I honestly can't remember the last time I was able to order breakfast at a restaurant. While visiting Buffalo with my boyfriend in November 2025, his college friend spent the morning taking us to several restaurants trying to find a place where I could safely eat. After striking out everywhere else, Betty's was our last stop--and what a blessing it was! Alice, our host, was warm, friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure my food allergies were handled safely. I was able to order a bacon, "egg" and avocado sandwich made to accommodate my allergies, and it was incredible. I hadn't enjoyed a breakfast sandwich from a restaurant in over a decade! It was so delicious that I went back again before leaving Buffalo and even ordered another sandwich to take home. For anyone living with food allergies, you know how rare it is to find a restaurant that truly understands safe food preparation while still serving amazing food. Chef Nikki, her staff was so Welcoming with huge smiles on their face saying GREAT AND AMAZING when we entered! Truth be told I'm not a vegan, and you know I couldn't tell the difference, it felt good eating clean. I think I've tried everything on her menu since she's been open lol.
