I would say traditional waxing for me is a 8 outta 10 whereas this was 6.5 outta 10. McKenna was very thorough throughout the entire process. No sticky residue post wax which is common from other places. I really like the eucalyptus warm towels post wax to smooth the back, nice touch. Place was charming and clean. This was just what I needed, last two studios have been disappointing. Last place major breakout post waxing and other place gave the worst attitude. When I contacted her in November, I was told the infrared sauna was temporarily down and to call back. After that, I never heard from her again. For a long time, the business listed itself as "temporarily closed," and now it appears to be completely out of business with no communication or resolution. This is extremely unprofessional and, in my opinion, misleading. Selling packages and then failing to honor them or provide refunds is not acceptable. I, like others, am now left wondering what happened to the money we paid. I would strongly advise others to be cautious before purchasing packages or prepaying for services here.
