They unfortunately ran out of croissants but we had the option to choose toast... honestly that made for a solid breakfast sandwich! The portion was massive and it was delicious! Been coming here for a few years and always had a good experience. I tried to call ahead this morning and the number was not available. I ordered through Grubhub, and when I arrived they said they didn't have a record of my order. After telling the owner, Larry, that I ordered through Grubhub he got flustered and said he didn't have a record of it and "didn't know what [I] wanted [him] to do about it." I have tried to order in the app before and not realized it didn't complete, so I offered to check my account to verify I ordered and paid and was in the right place. He walked off and I was able to pull up on my app and show I had ordered and paid and the person at the register confirmed I was in the right place. She called Larry back to resolve the issue and I showed my phone screen again. He repeated that he couldn't do anything about it because he didn't have evidence of the order. I felt really uncomfortable in the situation and he seemed annoyed at having to engage with me. I said, "if I'm bothering you man, don't worry about it." He waffled between finishing another order and our conversation, repeating that he couldn't see my order. I still had my phone up and said he "didn't want to see that anymore." I put my phone away, and he landed on offering to make me a sausage egg and cheese. I didn't want sausage, so I tried to ask for just an egg and cheese sandwich. He cut me of before I could and said he'd just cancel the order and refund me. I said "sounds great, thanks." really sarcastically because this whole interaction was terrible and honestly upsetting. I left not understanding how Larry was able to refund my order if there was no record of it. Really shocked that by saying less than 20 words I could offend an owner so quickly when I am a repeat customer who is happy to give my money to a local family and not a chain. I guess we all have really bad moments and I understand being overwhelmed in running a busy restaurant. Sad that I wasn't given a chance to wait or compromise in order to patron a place I look forward to when visiting. read more

I liked the atmosphere of this place a lot but when i went to order sadly they were out of açaí so instead they offered me the bowl just without the açaí. I also tried the oreo frappe which was okay, definitely different from a regular frappe texture.. had a good taste but i didn't notice any coffee taste when drinking it. Great little shop right on the boardwalk! The owner is awesome very friendly and helpful. The shop is small but the staff is awesome. The food is amazing and huge portions! My wife got the honey wheat club and it was the size of a small island! "Enough to feed three people " she said! The coffee was pretty good too. I had the sausage egg and cheese croissant. read more

Wow! Found this little gem and made sure to visit twice during our stay. Great breakfast food - fast, fresh, deciduous, and cheap. Absolutely loved my first experience here at Talbot St Cafe. Charlene, the owner was the most hospitable, hilarious, and all around greatest woman in Ocean City. I ordered a delicious vanilla latte and yummy hot cocoa that Larry made. So grateful to have found this gem of a cafe especially on the rainy Saturday I was in town for. (No hate to Pablo's bowls, they're also very good; but if you're balling on a budget and want more for your $, definitely get an açaí bowl here.
