Today, he came out again for some areas I had concern and again, not termite damage. He told me where it came from and what to watch out for in the future. Professional and efficient, the two installers were in and out in 2 afternoons. Added spray cellulose insulation to attic and exterior walls. The house has wood siding in front and stucco on remaining three sides. They were the only one willing to drill hole through the exterior wood siding in front and patch. They also paint if owner provides the paint. The other two contractors said they had to drill holes from inside the house (oh no, we had just patched out walls after the electrical work). So far looks like house is staying cooler in warm afternoons. We shall see this winter!

I had my external walls insulated and they used cellulose to fill making 1.5 inch holes between the studs. Then they use a cork foam type backing to put in the holes as a vapor barrier and close it with stucco patch. Then comes the texture followed by primer. And if you provide them your matching paint they will color the patches too. They are nice and simple folks and easy to work with. Thanks I wonder why I waited so long to insulate the walls as the difference is noticeable and will save energy. They also help with rebates offered by state or federal.

I've had previous help drop by and they totally gave off creepy vibes, but none of that was felt with DWP's crew. Honest hard working people. They are plumbers first and foremost, but also restored the sheer wall, drywall and textured the wall. Dana and his crew were very knowledgeable and freely shared what they knew when asked. He assessed the slow hot water in my kitchen faucet to be the cartridge and offered options of replacing the cartridge (1 hour minimum of his time) or replace the faucet with an upgraded model that would likely take the same amount of his time. He then crawled under my house to take a look at a potential leak under a bathroom that a previous service person had identified. He noted it was an extremely slow leak from using the tub and suggested several options to repair it. As I plan to remodel that bathroom in the near future, I decided not to pursue that repair. However, I did choose to upgrade the kitchen faucet and purchased a Moen faucet at his suggestion (lifetime warranty, very well made). I chose one with a hands-free activation and Dana said it might take a little more than an hour to install. Once I had the faucet, I contacted Dana and he returned personally to install it. He installed it in an hour and offered a few suggestions as far as battery vs. A/C use. The hot water is now flowing perfectly! I was very impressed by Dana's professionalism, efficiency and excellent customer service. I will absolutely use his services going forward for my plumbing needs and recommend him highly.

Jose and his team of four guys are the BEST!!! Hard, conscientious workers who clearly take pride in the quality of their work. Really nice people, too. I could sense right away that Jose might be a good pick, since, as soon as he came over to give me an estimate, he pulled out his ladder, took time to inspect my roof and its shingles, and took measurements. His estimate was very reasonable (even lower than I had anticipated) and listed in great detail all the items to be done. (Lots of times, I've gotten estimates that only said "replace roof" and gave the price estimate.) Jose and his team worked for four days. Usually it was just Jose and one or two of his workers, except for the first day, which was dedicated to removing all the old roofing materials (three layers of shingles, the first being the original cedar shakes); on that demolition day, it was Jose and all four of his workers. Each day, they came early (7-9 a.m.) and left late (usually around 6 p.m.), and meticulously cleaned up everything after the day's work was done. I cannot recommend Jose and his team enough!!! He inspected the roof and gave a very reasonable estimate and did not charge anything extra apart from what was initially quoted and even fixed issues (holes near rafters) identified after the old shingles were removed.
