shortstack pancakes, and I tried the veggie hash. The fruit bowl was decorated well and had plenty of variety. From blueberries, strawberries, kiwi, watermelons, apples, bananas, and others, all the fruits were fresh and perfectly ripe. The pancakes were very large and just one would have been more than enough for two people it seems but they even added berries for my son on them. The veggie hash had lots of potential. It was cooked well, however, lacked seasoning. It seemed slightly bland and I had to utilize ketchup to give it some identity. However, the quality and variety of veggies inside was great. Overall, I am giving four stars due to the fact that the prices are high, but the service and quality are worth it; especially for such a close location to the boardwalk.

We were set on getting the salmon and the swordfish dishes which we did, and it did not disappoint! They were the most delicious dishes I had experienced in a long time. I asked about the seasoning on the salmon and the waitress, who was fabulous, said it was Moroccan. I loved the hint of cinnamon but according to the Moroccan spice I looked at on the web, it is a combination of numerous spices which amounts to a delicious combination of flavors. Both dishes were paired perfectly with their sides and sauces. I have never left a review about a restaurant before. This will be one of my few unforgettable meals. If dining inside, bring a sweater. They don't skimp on their air-conditioning. It was a cool night so we ate outside which was nice, but what made it nicer was our wonderful waitress, Fanika(?), who had the most awesome, helpful, outgoing personality that makes a dining experience that much better. And she was right about the coconut espresso martini. It was delicious! She also mentioned that the menus are seasonal so I am looking forward to returning to Hooked when I'm back in OC and trying other meals. I'm hooked!!

When our server, Hattie, asked if we were "together" with the other table, we said no -- by that point we were sitting completely separately with no way to even coordinate with each other. Despite that, she charged us the large party 20% automatic gratuity. Food came out at completely different times for each table (our table finished eating while the other was still waiting on their order), and drinks were brought separately too. When we brought up the large party gratuity given how mismatched the service was, Hattie brushed off everything we said and didn't address any of it. On top of all that, I found white hair in my food... to their credit, they did take it back and replace it without argument. They also only had paper cups, and the water tasted like it came straight from a hose, while the apple juice was watered down. I asked for a water refill twice and never got one. And to top it off, the food had no seasoning at all. Save yourself the trouble, go somewhere else.
