I love Korean Soju, Makgeoli, kimchi, Some cookies, Ramen, and more.... This market is my fave place near my home. That mall has many stores such as bakery, optometry, major Korean bank, restaurants, and korean market, food court. If you go inside market, you will see first ginseng store, gift shop, jewelry store, veggies, fruits, and Ramen, and etc. The fish, seafoods are fresh, the price of veggies are cheaper than other markets. The service is good. I can find the new products and old ones easily, korean liquors, precooked foods, almost everything. I love the reward card, the more you spend, the more you get as a cash. Overall, very convenient to shop, eat here. Well organized. The price is a little cheaper than H Mart.

This Korean/Asian market is a local neighborhood gem. It has almost all the necessities I need if I'm craving a Korean dish or attempting to make a recipe at home, from quality kimchi, tofu, fresh produce, meats, and more. All the aisles and inventory are packed into a small space, so it's a challenge to maneuver sometimes, especially when it gets busy. I shop here during the week for fewer crowds than the weekends or evenings. Prices are reasonable and comparable, if not better than other big-name markets. There's usually plenty of parking, but with other businesses in the plaza, it can also be a waiting game. A few other small businesses are offered inside the market. I haven't had any issues with customer service, cashiers, and other staff doing their jobs with a smile and getting me on my way.

This market is smaller than other Korean markets, but since it is close to my home, I often shop there. However, I have noticed that many of the food items being sold are past their expiration dates, so extra caution is needed when purchasing. For example, I once bought CJ Tong Tong Sausage and a Japanese Redbean Cake, only to discover that both were more than months past their expiration dates. Last week, I purchased an Otokii Snack Cup Noodle, which had already expired on November 19, 2025. It is very frustrating and difficult to understand how food products can be managed so poorly. I suspect that many other items, which should have been discarded, are still being sold. I sincerely hope this market will prioritize customers' health rather than just selling products. If I find another expired item being sold, I will report this matter to the Health Department. Very Concerned,

They have the korean groceries I need and at decent prices. Especially if it's on sale! Customer service is lacking. I know the culture and language barrier may make it seem people are "rude" but that's not the case. Some of the cashiers are not very nice. The baggers are the friendlist workers here. After checking out & completing payment the bagger used ONE more bag than the the cashier charged for, she yelled at him. I offered to pay the extra on my cc (since I didn't have cash) and the lady yelled, no and made the bagger empty out the extra bag and stuff it into a produce bags.

A smaller korean supermarket, it still stocks all the essentials. There are quite a few sales around the store, especially in a lot of the pulmone refrigerated section of prepared noodle foods. It is part of the Hannam Chain of grocery stores. They have a large selection of banchans, and a smaller seafood market with some fresh fish. Came on a weeknight and it was a good experience: not very crowded, stocking had been completed for the day so no big stocking carts making getting through the aisles difficult.

They carry Jayone products! (No MSG, GMO free)

This Korean supermarket is actually a bit out of the way for me - but I'm a regular @the Korean women's sauna across the street, so end up shopping here at least a few times a month. I've mostly been satisfied with their ready-food selections, (even though some daily hot food items increased in price a bit tad too much IMO) and other grocery items. (Such as meats, gochujang and dwenjang, etc. ) I've also purchased a good amount of Pulmuone nengmyun kits during the past summer. This market actually has better deals on certain items compared to other Korean markets in the OC area. Now having said that, there are 2 staff members whom I'd like to give a shoutout to. (But please do note everyone I've met there are all friendly & professional.) 1) The lovely older lady who manages the nengmyun kits area. (Don't know her name regrettably) 2) Mr. Charlie - one of the on-site managers at Super One Mart. They're both great with customers, very friendly, and professional. It's always very nice seeing them. Mr. Charlie even went an extra mile on my recent visit - and provided top notch customer service. ( I was in a bit of a bind while checking out my purchases at the cash register. ) This is a great neighborhood Korean market with nice selections, reasonable prices, some great deals, and a great staff. A pleasure to shop here when I'm nearby. A big thank you to La Palma Super One Mart team! :)

Like a giant seafood market and nothing else, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a variety of items. I think it's Filipino food items primarily? But a lot of really cool products and ingredients that I don't normally see. I stopped by just to pick up some veggies, but ended up leaving with ube condensed milk and a few other random necessities as I was browsing the isles. Their seafood section also does free deep frying for fish! Which haven't done in a really long time and will probably stop by for in the future! Lots of parking, but as it is a shared plaza with a couple of other busy stores, I'm sure it can be a struggle to find a spot on the weekends during peak hours.

