Only one cashier was on duty, and it caused many people to leave. All seating was taken up by employees. Lack of seats was a big deal.

It's such a fun, upbeat atmosphere, and the employees are always great to us. They recognize us when we come in, remember us, and always make us feel welcome. We are big pizza, beer, and wings people. Years ago, we actually owned our own pizza, beer, and wing restaurant, so when we moved to Yelm, finding a place where we could get that kind of food and atmosphere was important to us. Farrelli's has definitely become one of our go-to spots. The pizza is good, they have plenty of options if you're not in the mood for pizza, and we especially love the Korean wings. They also have a really good selection of beer, and it's always cold and good. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the trivia team rule. If you have more than six people on a team, you either lose points or have to split your team. We had been trying to get a big group of friends together to go and have a fun night, but it became such a hassle that we eventually stopped inviting people and just started going with a couple of people so we didn't have to lose points or split up. I completely understand having rules around team sizes, but it would be nice if there were a way to make it easier for larger groups to participate together. That said, we really enjoy Farrelli's and continue to go regularly. We've only gone a couple of times just for dinner, but we've been to trivia night many times. They also do all kinds of other events and activities, which makes it a really fun place to have in Yelm. Definitely recommend Farrelli's if you're looking for good pizza, wings, cold beer, and a fun atmosphere!

Their smash burgers are juicy, oversized, and tender -- with beautifully crisp edges. The spicy bacon smash is perhaps the best non-homecooked burger I've ever had. Ok, where to start…read more.. (Slightly off topic) Years ago I worked for a company called IKON, and that name was an acronym for "I Know One Name"... after today "I Know One Name In Chicken" Wings. IKONIC WINGS!! We've lived in Grays harbor for 5 years, and all this time there are staples from Seattle that I continue to search for. A good sushi place. A good Chinese place, A good Reuben Sandwich. A good serving of wings. I came across a TikTok or Insta Reel about this place (as I've found many in Thurston that way) so I thought I'd check it out. Well I have to look for further, this place is quaint with wonderful decorations, and a small amount seating. I knew their focus ahead of time was take out, and that's what I was there for. The gal at the counter was very nice, we had a good conversation, we talked about the menu, the sides, and I asked her recommendation for sauces. She told me her couple and I went with it. I ordered a main sauce and then asked if the other sauce if they could be on the side so I could try a variety, and she said she could put them all on the side and I could try them out. (In hindsight I am glad I did because these travels 40 minutes back to grays harbor and they double dipped breading was still crunchy... YES!!! Still crunchy.side note: because we love rural I have a powered hot/cold box that keeps food warm or cold for long drives) The breading has great seasoning and flavor, the plain mean (after the first bite) is seasoned well and very tasty. The wings are very large, which is the way I like them. I tried the Buffalo and the Sweet Blaze, and they were both amazing. I dunked heavily and then topped with some bleu cheese... this is the ONLY wing joint I'll go to. (I think like the heat in the buffalo I think a little over the sweet) The honey biscuits were not too sweet, and very amazing. I couldn't try the Waddles as they were sold out but thats ok, I'll try them next time. Oh and there will be a next time, many next times :) As I started... now "I KNOW ONE NAME IN CHICKEN" Wings Thank you for an amazing experience, and amazing customer service, and a wow moment with that very first bite, and then the oh wow moments as I proceeded with my meal.

Honestly, if you looked up "Ikonic" in Webster's Dictionary, it should just say: Exceptional food. Exceptional service. This is my GO-TO anytime a wing craving hits, and after trying plenty of places, I can honestly say nothing and no one compares. Their wings are always extra crispy, perfectly sauced, and packed with flavor. Whether you call, drive over, order through DoorDash, or have someone else pick it up, do yourself a favor... when that wing craving hits, head straight to Ikonic Wings & More. Trust me. Your taste buds will thank you.

The very first time, the owner was our server and the service was actually pretty good. The food was mediocre, but we figured we'd come back and give it another shot. Unfortunately, that first experience has been the exception, not the rule. We are huge wing fans and so naturally we ordered the wings. They were freezer burnt and they were the full wing the flat and the drum hooked together. We were not a fan of them. We've stopped in just for a couple of beers while waiting for our dog to get groomed next door, and even those visits have been uncomfortable. We've dealt with bartenders who were rude and completely unfriendly, and servers who seem to forget you're even there. We came here for Valentine's Day two years ago with a reservation, expecting a nice, romantic dinner. Instead, it was an absolute disaster. The staff looked completely overwhelmed, nobody seemed to know what was going on, our expense steaks were over cooked badly, we were ignored for long stretches, never offered refills, and the entire dinner was a huge disappointment. But we kept trying. Most recently, we brought two friends here because we really wanted to give it one more chance. We actually warned them not to have high expectations. Unfortunately, the service was just as bad. We were ignored, never got beer refills, and the food was terrible. Our friends left saying they never wanted to come back. Today, while waiting for our dog to be groomed, we stopped in for a couple of beers and ordered the JoJos from the happy hour menu. Six or so potato wedges that were overcooked and just not very good, with mediocre barbecue sauce and ranch. There is a new server here whom we've never had before, and honestly, she's been better than anyone we've dealt with here in the past. She's still pretty slow, but she is easily the best service we've had since that very first visit when the owner served us. And ironically, that same owner has completely ignored us every time we've been back and hasn't said a word to us since our first visit. At this point, we've tried enough times to know this isn't a one-off bad night. The service is consistently awful, the food is mediocre at best, and the prices don't match what you're getting. We genuinely try to support local businesses, which is why we kept coming back and giving this place another chance. But after six or so visits and multiple disappointing experiences, we're done. I absolutely cannot recommend this place. If you're looking for overpriced, mediocre food and consistently terrible service, this is your place! Otherwise, there are plenty of other local places that deserve your money.

My first job in high school was at Gilchrist Buick where the sales guys would walk over to Hans' for lunch (and likely a few drinks). Had never been myself. It's an old school tavern, and very clean. That chicken is epic. I know it's "broasted" and the broaster sets it apart because most taverns can't spare the square footage they take up. The end result is crispy, seasoned, moist, flavorful chicken with a crust not found elsewhere. We got the hand cut fries because most jojos are underwhelming. The crust on the fries make me KNOW the joes are also solid. Half chicken and fries or jojos for $18 is a deal in 2026. We were greeted by regulars and when one found out it was our first time there, he bought us both a round. True neighborliness! Both Jason and the other staff member were attentive and welcoming. We were assured this chicken left over and reheated holds up, and I don't doubt it because of that beautiful crust. I've been to other places folks crow about: the Spar, Anglea's, Terrys Office Tavern, Buddys. This chicken is superior, service was great, and it was welcoming. We will definitely return and likely order out, too.

Probably my favorite was the Jap-Chae or the Honey Gochujang wings. I love me a seafood pancake but this one was just bland. It was good sized and full of seafood, but it screamed for salt and seasoning. The spicy wings tasted like a spicy sauce you would get in a teriyaki joint and it was NOT spicy at all. Almost kind of ketchupy. I was excited to try their Tteok-Bokki and at the recommendation of the person taking our order, got the Rosé. This has to be the strangest dishes and flavors I have had in a very long time. I have had this dish elsewhere and really enjoyed it, however this one was just strange. Perhaps it's just me, but no thanks. The fried and steamed dumplings are as you would expect and the beef bulgogi was fine. Staff were nice and friendly, but there are lots better KFC places around here.
