Saturday morning breakfast downtown and happened upon a hole in the wall covered by a tree - the Muze Cafe. Not the biggest spot in town, so I would expect a wait during peak hours, but there is sidewalk seating as well. We ordered drinks - mine a hazelnut iced coffee. It was good - standard fare I can't really complain or compliment other than it's exactly what it should be. For my entree I got the BEC bagel on an everything bagel. The egg and bacon was a nice portion on the bagel - both cooked to a proper execution and with cheese. I really liked this sandwich and would get it again. I liked this place and would recommend it - easy to access off the boardwalk, as well as parking on the street down near the inlet. read more

I was disappointed with my experience. My eggs had way too much pepper, the crepe had way too much yogurt on it, and my BLT came with roasted peppers, which wasn't expected. The place is nice enough that it should be serving food on real plates with glass cups instead of paper plates and plastic cups--it would make the experience feel much better. I would say this place is OK but it's new and has room to grow to be amazing. I went with my husband and son. The staff is extremely friendly. I think the day we went (Sunday) they were a little understaffed. It took almost 15 minutes for someone to come take our drink orders. My husband was not having it and wanted to leave but we occupied ourselves with the fun tic-tac-toe board on the table. I ordered the flight of lattes. They were good but kinda all tasted the same. I also ordered the avocado toast and that was very underwhelming and the toast wasn't really toasted. My husband order a dirty soda which was good and a breakfast burrito. He said it was okay but very small and if he didn't have the salsa on the side it was very bland. My son got a strawberry banana smoothie and that was delicious. I can't speak on the food, but we came and sat down after being told to sit wherever we wanted. We waited for about 15 minutes and finally I thought maybe I misunderstood and we were supposed to order up front. When I went to ask the waitress said, "I'll come. I haven't had time yet." I sat back down and we waited another 15 minutes. That was 30 total and we still hadn't been given a menu. It takes 5 seconds to drop off a couple menus. Husband and I stopped in for breakfast after seeing their posts on FB. It was midweek and not crowded. Waited 10 minutes to even be acknowledged and then another 15 for our coffees and juice. Never did get our order taken. After 30 minutes we put cash on the table for our drinks and left. Obviously, they don't want/need the business.. or simply just don't care. My partner gave it four stars, but I definitely say it was a five star, my food taste amazing. Did not even have time to get pictures because it smelt amazing and looks so yummy. Frankly terrible. Sat down and were one of maybe 8 tables. Probably over 10 minutes before we were greeted. Ordered immediately. It took about 20 minutes to get water. Food took another 20 minutes or so. Our food arrived and my breakfast sandwich seemed to be made with quality ingredients but 13 dollars for a breakfast sandwich??? The women at my table shared a crepe. What came out looked as much like a drunken noodle as a pancake. It was filled with what I can only describe as a pathetic portion of vegetables. I'm not sure what to say it tasted like but kinda like nothing. Dough was also a bit undercooked. The women splitting the crepe opted not to even finish it. I am willing to assume this trip was an exception. The waitress was kind and apologetic. It was like people didn't show up for work or something. I assume that having to cradle a baby while making drinks behind the bar isn't normal protocol. I will say it was a nice place to maybe sit and have a drink. The place is situated in a cute little tucked away space. My husband and I visit Ocean City every year and enjoy breakfast on the Boardwalk. We tried last year and we were very disappointed by the avocado toast but we thought we'd give it another try. I don't know how a breakfast place can screw up scrambled eggs. They were dry and cold as well as the hash browns. We were given mayo instead of butter for the toast. Never will we go back!! read more

They were open during Covid with their outdoor seating. Food didn't come as quick as we would've liked but nevertheless the food was good - average. The breakfast we had was at best average. The cheese, in the cheese omelette that I ordered was not even completely melted. The sausage in my wife's omelette was very hard. I was so excited to come here. It looks like a little Havana shop *So cute* They ONLY TAKE CASH......that's ok. I consider myself a friend of the environment (since I've worked for an environmental sound company first the last 10 years.) I really dislike they only have takeout cups (refills) and water (no refills) So as we were waiting to order...we hear some one coughing without covering their mouth and hawks a luggie?! But wait you're in the food prep area!!! I threw up in my mouth *swear I did* I pull the nice waitress and ask her who were the 2 men in the prep area?! All of what we ordered was very delicious! He got a blueberry/banana and Nutella crepe and I got the sweet bagel with cream cheese, strawberries and honey. We were both also happy with the coffee we ordered (caramel latte and iced coffee). It's a very cute little spot to grab coffee and something yummy for breakfast. Cute quiet cafe off the boardwalk. Delicious food and good prices! They were able to customize a breakfast sandwich for dietary restrictions and had alternative milk options. The Nutella crepe was the best I've ever had! Coffee was pretty good as well! Definitely recommend for a breakfast/brunch if you're looking for a less greasy/healthier option. The service was great and the owner made it a point of addressing us and our meal to make sure we were taken care of. Everything we ordered was delicious (BLT, Omelet, Waffles, coffee).
