My husband and I came to this new location after having it in their Suwannee location and I honestly can say, I was so disappointed. When I first had their ramen that's all I could think about when we visited Atl. After moving in the area and having this on a random Tuesday night idk what it was but I got their spicy kimchi ramen and my husband got their tonkotsu ramen and it lacked flavor. I asked for spicy Sichuan pepper sauce on side and all it was doing with a tiny bit in my ramen was making my tongue tingle the whole time. It kind of ruined my appetite. I had this better and not sure why that happened. I was charged extra without being informed of this and I gave her the whole sauce back after telling the server about this. I just like being informed of what I will be charged extra for, that's all. Anyways, overall did not appreciate this location at all. read more

Ahh the honey comb place, it been on my list forever and I finally got to go. The place was quite empty on a Sunday evening, and we received the food fairly quickly. We ordered Classic Japanese Omurice, Crispy Chicken Rice Burger with Purple Sweet Potato Fries, and Yinyang Bowl. My Crispy Chicken Rice Burger was quite hard to eat without it falling apart and eating it layer by layer. The Thai Iced Tea was pretty good and so was a Purple Sweet Potato Fries. Kyuramen brings the east side vibe to Alpharetta. The unique honeycomb seats aren't the real draw to me. It's the private dining rooms -- something Alpharetta hasn't experienced yet. The menu offers a wide selection of ramen and small plates, but you also get a good selection of other new things around here -- rice burgers andddd OMURICE! The lunch special is epic. You get a bowl of ramen and a side. The ramen selection for the special is very limited -- shoyu or spicy tonkotsu. You can also get pan-fried dumplings or a bao bun. It's not on the menu online, but they're running right now. The space is wide open so the acoustics in there carry music to a near deafening level, but they were gracious enough to turn down Taylor Swift a few notches when asked. I had Thai Tea which was not bad. It's made in the American fashion with half and half. This place would get 5-stars if they hit this with the sweetened, condensed milk variety. Overall, Kyuramen makes a good bowl of noodles and offers a variety that's novel to the area. I'm happy to see them here. Service was prompt, courteous, efficient... :-) get in there. read more

Glad Kyuramen opened up in Alpharetta! One of our fav ramen spot. The new location is spacious compared to one in Suwanee/Duluth. They have different kinds of seating. Amazing service, all the staff were great. We tried the chicken popcorn (not the best we have had), pork based ramen, chicken broth ramen - The ramen was spot on. Delicious broth and perfect noodles. I finally got to try this highly anticipated Ramen/Boba Tea spot in the Milton/Alpharetta. This place is right off Hwy 9/North Main St. The parking lot is huge and there is plenty of parking. I can't say how nice the interior decor inside is. It transform you back to Japan. The dining area was amazing and the upstairs tables were amazing and something I have never seen in my life before at a restaurant. Customer service was amazing and the staff was super friendly and helpful. There is also coloring pens and paper to keep your kids occupied. They had a lunch special for $15.99 which includes 1 of 2 kinds of Ramen, 1 of 2 kinds of drinks, and 1 of 2 kinds of appetizers. We ordered the #1. Tokyo Tonkotsu Shouyu Served with, Pork Chashu, Bamboo Shoot, Wakame, Half Marinated Egg, Nori, Corn, Scallion. (Pork Broth) and #2. Kyushu Tonkotsu Shio Served with, Pork Chashu, Bamboo Shoot, Wakame, Half Marinated Egg, Nori, Corn, Scallion. Both of these were delicious and fresh. As far as drinks, we got the Thai Tea and Amazing Lemonade. Both tasted amazing! The appetizers, we got the chicken dumplings and Steam Pork Bao Buns Braised pork between Bao Bun served with fresh veggies and KYURAMEN special sauce. I can't say how good everything tasted and for the price, you can't beat it!! They also have a seperate store for the boba tea drinks. I can't wait to come back and try the other foods and drinks. We came here opening week and thought it was great! I had never been to this strip mall before even though I drive by it all the time. Parking was easy in the large shared lot. I love that it is open late for a suburb, even on weekdays. Our first impression was the cool seating pods they have that are on top of each other. We chose the far upper corner one and had a great view of the restaurant from there. There are also tables i nthe open section, and some private pones behind a curtain, giving you that booth feel. We started off with the fried gyoza and besides that there was just a bit too much sauce, were otherwise great. I had the Tokyo Tonkotsu Ramen and it was really good. The proportion of the ingredients was just right and there noodles were fresh and tasty. My kids split a Spicy Kyushu Tonkotsu (we added extra noodles for $3) and it was the perfect amount. I'm proud of them for getting the spiciest level and handling it! They also got to draw on a small piece of wood and hang it in the tree when they were done. A nice touch for sure! They are also affiliated with an attached TBaar, which is a Boba tea place that is very decently priced. Again, the late hours on this place will definitely draw us back. read more

