My first day on my own and I end up here, eating my fill of Chinese buffet foods. Though in all honesty, it wasn't terrible for my eating regime. I did manage to stick to mostly proteins except for a few pieces from the sushi display. Some of the fried items are battered, I skipped those. Some of the protein options are covered in sauces, I skipped those as well. Of course, no noodles or rice. But I loaded up three plates and left stuffed. I think a decent deal for $20 with tip. If you want authentic, I do not recommend. If you want quantity or "American style" Chinese of fried food with sweet sauces, I recommend. There are no "specialties of the house" here. The updates removed dividers so noise bounces off the hard surfaces. It does look cleaner than the old restaurant in this space did. read more

What a TURN AROUND !!! This place is now under new management and it shows !! My buddy and I had lunch there today and it was a night and day experience. Their sushi bar was excellent ! The Chinese part was really good, the food was fresh, and I didn't try a single thing that was bad. I would only say one or two things were just okay. This was a huge change from the first (and only time) we tried this place. Even our waitress, Lisa, was really good !! She came to our table several times and kept our table cleared. We are definitely going back ! They added a Pho section but I did not try it. I would pay for this place just for their sushi alone. They stop taking guests at 9:30 and we were there about an hour before. Workers also started sweeping and leaving trash in piles on the floor and left them there, terrible sight while trying to eat. We've tried to go here 3-4 times since they opened and the line was always out the building so we'd end up just going elsewhere. Today we were happy to see no line and were sat right away. That was probably the only upside to our visit. The food wasn't terrible for the most part although temperature seemed to be a thing with a lot of the items we got, only 1 thing I got was actually hot. Most of them were lukewarm at best. I saw several people mentioning things were salty, I didn't come across that but a handful of things had off putting flavors and I had to spit it out because I couldn't take the taste. The service was fine but we had sticker shock when we went to pay. I knew it was $16.99 and for some reason I just assumed that included drinks. I know not all buffets included drinks but I'm pretty sure all the Chinese buffets we've been to here have been included and with the already high prices I wasn't expecting to pay another $6 for 2 sodas. We would have gotten water if we knew that as we do at regular restaurants. And yes that's my fault for "assuming" and not asking. $44 for 2 people with no leftovers seems outrageous to me. As far as the place itself it was clean and updated. The lighting was not my favorite, especially around the food areas. We had a very long wait to enter the building/be seated. We were then seated in what I would describe as "the family room". This was a room near the sushi bar where all families with children were sat it appeared. Our child is very well behaved but others not so much. A group in particular was very disruptive to our meal. Parents were doing nothing as their preschool age child would randomly scream and act up throughout our meal. Server even commented something about 'sorry about the craziness back here'. The pricing is outrageous! Management gives out judgmental looks instead of doing their job. They have now put a time limit on how long you can stay for. Eating out is meant to be enjoyable, it's not meant to be spent worrying if you'll be kicked out or talked about by the staff. I visited and came with my family to celebrate a birthday. However, I was met with staff pointing their fingers at my table and when I saw them they stopped talking. The food was cold and unappetizing. They continued to add additional charges on my tab just to get the gratuity tip. Not worth the price. This is just another standard Chinese buffet--nothing special. We waited over 10 minutes for a table, which I understand since they're still new and getting things running. However, the service was lacking. Our waitress didn't refill our drinks or clear the table; instead, the hostess had to step in to clean up so new guests could be seated. Food was very fresh and huge selection of so much to try. I didn't have anything i did not like. Staff very friendly and helpful especially as crazy busy as it was. Glad we got there at 11:00am when opened as already a line then and when we left about 12:15 it was packed and still a line. Price is just not worth the it. Just entry fee per person for dinner (anytime after 4pm, or all day Friday & weekends) is about $27, that's without drinks/tip. It's about 10$ cheaper per person on lunch hours (which is only during Monday through Thursday) and that would be about a normal buffet pricing anywhere else. Food I would say is average, the dinner pricing for the about 5 added seafood dishes doesnt justify the pricing. I mainly came here during dinner to try the crab, but the crabs were so small, not worth the work to get the crab meat out of. They have improved pricing and excellent service but the food was horrible. The salad bar was good but the sushi I'd avoid and most of my staples were dry like Singapore noodles and fried rice. We had a arty of four and 3 out of 4 said never going back because of food quality and taste. We went in at 3:45pm and the extremely rude woman at the counter (JULIE) told us it would be dinner pricing even though it was not 4p yet When I told her I would pay the extra pricing for dinner at lunch time, but I didn't agree with it and would leave a review, she replied that she is refusing the right to service. My husband and I go here often since moving here, and we have tried many different buffets in the area. My favorite is the sushi. It is always fresh. The sushi bar wasn't your typical one little counter of items but instead is a large walk around area with many different kinds of sushi. We came around 3:40PM, which wasn't that busy there was a short line. And then they decided to seat us a group of five people in a small booth while there were still big booths available and group of two in those table instead. Didn't understand that logic, but we were small enough to fit. After about 45 minutes of us eating the server came over and asked us to pay, I thought it was a bit early but whatever we paid. It was around 4:10PM and that's when dinner items started coming out so I decided to try some of those out. I probably got like one more plate and while eating the server came to inform me that we paid for lunch only and that it was now dinner prices. I said okay and lost my appetite. We didn't ask to pay yet and would have been fine to pay for dinner prices once we paid. It seems that they expect you to leave once you pay. A typical buffet gives you a 2 hour limit, so maybe this one has a different time limit that we were not made aware of. Food selection was many but the quality was barely there. Quantity over quality isn't always good. The only dishes that I thought stood out were the curry noodles, one of the mussels dish (forgot which one), seafood soup, and the sushi selection were all good.