Pampanga Bakery has a physical location on Artesia & Norwalk, but also supply some of their fresh pan de sal & more, to Fresh Catch to sell. The produce & meat selection aren't the best, and sometimes I'm wary of the quality control of the packaged meat, but when it comes to fish & seafood, I have no problem selecting what I need. As an Asian supermarket, it fills the need. And, a lucky Lotto millionaire was made here, several years ago. I'll continue to visit for buying live crab & Pampanga Bakery items, and maybe, just maybe, I shall also become a lucky Lotto millionaire.

Absolutely Phenomenal -- One of My Favorite Restaurants!…read more I cannot rave enough about this restaurant! I have been here more than 50 times, and there is a reason I continue to come back. The food, drinks, service, atmosphere, and location are consistently amazing. The food is always fresh and delicious, with a great menu selection and something for everyone. The drinks are fantastic, the ambiance is beautiful, and the staff is friendly, attentive, and provides excellent service. I have recommended this restaurant to several people and have even brought friends and family from out of town here. They loved it so much that they already want to come back! That says everything. After more than 50 visits, I can confidently say this place continues to deliver. Whether you're looking for great food, amazing drinks, a wonderful atmosphere, or just an overall great dining experience, this restaurant checks every box. If you haven't tried this place yet, you are definitely missing out. Give it a try -- I can almost guarantee you'll be back. I know I will!

I came here salivating with such a craving after browsing Yelp for a great place to eat, which I…read moreusually do when I'm searching for something new to try. I came here for seafood, specifically their Oyster Rockefeller, because I haven't had it in decades. It's one of my all-time favorite dishes, along with foie gras, bone marrow, head cheese, suckling pig, and more. I was happily surprised to discover it's located across the street from my favorite studio, Mr. Inkwell's Classic Tattoo & Piercing. I guess I didn't pay close attention when I mapped out directions--a real downside of relying on GPS these days. I remember when I used to memorize streets, locations, and directions every time I visited a new place or traveled. Anyway, I digress. The place is fancy and spacious, with a market out front, divided into three or four sections: the bar stools right in front of the bar, the bar seating area, the main dining space, and an enclosed patio. The employees all looked experienced and mature, like they had been there for more than a decade. The three hostesses at the front were younger. After looking at the menu, I decided to start with their peach puff pastry topped with vanilla bean ice cream. When a dessert catches my eye, I often prefer to indulge in it first because I might be full afterward. It didn't disappoint. I took my time, savoring every bite. The freshly cut peaches had a nice bite, while the puff pastry was crunchy and flaky, with its very tasty cream. The vanilla bean ice cream was simply delightful. After finishing, I didn't want to spoil the high from such an amazing dessert, so I decided to take the oysters home. It's half a dozen. Presentation-wise, they're a bit underwhelming compared to previous ones I've had. And just so you know, I used to work part-time as a server at an upscale American restaurant at the top of a fancy old hotel in Long Beach, at a well-known authentic Italian pizza place in San Diego, at a small Korean bar in Torrance, at a family-owned Filipino restaurant, and at a Japanese fast-food chain, among others. Even with a full-time 8-5 corporate job, I still worked part-time as a server, dining host, and karaoke hostess. My three favorite pastimes are enjoying delicious food, meeting new people, and discovering new adventures. To continue, my biggest disappointment was that two of the six Oyster Rockefellers didn't contain any oysters at all! It's baffling how that could happen. Usually, Oyster Rockefeller looks bulky with build-up depth from the spinach, cheese, butter, and seasonings on top of the oysters themselves. But these looked dull and bland with a plain flat top. They also weren't that hot. It wasn't really appetizing. Two of them only had the adductor muscle (that round, fleshy part attached to the shell), which I actually love, by the way. So you see, I couldn't be mistaken, as I slurped the oysters only to taste the spinach, cheese, butter, and the little bitty meat muscle I had to scrape a little off the shell with a fork. There were definitely no chewy, soft, and tasty oysters. I hope it was just a simple mishap, especially for an upscale restaurant known for its seafood dishes. Hopefully, a member of management sees and reads this review and takes corrective action to ensure this never happens again. Please note that the usual price for great-tasting Oysters Rockefeller at a well-established restaurant is $30. This place charges $25, which makes me think twice. But then again, some of its dishes are priced a few dollars lower than most, except for the dessert, which costs a few dollars more at $15. However, I still enjoyed it so much that it doesn't matter to me. In life, there are always pros and cons when it comes to overall preferences. It is always up to you to try things yourself and not rely on someone else's opinion, which might prevent you from discovering new things. That said, I am willing to come back to try other dishes that look equally scrumptious and reasonably priced: Toodle-loo, my darling readers. Until next time.
