We had to accommodate a unique roofline and Eric helped figure it out, though it seems that the materials are best suited for a straight-forward, plug-and-play installation with minimal customization. The pricing was competitive. We opted to have six can lights, a ceiling fan (the fan was provided by us and they installed it), and two outlets installed. After signing the contract, the installation occurred roughly 4-6 weeks out due to their full installation schedule, so plan accordingly and book as soon as you feel comfortable if you know you want to go with them. The installation team (five workers total, led by Jesus) was quick, efficient, and respectful. They installed the cover in one day and left the area clean prior to departing. Here are a couple of minor "issues" we encountered... one post is not completely square/perpendicular to the nearby patio edge, so this is a bit more obvious to see, but not terrible. The covered outlets they installed were standard indoor style. I chose to replace them with GFCI outlets (cost me $40 total at Home Depot) since they are outdoors and one has a fountain plugged into it. I would recommend Paradise Patio Covers to friends and neighbors and would definitely use them again.

First, I must share our patio area presented a major challenge. The existing roofline made it…read moreimpossible to simply extend the patio cover straight across the space. The previous owners had added a structure that left an awkward opening in the cover to accommodate the roofline. Not only was it unattractive, but whenever it rained, water would pour through the opening and onto the patio. The cut-out was really annoying to us. Before contacting Mr. Patio Cover, we had another company come out and spend nearly two hours discussing possible solutions. We were told an engineer would follow up, but unfortunately, we never heard back from them. The following summer, we saw an advertisement for Mr. Patio Cover and decided to give them a call. Sam came out, patiently listened to our concerns, and recommended that Eric, the owner and engineer, personally evaluate our unique roofline situation. We are so glad he did! Eric did not shy away from our very challenging situation. After much brainstorming, he came up with an incredibly smart and creative solution. He recommended modifying the existing roofline by having a roofer cut back the corner and eaves, allowing Mr. Patio Cover to extend the new cover seamlessly across the space without the large opening.The roofer did an excellent job modifying the roofline. It looks so natural that you would think the roof had originally been designed and built that way. It was a solution we had not been able to get from anyone else. The finished patio cover looks beautiful, modern and completely transforms the space. Most importantly, we no longer will have rain pouring through that awkward cut-out! Since completing the project, we have thoroughly enjoyed our patio. We are out there nearly every morning watching the sunrise behind the trees, and when the sun gets too bright, the gorgeous and functional shades allow us to stay out even longer. We absolutely love our new patio space and couldn't be happier with Mr. Patio Cover. They found a creative solution to a difficult problem, delivered beautiful workmanship, and compared to the prior quote of the other company, they did it at a reasonable price.
