GET. THE. PORK…read more RIDGE. I've eaten a lot of sandwiches in my time, and I'm pretty sure the Pork Ridge is a top 10 for me. It's porchetta, 'nduja, and provolone. How can you go wrong? I've been meaning to go to ALC for a while and finally had a chance to stop in before visiting my folks. The guys behind the counter are the nicest. They recommended the Pork Ridge as it's their Saturday special, and boy did it not disappoint! They sliced the porchetta off the roll and reheated it in the oven for me. It was topped with some aioli and grilled on a panini press, and it was just perfection. I also got the salmon with two sides for my parents to split. They're usually picky eaters, but they loved it! While you wait for your food, you can also do some grocery shopping. They have a ton of meats and cheeses, a fridge dedicated to caviar, and all other sorts of Italian specialties (like these delicious almond cookies from Italy that I bought). There are a few tables in the front if you want to sit and eat, but it's mostly a grab-and-go kinda place. Will 100% be back!

I can tell they have that oven running and bake often because I always pass by this place different hours of the day and it always smells amazing! Curiously I went in today to see what kind of food that the deli had to offer and whad'ya know they had chicken over rice which is great since I recently started enjoying chicken over rice and got bored of eating the same old bacon, egg & cheese and Chinese BBQ pork over rice at my local Chinese Restaurant. The new deli had only 1 guy making the food unfortunately but it's understandable since it's a brand new deli on the block.
