This is the best nail salon EVER!!!! Honestly. I've been to several in my 34yrs and this is by far my favorite. The staff is just amazing. Always willing to work you in or give you an accurate wait time. Kevin works his magic on my nails and always does an AMAZING job. Tony is my usual request for my pedicure but everyone I've had has done a great job. I use the Dip powder and they have a wide selection of colors and continue to get new ones. They offer free wine, soft drinks, and water. Mimosa in hand while getting pampered on the weekend....yes please! They also give a shoulder massage while your toes dry for a small fee. (I think $1/minute) Do yourself a favor and go visit Sunshine Nails. You won't regret it and I bet it becomes your go-to nail salon. read more

Nails started peeling right after. 2 nails have broke off within a week of getting them done. Not sure what happened this time. Last time Danny did my nails he did an awesome job and no nail or crystal broke off in a whole month. A lady did my nails this last time. Not sure if I will return. read more

I've edited this review because I don't see where to insert my rebuttal. First of all Are you calling me a liar? I knew EXACTLY where I was. I was at the salon on FM529 just west of Hwy6. Second "cracker" is a racial slur towards a white person. I'm a pretty intelligent person and have not lived under a rock. I knew exactly what was going on. I chose a 2 because the tech was good this time. However---- a bit of background first. ---- I had patronized this salon for about 2 years pre COVID. I stopped going because the last time i went in 2019 the tech was discussing with others the meaning of the term "cracker" in part english part asian language. You guessed it. I'm a middle aged white female. Fast forward to this year. In a hurry I went back to this salon for a pedicure. One of the 2 young men just sitting in the last chair started the massage chair. I turned it off. I don't like those chairs and I don't like my upper body moving like that in front of males other than my husband. Half way through the pedicure the young man got up and turned the chair back on and went back to sit with his friend. Were they watching my chest move? This salon ruined their second chance. this was my first time here & now i see why they have so many great reviews. i came around 10:15 am and the vibe was great. i showed them what i wanted and got just that. the pedicures are awesome, awesome. they offer water. the music is great, just an overall great experience. i have finally found exactly what I want in a nail shop. def recommend everyone to try it out. read more

I've been frequenting Sunshine for about 13 years now. I hadn't been in for two months and went today. To my surprise they have a new owner and WOW!!! I can't say enough good things about the new shop. It was very clean and the updated decor looks good. Ty did my nails and they look fabulous! Linda (who I've used for years) worked wonders on my feet. It was by far the best pedicure I've ever had! The entire staff went over and above to make sure my experience was absolutely perfect. This had to be my worst nail experience ever. I came in on new yrs eve at 7pm the only 2 customers in the shop getting serviced. I had a 20 min wait no problem. Then it came to my nails getting done and there it begin. The "manger" chose to do my nails and was unhappy to do so Idk why I've never met her before. During the process she made several mistakes and this was just fitting the nails on with the glue. She put them on and took them off several times before she got it right. Then it was time to cut the nails. I choose the stiletto style. Well again another problem she admittedly said I don't know how to do this and I was passed off to the lady sitting next to her. I moved with no problem thinking it would be better, not! As she started on my nails she found her own problem with the nails that were glued on by the "manger"she starts to pick some off and reapply. That was done now on to cutting which was no better. The nails were uneven some shorter than others and vice versa. After 10mins finally on to the application of the acrylic. Which was poorly done and rushed which ended up on my skin. All done and it's paying time $40 for a full set at this point I just ready to go I didn't get polish or designs just acrylic. Well not even 10 days after getting them done. The work is shown which is poor at best. A nail popped off and 8 others are lifting. I call on Friday to say I would be in on Saturday for them to fix the problem. "Mgr"said no problem. Came in as stated on Saturday and she said come in on tomorrow(Sunday). I did and when I got there guess who wasn't there..... The "manger". Once the other employees come to ask what I needed I told them what I was told they said oh no you have the wrong business that I was mistaken. Really... I kept my wits and told them the day and time I came in plus the persons that did my nails. Finally one calls the "manger" they talk for a bit before the phone is handed to me. Once again they change the story first she says she can only honor to 10 days then after she realizes that it is within that time frame she says a week which would still be covered since I called on Friday. But she still insist that I must pay because its not covered and that I need a refill. She even tried to tell me its my fault i don't know how to take care of my nails which is funny because I've been wearing nails since i was 14 and I'm 37 now and this is the first time I've had an experience like this. I said thank for your time this is your business and you can run it how you like. I will never step foot in this place again even if it was free and my life depended on it. Service was ok. Had to wait over 45 mins to get serviced. Only thing I didn't really like was that the prices weren't known. I asked for rhinestones they had to ask like three people for a price which made me feel like they could possible just creating prices. I was quoted a certain price for my nails and then at checkout found it was more because of the length. I've had some shops charge for length and some that haven't. However if you do, the customer should know. The tech should tell you when you're deciding your length. So in shower prices can be a surprise here. read more

