I want to share my experience with other families who is looking for a mover so they don't have to go through the stress we went through with this company. I would not recommend this moving company for long distance move and have reserve about their mover/packing team for local move as well. It started all nicely with Evan coming out to my house to give an estimate. We confirmed our move with partial packing service and car transportation online smoothly a month prior to the move date. Several days before the actual move 5/22, the team contact us and ask if we are using them to transport our vehicles when I thought everything was reserved a month ago. Jakub then called around and was able to secure car transportation 2 days after the actual move day. Fortunately I was still in town to wait for the cars to be picked up after my husband moved out of state first. The auto transport company they contracted out was not responsive and difficult to get a hold off. There were much delay and I was waiting the whole day until our cars were picked up at 8:30 PM (I have a flight out of Seattle with my kids the next day and wouldn't know what to do if the auto transport company did not show up to pick up the cars). I paid for the movers to pack my kitchen and office but thought it was a waste of $. I think I can packed better and more secure than those young guys in their 20s. They just put my espresso machine and instant pot without any wrapping directly into a big box and use multiple packing paper to roll up a bottle of peppers. I don't really get the rational behind this. They don't wrap and protect the big things that are easily breakable and expense, but wrap small item like a bottle of garlic salt in plastic bottle with 2 large wrapping papers. Now onto the delivery of my furniture on the other end. The driver/head mover who delivered my shipment was Dan. He seems professional and knows what he is doing. He looks at all the room and asked where we want everything to be place. I thought, " Great! My thing is arriving!" But he was solo and where is his crew? It appears that he contract a local group to help with the move. 3 guys (16yo, 18 yo and one in his 20s who is starting as a mover for the very first time) arrived to help with the move. One of the kids are always on the phone and they were quite careless with my boxes and furniture. They made MULTIPLE HUGH scratches on my wooden floor in my new home. They are not prepare and didn't even eat breakfast and asking me for protein bars and water. 2 guys stayed behind and were supposed to assemble the beds but could not locate the tools and screws. So they just sat around and did nothing while Dan and one other guy went to get the remaining of my shipment. Dan came back and said the rest of my shipment has not arrive and the parts/screws maybe still in transit. He said he only have those guys for 5 hours and they are leaving. I was left with no bed assemble to sleep in. I dont mind sleeping on the floor but I have small kids and elderly in the house. Dan returned the next day and the rest of the shipment and assembled all the bed by himself solo. We found damaged such as decor and lamp that was packed by the movers. They just dump all the misc items including my dyson v8 cordless in a big box without any protection. One of my dyson ball vacuum was missing and never delivered (maybe someone stole it in transit) and 2 of my cushions of my L sectional are missing as well. How are you suppose to use a sectional with 2 cushions missing? My nightstand has multiple dens and scratches. Dan took pictures of the damages and we sent him pictures of damaged items and wooden floor damages. He said he will forward to his boss and they are waiting for a quote for the repair. We email the Super friends moving company about all these issues and have not received any response for 1 week. It has been almost 3 weeks since we moved in with all these damages and missing items. Super friend moving company has not given me a response or reply. I messaged Jakub today and let's see if he will response. I hope this review will be helpful to others so they dont have to go through the same distress we went through. read more

A friend recommended Super Friends because she had heard good things about them. I contacted them about a week before my move to make sure I got on their schedule. They called me back quickly, and although I wanted an 8am arrive time, they couldn't do it - they gave me a 1pm arrive time.Then I read some of the reviews here and wasn't sure they were the right people to do my move. I just hoped they would show up on the day and time we had agreed on. I needn't have worried. They called me the day before to confirm. They also called me that morning, saying their early job went so smoothly that they could come earlier (Yay!). They even asked me if they could pick up a latte or something on the way for me! I had most of my stuff packed but there were some delicate things that I didn't know how to pack. These guys knew exactly what to do. Got everything packed and protected. They were so professional, very nice people great sense of humor. AND they worked fast, and didn't seem to slow down so they would be paid more. These guys have a special service to take things that you don't want anymore to Goodwill for under $15 each. I had two couches and two desks which they gladly took away. I called around to other moving companies and they didn't provide that service. When you are moving and trying to get rid of stuff, these services are really helpful. I would have had to find some other truck service to take these items to Goodwill and that would have been more time that I didn't have. One of my desks was