The oysters were so delicious and the lobster rolls were just as good. You can tell this place has a lot of history behind it, and I love the location too. It's such a vibe to sit here with a lobster roll. Their fries are also delicious -- I asked for aioli even though it doesn't come with them originally, and their housemade aioli was so worth asking for. Highly recommend doing the same! And again, apparently BTS booked the whole place out for a day!!! That should tell you everything. Would absolutely come back.

As soon as we walked in, you are hit with a very potent smell of seafood, not in an appetizing way. After waiting like 15 minutes past our reservation time, we were seated upstairs. The service was decent and attentive. The food was solid. The calamari and the shrimp roll were enjoyable. My fish and chips was just okay. They did send out a dessert, on the house, since we did have to wait past our reservation time which was a nice gesture. Overall, I cannot see myself returning, especially since there are so many other options for seafood in the area.

They bring a different feel and different flavor to the outing. From the " napkin purse" ( awesome touch of creativity) to the tall unique glass of lemonade. And at Yardkoo you won't get your boil in a bag ( unless it's to-go ) They bring everything out on a stylish tray put together more like an art exhibit, then your meal for the evening. FYI: I ordered a half dozen of raw oysters to jump start things, and they were absolutely on point and super fresh from all angles ( a must have ) And once I actually dove into my meal, I was 100% sold that my loyalty was theirs for the foreseeable future. The environment is bubbly but not loud. The service is friendly and very attentive on all levels. The young woman ( Q ) did an outstanding job of helping me navigate the menu, sauce level, and to-go orders. She had the perfect attitude ( professional with a smile ) and she had an answer for every question I threw her way !!!! ( Shoutout to the bartender also ! ) Trust me when I say Yardkoo is etched on Mount Rushmore when it comes to seafood boil royalty !!!!

There is plenty of shared parking in the other businesses in the area. This was a little different because they bring the meal out on a hot skillet that had a burning sterno under it, so be careful. I did learn the hard way when I touched it. The food was good. I had the small boil that comes with half a pound of crab legs, half a pound of headless shrimp, half a pound of sausage, potatoes, and corn. You can choose your flavor and level of spice. I went with garlic butter medium spicy. More than enough to fill me up with a little leftover. Service was good as well. A very festive atmosphere inside. A few people had birthday celebrations this night and they played a club music birthday song.

The hostess who answered was friendly and took my order without issue over the phone. Prices on the online menu were outdated - my total was about $10 higher than what was listed online. No problem. The food was ready in about 15 mins. For $110, we got 2 lobster tails, 2 clusters of snow crab, and 2 lbs of headless shrimp, plus corn and potatoes. Potatoes were kinda large, would have preferred smaller ones, but they were cooked through. Only got 2 pieces of corn, but was well cooked. Shrimp and crab were good - lobster was overcooked and stringy. The sauce was lacking in flavor - and we got the hook and reel blend - we did get it mild, but I still expected the sauce to have flavor. Overall, it wasn't bad, but there are better places to get seafood boils from!

The seasoning at this spot is elite. Honestly, it holds its own against Hot and Juicy Crawfish, which has always been my top seafood spot. Everything about this experience was a 10 out of 10, especially the service. Our bartender Kenny also happened to be our server, and he did a phenomenal job. Even while bartending, he still made sure we were taken care of. On top of that, three or four other servers checked in on us throughout the night to make sure we had everything we needed. I really appreciated the teamwork and how focused everyone was on making sure we had a great experience. We started with the Passionfruit Sunrise, which Kenny recommended, and it was so good we ended up ordering three. My boyfriend had the Voodoo Lemonade and really enjoyed that too. For appetizers, we got the breadsticks, mozzarella sticks, and oysters. The oysters were a definite highlight . It was flavorful, steamed just right, and covered in all the sauces. If you're an oyster fan, you won't be disappointed. The chicken sandwich was also really good. The lobster bisque was just OK. I ordered a crab boil and added noodles, sausage, and eggs with the Hook & Reel seasoning blend. Everything was incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly. I honestly can't wait to come back, but I'd only return to this location. They hit every mark: food, drinks, and service. Highly recommend.

I'm sensitive to spice so I went mild on my Dungeness crab and shrimp with garlic butter. Even the mild had a kick, but it was within the level I find enjoyable. I was not expecting such wonderful food. We picked it because it was the closest available place to eat. It was so delicious we ordered again the next day. The cute bags they are cooked in made it ideal to take away and eat at home. I think we'd order here regularly if we lived in the area. I am very picky about my seafood. While I love shellfish, my typical response is "meh"...l'm always chasing GREAT seafood. I liked this more than the well known sit down restaurant we tried earlier in the week. While I assume they cook from frozen based on the type of crab served, it tasted very fresh and much better than other "cooked from frozen" other restaurants serve. I could eat nicely cooked crab every day!
