I visited 2AM Project in the middle of the week during the day, and it was a total vibe. Since it wasn't crowded, I really got to appreciate the futuristic, neon-lit ambiance. It felt like stepping into another world. The Food: I was impressed. I got the fish burger and the flavors are bold and very delicious. I did add extra pickles in mine. I also got the fries and those were delicious and crispy. The Service: Because it was a bit slower, the service was incredibly fast and the staff was super attentive and friendly. Upon entering, it's pretty clean and the LED lights are eye-catching, the layout of the restaurant is pretty easy to navigate lots of open space. Though there are no windows and the walls are lined with tables. We were making jokes the entire time about the beautiful scenery. (A fake window across the wall).. the giant encased heart decoration was...Interesting..? It was lunchtime. We were kind of expecting a small crowd, but we were the only people in the entire restaurant. There is no fountain drinks, only canned soda. There's no waitress. You take your order on the kiosk and then pay and sit and wait. There's no utensils given. Everything is self served We actually came for burgers, but the seafood boil caught my eye because two meat options were only around $40 .really kind of seemed like a good deal. The cheeseburger was a little bit underwhelming. boyfriend didn't even want to eat it because it "wasn't worth the calories." The chicken sandwich on the other hand got devoured. My crab boil. Devoured. We also got some fries and mozzarella sticks. I definitely rate this place a solid 7.3/10 All of the food aside from the burger was actually amazing and I would definitely go for the seafood boil alone. that lady in the kitchen knows what she's doing back there. The mozzarella sticks were really good highly recommend. For the crab boil, the crab clusters i received were big and juicy full of meat! Even without getting sides, you still get corn and potatoes. I got broccoli with mine and it was really delicious. I didn't realize that you had to pay extra to get the metal utensils to crack them open. I used the plastic fork provided at the utensil counter and my hands and I was able to get the meat out perfectly fine with very minimal struggle. Ask for the service it was OK. not very friendly. The girl at the front desk was on her phone on FaceTime the entire time that we were there and kind of seemed annoyed like we were bothering her whenever we asked questions or want drinks, dessert, etc..She was even like spraying the table and cleaning the counters with one hand holding the other hand up on FaceTime. My recommendation for this place would definitely be and a fountain drink machine possibly have a hostess seat guests ,Bring a roll of utinsils and do refills. It was late night so you have to order thru the carryout window. It was pretty busy but we didn't wait that long for our food. For $12 u get the fish sandwich and fries, which u have to pay extra cheese for and I don't like that. Grilled onions was $1.50 extra,which I didn't like also. Sandwich was good. I went home and added my own cheese. Honey old bay wings was so good! You get 10 party wings for $13. The sweet potato fries were not worth $6 but was pretty good. Good food! The wings were good, so was the chicken sandwich. The 3 level tea was UH MAZING. The fries were... nothing special. Same for the mozzarella sticks. The interior was really cool. I was up late and starving, so I was glad to find 2 AM Project open. I ordered fries and the honey Old Bay wings through a third-party delivery service. The driver took a little while to arrive, so the fries weren't piping hot, but they were still tasty. Late night carryout. Clean storefront with only a couple of tables and chairs. Many place their order to go, if you decide to use one of the tables, you place your order, seat yourself and head back to the counter when your food is ready for pickup. I built my own boil. I ordered mild Cajun season and was surprised at the amount of garlic present - whew! But once I got use to it, I was okay. I ordered two eggs and two or three potatoes to compliment my seafood and was given more than enough potatoes (6-8)... I ate my seafood, two eggs and two potatoes but the rest was overkill. I would recommend them but be prepared to pay additional for dipping sauce as you do not get a complimentary one with your order. read more

I'm glad I didn't read the reviews before I ordered through DoorDash. I ordered the shrimp over rice and three mixed drinks with chocolate mousse. I chose the 2 AM sauce for the shrimp over rice; it was excellent and garlicky. However, I made the mistake of adding the yellow sauce, which unexpectedly made my entire plate taste like a Big Mac. I will try this again, but won't add the yellow sauce next time. Oh, I almost forgot to mention that the drink was lovely, but it has the potential to be an excellent cocktail. So I finally got to try out the 2am Project & I must say it was a huge disappointment. I tried the crabmeat fries & triple mix. I'll give you the good and that was the triple mix. It was a delicious blend of flavors blended just right. It was so good I started to go back & order another one. So we were starting off on the right foot until I tried the crabmeat fries. Now don't get me wrong the sauce was delicious & had so much potential. But first off they gave me sweet potato fries which was a huge no & it had a few other things mixed into them which had me not really feeling it. I just feel it was way too much going on with the taste of them. I love 2am Project because they have filled a void of the lack of late night restaurants in Baltimore. With that being said, so far, I have found that some items are much better than others. My first visit, I had the. Combo over rice and a triple mix. It was so good and made me look forward to going again. The second time, I tried the cheesesteak sub and fries and I was absolutely disappointed. The cheesesteak sub was way too salty and the fries were bland and soggy. I returned for the combo over rice again and realized that was a solid dish there. This most recent visit, I tried a seafood boil bag. Didn't get what I ordered, I ordered a build a catch seafood boil with crab, shrimp, and lobster and never got my lobster. I tried to call the store MULTIPLE times, no answer. It's unfortunate because the restaurant itself looks nice and the staff seem friendly but if I pay $19 extra for an item I should get it and at least be able to call someone about it. I didn't even order through DoorDash (directly) or another food delivery/pickup service, it was through their website (I do understand it goes through DoorDash to place an order for their website). Since my first review I've ordered 2 more times. Their boils don't disappoint but I have noticed inconsistencies with their portions. The second boil I ordered with Garlic Butter Sauce and Crawfish this time. The Garlic Butter sauce was good however the crawfish tasted frozen and did not have much flavor. I also ordered their onion rings which were disgusting, they definitely did not fry them all the way which made them super soggy and gross. Their Mac bites were pretty good and come with a sauce that reminded of mayo & ketchup mixed together. The 3rd time I ordered another boil with their lobster tail, it was pretty good but the lobster tail was tough to get out of the shell which usually is pretty easy for me. read more

The flavor of the house spice blend was good, but what is the point of offering seafood boils in house if you don't offer crab crackers or hammers for patrons to use? We ordered one of the desserts, which looked about palm size on screen and came out in what looked like a baby food container. Portions are small. The most solid items for me have been the cheesesteak and the chicken and lamb over rice bowl. The one time I ordered the wings they were terrible, lacked flavor, and had gotten soggy and rubbery in the packaging, even though they were fried. Fries aren't that great, and I've tried the regular and Cajun. I've only ordered delivery so I can't speak on the service. Location is meh.. people don't really bother you but they do stand outside. This restaurant does not ensure nor confirm that the order is going to the correct person/driver! I ordered from Uber Eats and my driver changed multiple times. Upon receiving my 4th driver, I contacted them to ask if there was an issue at the restaurant and was informed that "someone already picked up my food" it had been over 35mins and I never received my food and had not been contacted by the restaurant or uber regarding someone stealing my order. I also haven't been able to contact this restaurant due to the incorrect number being provided. The inside of the restaurant was closed and the only point of contact is from their window outside the restaurant. Service was excellent and food was pretty good. I ordered their seafood boil with crawfish Dungeness crab and snow crab. The portion size was decent and I certainly felt full. The house mix sauce wasnt my favorite though so I may try their garlic butter sauce next time. The seafood tasted pretty fresh, the crab meat was firm and the crawfish looked clean.