really big and it wasn't able to be moved the way it was. They had a huge bag of tools and took it apart and moved it into the moving truck very easily. I also had a brand new microwave that I couldn't use and they offered to donate it at no extra charge. At my new house, the unloading was very fast. They asked me where I wanted everything and had an instinct of where things went. When the unloading was done, off the clock, they did a walk thru with me to make sure things were where I wanted them. They did move some things from one room to another before they left. Using Super Friends moving was the absolute best thing I could have done. I am moved now and able to unpack easily. AND nothing was broken or damaged. They really know how to pack and drive. NO hassles about them not arriving or anything else I read here. They are completely professional, work well together, great sense of humor and know all the "in's and out's" of anything packing or moving. I could have just sat back and not done any packing and it would have been just fine. I would highly recommend these guys for your move. read more

I recently had a complicated move going from Kent, Washington to Point Roberts. Point Roberts is very unusual place - an exclave of the United States - only accessible by land by driving through Canada. That means you have to cross an international border (twice!) to get there. I was super-anxious about this move because of the complexities navigating customs, and because I had some antique furniture, including a piano, and I didn't want to have to load and drive a giant box truck myself or ask a friend to help. When I called around to get quotes, many of the small moving companies in the area wouldn't even touch it. They referred me to the larger companies, who came out to give me estimates that were very high, and even they seemed baffled about what to do. I saw the reviews here on Yelp and gave Super Friends Moving a call, and the manager, Jakub, spoke with me. Turns out he knew about this odd location and had moved others there before. And - when a scary, last-minute mess came up with closing, Jakub was friendly and flexible in rescheduling the move for later, allowing me to apply my nonrefundable deposit to a future date. When the moving day did get scheduled, Jakub sent out a crew with international moving experience - Chris and Evan - both of whom reassured me that they had everything under control. Evan said he had done numerous international moves in the past and was well-acquainted with customs rules. He even found a couple of canisters of flammable cleaning fluid that I had boxed and had no idea where to find - saving a huge amount of trouble. Both of them were very friendly, got along well with each other (that makes a huge difference!) and careful with my things. I've had to move a lot, and while this move was high-stress, everyone at Super Friends Moving truly did take a load off my shoulders because of how well they had prepared. These have been the best movers I've worked with - and they did it at a fraction of the cost of those big moving companies. I highly recommend them for moves far away and near. read more

SuperFriendsMoving was amazingly totally efficient from the start when I easily was able to schedule online the estimate. First Craig came as scheduled and evaluated my home contents in detail to provide an exact estimate for my move from the south end of Puget Sound to the north side, (it was a relief they do more than local moves). Craig answered questions and explained things well for my move. Then later I got email with the estimate and an easy way to pay the deposit. After that a few reminder emails came assuring me all was still on schedule. The actual day of the move was the most professional of any move I have experienced. The crew showed up on time perfectly early in the day and ready to go. They walked though the rooms to eval my packing job, then got right to work. Crew leader Sam was informative and so good at putting things in the van like a tight puzzle. His workers Charles, Mikey, Leo and Braylon were such hard workers!!! They so carefully got everything loaded at an amazing speed with not a speck of damage to the two story home or my contents. Best of all the men were polite, friendly and did not complain at all even though it was a hot day. After the drive many hours north, on the other end, they continued to work with the utmost efficency and care at our new home. Though they had worked so hard all day the crew unloaded things carefully directly to each room location. Again I was so impressed how well the contents and furniture arrived without any damage and the newly painted walls did not have a single knick. I cannot say enough how wonderful this company turned out to be. Finding and hiring good movers can the most stressful part of a relocation, and this is the first time I had to do this process totally by myself. FANTASTIC service. Matthew and Craig moved me and they were superb. We had tons of fun, actually. They are great guys. Jakub organized it ahead of time and dropped by and brought me the mattress cover and closet box (pretty dandy little thing for $5!) and that was cool because he gave me a good estimate on the time it would take them. And he was right on. I hate moving, too -of course. And I was so proud I was going to be uber-prepared before they got there. And then, what do ya know, I was not the stellar packer. There were lots of little things left they had to deal with. Like, boxes with things sticking out of them which makes it tough to pack the truck. But they never showed the teeniest sign of being annoyed. Super nice. Super helpful. And- this is HUGE - I feel like they