He said he would upgrade us to a safe room that would only cost "a little more." Maybe it was our faults for not getting a contract before he started working but as I mentioned, we had worked with and trusted Vince for many years. When he handed us a bill for $111k you can imagine how sick we felt. He took advantage of our trust and in the end we lost. Also know that his safes are refurbished from auctions. Some are in great shape, others we're faulty and didn't come a TL-30 rating which makes them impossible to resell. It saddens me that I have to post this but hopefully I can protect other people from being taken advantage of. Vince and his team are good at what they do but he can be careless and negligent. Another example is when we warned him about our new property being on a steep hill and he said "not to worry." Well "not to worry" included me calling triple AAA to get him towed and then renting a skid steer to pull the safes up to our property ourselves. Another occasion Vince was upset with my fiancé because he didn't rent the right fork lift. Usually companies would be responsible for reserving their own capital equipment as we have zero experience in that. (Even after all of that we continued to do business with him because we're understanding and loyal people.) Get everything in writing and make sure you over communicate with him about little changes that happen along the way because a little change might cost you $40-$50k!

His brother and another employee handled the pick up and drop off. They took extra care to make sure nothing would be damaged as that was my fear. He was in a uniform shirt, was friendly, identified himself, and got to work. All locks got adjusted as needed. All locks got lubricated! A couple of minor repairs got done. FANTASTIC! We wanted a couple of special character keys. Those are not carried on the truck. Oh well; James had plain blanks and made our keys. Paid for services rendered, and waved good-bye to james. A few hours later, our doorbell rang. It was a guy in full motocycle protective gear. Big helmut with heavy visor, thick leather jacked, protective pants, boots, and a beautiful motorcycle at the curb! Mototcycle man held out to character keys already cut to work in our new locks! A familiar voice (James) said he knew we were disappointed so he cut these - try them and make sure they work. They do! That's beyond the call of service! Thank you, James, so much! The character keys were special to us because the keys we were getting rid of were character keys. My husband had given them to me over 36 years ago when we bought our house and put in our first locks! Kobi is the best! 2 nights ago we locked the car key in the car and AAA spent 2 hours trying to get…read morein before giving up (and damaging the doors in the process). The next morning I called a couple locksmiths (some of whom I still haven't heard back from), and Kobi said he could come out that morning. I called around 9:30am, he said he could be there between 11-12 and got there at 11am. He opened the car in only a couple minutes and even made me a spare key on the spot. He was super professional, had good communication, reasonable pricing, and even went out of his way to send me an invoice so I could submit it to AAA for reimbursement.