I absolutely loved this place!!! You can choose to sit in a private room, normal table or in the cool honeycomb rooms! The place is absolutely beautiful and well done. Also very clean. Employees: All of them are super sweet. Me and my group had at least 100 questions about what something was and they answered all of them. Food: Presentation is spectacular. There's loads of flavor in each dish. The ramen is very filling. The drinks were also delicious. Price: each person is roughly $20-$30 10/10 recommended! I'm sorry I don't know how this place has so many positive reviews. Me and my friend came here since we always go for ramen when I'm in town. The honeycomb seating is awesome, I will them that. Also the sweet potato fries were delicious. That is where it ended. We both ordered our ramen and it came out and apparently they messed up and gave me something with heat. I can not eat spicy. They exchanged it and I was like cool. The new bowl came out and it had a very odd taste. I got the pork ramen. There was no favorite in this broth what so ever. It had a smell to it that I could not place. The pork was tough as well. I ate half of it and I just couldn't . I asked the waiter if it was supposed to smell like that and he was like I don't smell anything. My friend got the veggie ramen and she also said it had a weird taste and odor as well. read more

Im glad we were finally able to come to this restaurant. It has been on our list for a long time. Seeing that its in Alpharetta and we have to make the 50 minute drive here, it was worth the drive. We came on Mother's day and we expected a crowd and we were surprised that it was not crowded. Got the best seat in the house according to moi. Right in the top booth. The steps are not many but a bit steep so one has to be careful. The service was ok. They didnt really explain the menu. I take it they expect that you know of rahmen. Anyway I yelped the place and I ended up taking the rahmen tomkatsu, thats the breaded pork. I loved my rahmen but could have been more seasoned but thats preference. We also ordered appetizers: sweet potato fries and popcorn chicken. Both very good especially the popcorn chicken. We would like to come back and try different things on the menu. Came in with a group of friends excited to try this new spot (to us). Our experience with the waitress (blonde hair) was not great. She was rude and rolled her eyes when asking questions. We were in disbelief at the way she responded with attitude and body language. So unfortunately we left and did not get to try the food. They also have a poster on the wall that says they offer gluten free noodles or kale noodles to which the waitress rudely responded "yea no we don't do that." Not necessarily upset it was no longer on the menu more upset with her tone of voice as if we were stupid for asking. I then asked her if the scallops in a certain dish were were "breaded and fried" to which she acted like I didn't speak clearly to her so I repeated and she snapped back "I don't know" and gave us a look of "are you stupid?". I asked if she could find out (as I can't eat gluten I do not have celiacs but definitely a sensitivity to it) as she proceed to walk away she rolled her eyes at us. When we entered the place, he went back into the kitchen and didn't even recognize us and to offer us a place to sit. He kept ignoring us for 10 minutes. He finally came out and skipped us and went to the customer who came after us and sat him down. He looked at us and ignored us again and walked away. Kyuramen finally made it to Alpharetta so I must try it! I've been to the two other locations so it was nice see if my neighborhood location taste as good as I remembered. And it was delicious! First this is a delicious ramen place that has the best of both worlds of awesome ramen with amazing tea. There are at least 9 types of ramen with various toppings. My fav has been tonkastu, chicken ramen and miso shio. They have a nice combo menu that comes with 2 drinks, 2 desserts, 2 bowls of ramen with a popcorn chicken appetizer for $47. Totally worthwhile and feed a family of 4. We opted try their pork katsu Omni rice with curry sauce and it was delicious. Service was great, efficient and fast, kudos for a newly opened place to have operations down. I have kids so it was nice and spacious to not feel crowded but also the honeycomb booths made it easy for whole family to sit together without disturbing others. Lastly my favorite part is to have quality teas along with your meal. We are big fans for passion fruit tea, grapefruit aloe, brown sugar boba and lychee lime. Personally I like my teas with no sugar and it was perfectly flavored and mixed. This is definitely a place to try. read more
