I had a very positive experience here not only was the reflexology some of the best Inhabe had, (I happen to travel for a living so I've been to many places that do reflexology) but they were also very friendly and the accommodations were quite comfortable. My only complaint was I wish I'd found it sooner - because I would've been coming here for the past four months, Just the right amount of pressure, it was a combination of rigorous, invigorating and very relaxing I felt much better afterward!!! My reflexologist was an older man, he was nice, respectful and strong, he coughed a couple of times - so what - I saw an earlier review complaining about that - he is human - it did not bother me nor was it excessive. My sister and I were in need of some massage therapy to get rid of those nasty shoulder knots that tend to pile up with hours of computer work. We were staying in Guerneville and this place is easily less than half the price of those upscale mediocre massage places in the resort areas. We drove an hour for the massage but it was worth it! We both got massages basically for the price of 1! I booked a 90-minute combo massage for us both, on a Friday for a Saturday appointment. The place is no frills, but clean and the rooms are semi-private. Regardless, the surroundings and the traffic noise and unfortunate timing with construction were a little distracting, but the masseuse I had was fantastic. She worked my knots into submission, did a great job of listening to where I needed more pressure and was thorough. I got a 30 min. foot massage with a full 60 minute body massage that started with a calming facial massage. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definitely stop by here, maybe before heading to the nearby breweries like Lagunitas! read more

I read the other reviews and I have to say they're bogus. My experience was less then professional. Much less. I called and scheduled an appointment on a Friday midday. I went into this place and my first thought was to turn around and leave. But no, I stayed. The man that gave me my massage kept burping. At first I thought no biggie everyone burps now and then. But they continued throughout the massage. It was awful. I got the pleasure of smelling this mans lunch second hand. He didn't say excuse me either! I figure he must have some digestive issues! There was no soothing spa music and the place smells oddly of cafeteria food and a child's nursery. So lesson learned, listen to my gut instinct, or that little voice in my head. Ben who gave me my massage had very strong and skilled hands. He did an amazing job loosening those terribly tight muscles out from under my shoulder blades. I am stunned that this place has 4 stars. My husband and I decided to go in for a relaxing massage on our anniversary. The man up front was friendly enough, and the place seemed to be clean. The man worked on me and the foot massage was ok. He was kind of rough and never once during the hour long massage was I able to relax. I like a strong massage, but strong using good technique is different than just strong and uncomfortable. I also experienced an hour of his indigestion, as he tried to hide his constant burping... BUT where this place really gets one star is with my husband's experience. My hubby doesn't really like his feet rubbed as he's super ticklish, so he opted for a back massage. He was in a separate room, totally understandable... Now this is where it gets WEIRD. My husband was asked to take off his clothes and lay down.. Pretty standard at a massage parlor. But when the lady came back in, she proceeded to actually TAKE HIS BOXERS OFF!!! WHO DOES THAT?!! He was uncomfortable but decided to shrug it off and get his back rubbed as planned. She oiled him up and began rubbing his back, getting closer and closer to his butt. There was one point where she ran her hands over his butt, pulling his cheeks apart and getting close to his manly goods. He later told me he felt pretty violated. If this was me with a man masseuse, I would feel like I was just sexually violated for sure. Luckily we have a good sense of humor and were able to laugh it off as a super strange experience, but after a few days of sitting on it, I realized that it was a definite violation of my husbands personal space. Oh and to top it off with a cherry, as I was tipping $10 for the $70 charge (what I thought was fair because the experience was just ok), the man told me "no no no, that should be $15 - $5 for me and $10 for her." IT'S A TIP!!! You don't tell your customers how much to tip!!!!! Unreal. Crazy place, crazy experience.. Crazy way to spend our anniversary. Definitely one for the books. read more

I have had my feet done several times at this place & it has been very relaxing. My last treatment was with a new guy (they dont speak english) he was very rough and kept slapping my feet (I usually relax during the foot portion not this time) then on my back he was slapping me. the lady next to him gave a very gentle treatment to my friend. the had a power problem this day so the room was very cold, no lights, no heater. At the end I felt like I had been beaten up. No use giving feedback as they dont understand english. read more

Worst massage ever. During, my massage the man who was doing it was aggressive and rough. It hurt more than anything. I felt like he was going to actually break bones, especially in my ankle. He was trying to twist my ankle to massage. Owner makes you give a tip and when I gave him $5 he got upset. I will never go back. I don't think the owner knows how to give massages. read more

Their service used to be much better than it is now. The last couple times I've gone there is just one man working there and he makes strange body sounds. He is coughing and making strange noises the entire time. It is not a relaxing massage at all. It is more like torture but not in a good way. I have been here many times for a massage with Lily. She is very good at getting rid of aches and pains. Though the name implies only foot massage, she can help if you have pain in your neck, back, shoulders, and so on. All around great massage, not just feet. After a week of terrible muscle pain, a coworker recommended my hubby go here for a massage. WOW. After the $25 one hour foot massage (which also included neck and back) he came out a new man. I could tell just from the way he walked that he was able to move so much more than he had all week. He said it felt rough, but really good on his sore back. He's doing so much better now than he was on the useless medication the doctor gave him. So glad we tried it! He'll definitely be going back. It's definitely a deep massage and I don't think I'd like it, but if that's what you're looking for, this is the place. I wanted to try a new reflexology place and decided to try this place out. The gentleman who helped my friend and I into a room was nice and gave me my massage and a lady did my friends. The guy doing my body did well at the actual massage but I couldn't relax. He answered the phone 2X as well as he kept burping/gurping under his breath. It didn't stink, thank god but it was very unnerving cause I was seriously thinking he might spit up a little. My friend even said that guy had some serious indigestion. The masseuse obviously had no training and actually wore floppy, big gloves while massaging my feet. I didn't leave a tip and they got angry. I was in desperate straights when I came through their doors. One week in bed with excruciating sciatica pain. I was assurd that Coco had the power in her hands, but know few are really able to live up to that. I do not think I have ever had as powerful and responsive a masseuse. Coco systematically worked my cycler's nearly stone muscles, one by one. It was as if I could experience the weave of the layers of muscles relax, and she intuitively moved on as that was the case for each one. I have been dealing with physical complications for a long time, but never been in the hands of a masseuse who was as adept, intuitive, and responsive to what I asked for in the minute to minute process. Another sweet addition: rather than those questionable, perhaps disease filled foot tubs, they tote in an individual barrel lined in plastic for your foot soak. The warmth and can do service attitude is reflected in everything about this place and it's personnel. I am sure they each have their winning ways, but Coco was perfect for me. I read all of the wonderful reviews and for the price I was very excited to visit from out of town. My husband and I had a back/foot massage for 25 dollars each. First off, our room was right next to the door, so we could hear people coming and going, but I tried my best to ignore that. However, when my husbands massage therapist had his phone go off after five minutes, it was hard to relax after that! My therapist did a great job getting out all of the knots in my foot and my back. Unfortunately I had to look over during the massage because my husband who's therapist was much older kept chopping at him(which I understand is a technique) but it was very loud, and he did not find it relaxing. In fact, I'm taking two of my best friends in a few days to experience it too! I went to it by mistake... was looking for another place, but did try this one as the cost for a one hour reflexology treatment is SO affordable! I've never been able to say that something helped me so much physically, but this place certainly did the trick!!!