both knew they were on the clock and wanted to really be efficient and let me get the most for my money. So, for example: at the end, I decide to spend a few more bucks and have them put together my bed because they'll do it in 5 minutes and it'll take me forever. Craig was dealing with screwing something in and it was kind of a one-person job so Matthew is like, 'hey, I'm available. What else do you want me to do?' Like- put your money to use. That was so cool. Really awesome folks. Oh, and also- they were definitely cautious about my things and the know what they're doing. They know how to pack stuff (boxes and in the truck) so it's not going to break, and move stuff carefully, too. things to make your move smoother: -tape up the boxes. I was confused about that, thinking I could just fold it over because that's what Jakub did with the closet box. No. If you do seal it up with tape, it's easier for them to pack on the truck. -get your friends out of the way and make sure the halls and everywhere is free from people. :) (these are the less obvious things. Super Friends. The name says it all. I needed some furniture moved from my dad's house (60 miles north of me) into my house, and my old furniture moved out and hauled away. Apparently all I have are Mediocre Friends, because no one returned my call when I was looking for help. Thank goodness Jakub at Super Friends stepped up to the plate and granted my request! He had the good sense to assign my project to who have to be the most SUPER of all Friends- Preston and Clint. If there is an above and beyond ABOVE "above and beyond", these guys went there. Due to a technical malfunction beyond their control, the project got delayed, and they did everything within anyone's power to make things right by the customer (me). Preston would call to continually update me on the situation, and I was really impressed with his professionalism. They assured me they would work around my (and my dad's) schedule, and they did just that. When we were finally able to connect for the delivery, it was like meeting up with old friends! (Well, friends that would help move furniture, anyway) Preston was awesome- so POLITE (don't see that so much in them young un's these days) professional, and friendly, and what a worker!! Very conscientious, and he and Clint worked together seamlessly. They were efficient, careful, accommodating..how many more superlatives can I add? They even HAPPILY (or so they made it seeem) rearranged the furniture when I decided I didn't like the way I originally asked them to place it. I've never used a moving company before. We booked Super Friends Moving to take us from our rental in Columbia City to our first ever owned home in Beacon Hill. We only decided we'd like to get help with the move a week before it happened, and so we were pretty stoked that these guys could fit us in on our move date. A couple of days before the move, I called them because we clearly had more boxes than we'd budgeted for, plus a large wooden desk that I'd forgotten to tell them about previously. The person I spoke to on the phone told me that it shouldn't be a problem - they should still be able to move us for the amount they'd quoted. On the day itself, the crew appeared at the scheduled time. Originally, they'd planned to use three guys, but were only able to send two. These guys worked like demons and got the truck loaded up with all our furniture and our way-more-than-50 boxes by lunchtime. We all met back up at the house after lunch, and they were done a couple of hours later. There was a dicey moment when it looked like we weren't going to be able to fit my large chrome and glass table through the door - but they were able to quickly pop the door off the hinges and squeeze it into the house - and it only took them five minutes! We had a really positive experience. These guys took a lot of care moving our stuff. They didn't break a single thing - even though we have quite a few things that are super-easy to break. The final sweet surprise came when we paid - because there were only two guys, they came in under the low end of their estimate! Would definitely use these guys again! read more

I began the process by giving a detailed list of the items that would be moved (furniture, estimated number of boxes, etc.) in order to get an online quote. I soon received a quote from Jakub, the owner/manager, and after comparing their price and terms with quotes I'd received from other moving companies, I decided to go with Super Friends moving. During the time prior to my scheduled move date, I emailed Super Friends several times to clarify questions I had regarding specific details about the move, and they were always very responsive to my questions. My move date arrived, and as promised, the crew called me when they were on their way and kept me up-to-date on their estimated arrival time. They arrived as scheduled, and all three (Beau, the crew lead, and Brandon and Brandon), were all exceptionally professional. They worked quickly and efficiently, while still taking good care of my items and not damaging the surrounding walls, etc. This was my first time hiring professional movers, and I was initially reluctant at first, but now I'm so glad to have chosen Super Friends Moving to handle my move into my new home. Despite how I often I move, I hate it; hate to pack, hate to load, hate other people packing or loading my stuff. Another move looms. What to do? Based on the reviews here, I called Super Friends. No matter how many neurotic e-mails I sent to Jakub, he remained calm and reassuring, even when I said my mad packing skillz were deteriorating to stuffing garbage bags; even when I required him to confirm