Carry out only at the back entrance into City Hall. Excellent flavor. Portion exceed expectations based on pricing.

We ordered lunch from here and the general consensus is we won't be doing that again. First, the name NY Deli is deceiving. You cannot consider yourself a NY Deli if you don't even offer an assorted sub. Second, NY dell's offer a lot of meat, they definitely don't. Third, we each got different items and all of our food was very bland. The ham and cheese melt was a basic hot ham and cheese sandwich. The chicken shawarma was not a shawarma at all. It was frozen grilled chicken strips wrapped with lettuce and tomatoes. The salad was a decent size, and it's really hard to screw up a salad, but they barely give you enough dressing. I'm glad my first time trying this was for free because I would have been truly disappointed if I spent my money.

    Reuben. Not studdard.

This place recently changed its name. The owner originally owned Katz in NYC, and someone got injured eating a sandwich, and filed a lawsuit. The owner said 'nobody Sues MY Deli" and immediately closed up shop and moved to Buffalo. Then as a nod to their last words as owner of Katz, they opened this deli under the moniker "Sues MY Deli." It was all going swimmingly, until someone filed a trademark infringement lawsuit. Apparently there is already a Sues MY Deli. In New Delhi. So they changed one letter, and now all is well. What to get: Reuben. This came highly recommended by the three Alexs (yes the two Alexs just had a baby Alex. Don't ask me how. I guess they took their lead from Arnold in that movie. Not the "it's not a tumour" movie. The other one.)... and so I gave it a try. The Reuben was exceptional. I could eat this all day. And given that I am a very slow eater, I probably did eat this all day. Nom. (waits 20 mins). Nom. (waits 20 mins). Nom. It's my fave Reuben in town, easily, even above all the other awesome sandwich shops. Try it. Even Alex K loves it. It's juicy and fantastic and was definitely the best thing I tried here. They do close very early (2.30 but often earlier) and so you should get here early if you want to try it. I went there once at 2.15 and another time at 2.20-something, and both times they were surprisingly already closed. And remember. Nobody Sues MY Deli.

Great place for counter service to grab a bite to eat. They've got a good selection and their Reuben sandwich is excellent. Prices are reasonable and there is a small sit down area where you can eat or you can get it to go. This is a favorite work lunch spot for me given the combination of quality, speed, and price.

So many choices, great specials! Made the walk down from Buffalo General Hospital, almost a mile but it beats the hospital cafeteria. I walked in about 10:30 AM and not all the lunch options were available but I was able to get there roast beef special with a salad. The roast beef was on nicely toasted Costanzo roll with Horseradish cream sauce and a side of chips and pickle. For a side I wanted one of their specialty salads but they were not available so I went with the cream of broccoli soup. Quick service, love the fact they have water out near the napkins and utensils. I wished I worked closer this would be a weekly stop!

First time here as we drove through this town and wife's AI search of vegan and gluten free led us here. Upon some studying of the menu wife and I ordered up a storm and the cashier helped us order accordingly to get all the foods we wanted at a lower price point than ordering individually! This man got our back! The food is nothing short of amazing. My chicken and waffle made with oyster mushroom was perfection! Batter was thick but soft. Crunchy yet juicy. Fried but not oily. This dish is a walking contradiction but they walked this fine line and blew this dish out the water! Best chicken and waffles hands down. The drumsticks were the classic with sweet and tangy BBQ sauce with paper thin skin and fibrous underneath. At the end, there's a sugar cane for bone to chew out the sweet "marrow". Highly recommend. My wife loves nachos and theirs were a big hit with impossible meat. I was unfortunate not to have been able to sample it. Jalapeño cornbread? Yes please! I believe it's gluten free and it's just a hint of spicy that builds as you eat more and more of it! H bomb burrito was tasty as well but I did not eat it fresh to do it justice. The dragon fruit lemonade was also refreshing and a fan favorite with the kids. On top of a fantastic meal, the owner and staff were just so welcoming. I had the vegan ribs which was similar to a meatloaf and very tasty, as well as sides of mac and cheese and mashed potatoes both of which were absolutely delicious, and topped off with a tasty hunk of cornbread. My friend got the wings which had a sugarcane "bone" (everything here is vegan!) and were some of the best vegan wings I've ever had, with the only possible competition being the wings at Rochester NY's New Ethic Pizzeria. Do yourself a favor and check this place out! Also wanted to give a shoutout to the bumping soundtrack of Ashanti and other 90s/00s gems that was playing when we visited.

Fast forward to 2025, I've included a photo of a turkey burgundy sandwich with a small bag of Lay's (weird choice, but ok) and a pickle spear, which costs $17.25 before you even add tax or tip. Naturally, we wanted bread (what I thought was a given in an Italian restaurant). Sadly, it was $3 for warm bread, which felt a little rude, but of course I ordered it and devoured it, too! I also started with the mushroom bisque that was on special and it was fantastic as it was rich, flavorful, and the kind of soup you want to eat slowly so it lasts longer. For my entree I chose the Crespelle while my brother got his favorite, the Brasciole. The food was truly the highlight of the evening. Everything was prepared well and very, very satisfying. I would say that the service, unfortunately, left a bit to be desired. Not terrible, but not great. I hate having to ask another server to bring a box, the check, etc. because our server was no where to be found. The restaurant has a very generic modern bar scene vibe with roll up doors and the bar dominating the space. The staff were friendly and promptly directed me to the bar for my take out order, which was mildly delayed. The spaghetti and meatballs were basic. The sauce left much to be desired and a basic jarred sauce is more enjoyable. The shrimp were properly cooked, but the risotto did not shine. The dish lack cohesion and it was as though they cooked rice and tossed it in a flavorless sauce. The accompanying lobster sauce was desperately needed, but underdeveloped. The dish needed significant seasoning improvements.