I love this place sooo much I'm super picky about my nails the shape the length and not to mention I'm super indecisive about colors so to say the least I'm a nightmare to any nail technician lol but I love the fact that when I'm not sure about the color they always show me how they look on me to help me pick and when I don't like something they fix it and don't make me feel bad about it. I would definitely recommend Kelly she's super sweet and she does a great job I always leave satisfied! Only thing I would recommend is having a list of prices either on yelp or on google, but other than that 10/10 would recommend! read more

Went and got a man+pedi yesterday and I will be coming back! The staff were all very welcoming and I was offered a drink when I walked in. I had messaged them on facebook the previous two days because I wanted to make sure with them if I was able to get a man/pedi after I got off work at 6 (they close at 7). They were very nice and stayed a few minutes past 7 to finish up my nails. My french pedi was done by Unique which looks amazing! My dark blue gel nails was done by the other lady, I forgot to ask her name. She was very sweet as well. The only thing that prevents me from giving 5 stars is that a few of my nails are cut a bit crooked, which I did not notice while I was there. One of my fingers is also missing some polish on the side. It was not a bad job, but I have had better manicures in the past. I will be coming back to try this place again, though! I have seen beautiful reviews of this place. It could have been that it was the end of the day. I am giving her the benefit of the doubt! I also got a 20% discount on the pedi because it was the Tuesday deal. Overall, my experience was great! read more

I found Sunshine Nails on Yelp, and decided to give them a try since the reviews were so good. The salon overall is small, and a bit dated in terms of the look/decor, but very clean. I received a great manicure and pedicure as well. What I enjoyed most was the service. The nail technicians were all genuinely friendly, and made me feel as though I was a regular there. They did not try to pressure me into purchasing other services which I really appreciate. They offer you the choice of lining the pedicure basin with plastic which was great. I declined to have it as I noticed that they were quite thorough with regard to cleaning them after their clients would leave. Don't recommend. Not a good manicure and they talked in their language the entire time, which is rude. My tech didn't even use the cuticle cream on all of my nails and then did a terrible job of even pushing my cuticles back and trimming them. When I mentioned something to her the talking between the other techs in their language increased. She was annoyed and said she did it already, but if she had I would not have a need to point it out. My nails were rough on the tips and overall bad experience. There are so many other nail salons to try that are excited to have your business. read more

I started going here 3 maybe 4 months ago. Usually I do a shellac mani and pedi until I started here and one lady introduced me to dipping. I loved it she did my nails perfect they wasn't thick but they didn't break and they was also smooth and lasted over a month. Problem is I never seen her again. The next time I went a guy did my nails and he made them to thick and he filed them horribly to where my sides were at an angle. The next time the lady must not have sealed them right because the next day they was peeling at the tips THE NEXT DAY. Then the next time the nail split across on my pinky but it was after a week ok the following time two days after getting my nails done my thumb cracked on the side. Every single one of these times my nails have been lumpy and even multi colored because of the way they dipped them. Last but not least I went today and I have nails that are longer then the others and they are so lumpy it's just unreal every time I go I pay 75 bucks. My nails have been so bad these past two times that my husband questioned me about them. My nails are kept short because I'm a nurse so I don't do strenuous work and I'm always in a rush so I never really say much but I keep seeing such nice pics on IG and I'm like why my nails not coming out like that.