their arrival times on several occasions (c'mon, how many movers fail to show up on time?). He and Ryan showed up nine minutes late, but called to say so. They did not mock all my garbage bags. They hauled stuff down two flights of stairs and a long sidewalk. Then they drove across town and unloaded it down a long hallway and up two flights of stairs. Every single item was packed carefully, wrapped in blankets, tied down -- so no damage. Every item was unloaded carefully and quickly and put where I requested. Super Friends Movers were under both their estimated time and their quoted fee. They were quick, efficient, friendly, calm, and incredibly strong. Even complimentary about how well I packed. For that, they got an extra tip. I hired Super Friends from a friend's recommendation. I emailed rather than called, which seemed to do the trick, as Jakub was extremely responsive to all my questions and the quote came in the best yet. The crew was about 45 minutes late, however, they called in advance to let me know, so there was no issue. And when they showed up, they were friendly and personable. The move ended up taking longer for a few reasons: 1) access from home to truck was less than ideal 2) their large truck had broken down and they were renting a smaller one that was a tighter fit for my things, and lastly (and the biggest deal) 3) my sofa would not fit in the new place! I may or may not have been showing it outwardly, but I was FREAKING out about the sofa. Not only did Super Friends encourage me to allow them to hoist the sofa over the balcony to the second floor, but told me it was be 'no big deal'. Jakub ended up joining the crew to help with the hoist, and I swear, these guys enjoyed the challenge. They were thorough and made it look easy. I couldn't believe how cool they were! Jakub gave me a great overall rate, and I am a happy camper WITH a sofa. If you need any hoisting, these are you guys. An unexpected surprise! We had planned to move most of our things ourselves but knew we needed help with the heavy oversized items (washer, dryer, bed, couch, etc). Due to our closing process we had to delay our move of the heavy items to the day after our original reservation. Jakub was so great in working with us at the last minute to get the date changed around and make sure that we were covered. When Scott and his crew arrived (I'm sorry I've forgotten their names!) they were fast and efficient. They had the truck packed in no time flat and we were on our way to the new house. It had been a long week balancing the closing process, cleaning our old house, loading and unloading the truck with a mountain of boxes all while wrangling a three year old--so needless to say when we got everything to the new house it was almost midnight and we were beyond exhausted. So it was an unexpected and welcome surprise to discover that the guys had not only done a great job moving our heavy items but they also set up our bed! I think I almost burst into tears I was so grateful. It's the little things that go a long way and I can't say thank you enough. If we ever move again, Super Moving Friends will be my first call and I already I've recommend them to friends. read more

I wish I could give this company 0 star rating as we've got the worst experience you could imagine - one week before the move and no moving company for that date as Super Friends lost our booking somewhere in their system. I contacted Super Friends in May about the quote for our moving in the end on June. I was appointed the estimator Aaron for the virtual tour and after that he said that they would contact me closer to the moving date which was scheduled for June, 25th. I've never heard from them since then and contacted them couple days ago, 1.5 weeks before our move-out/in. There was badly broken communication within the company as they couldn't find any paperwork related to our move. And the worst part - we aren't in their schedule and cannot be squeezed in as they are "booked till mid of July". They just recommended us to contact other companies and didn't try to help us or correct the mistake happened on their side. They not only move your stuff in and out but also just MOVE ON if by their fault you end up with house full of boxes and no moving service scheduled. Now our family has to complete the Mission Impossible - to find another moving company or truck which is hard in this time of year and with such a short notice. Horrible service! read more

I used Super Friends to pack and move a 3000 square foot house from Kirkland to Bellevue. The movers on my job were Craig, Howard, and Bernard. They did a superb job. Highlights: - They all moved at high speed the entire day from 9:30am to 1:15 am. It took a long time but there were 90 boxes plus furniture, and they were practically running the entire time. They were in great spirits the whole time too. - Great care with my items. Nothing was damaged. Including walls, floors, door frames, fragile decorative pieces, and electronics. I have been unpacking their boxes all weekend and I find myself smiling at how much attention was paid to special items. - They only took two breaks the entire day, for lunch and dinner. Lunch was 1.25 hours and dinner was 1 hour. - It poured rain the entire day, and they took extra steps to keep my newly washed carpets clean and dry. They took their shoes off every time they entered the house. - They were, in my opinion, very affordable. There were no hidden fees, the packing materials were charged at cost, as was a second truck. I basically just paid for their labor. And given how hard they worked, I think I got an incredible deal. I will never use a different moving company again. read more
