Not going to lie this was probably one of the worst boba drinks I've had. I got the jasmine milk tea and there was no jasmine or milk tea flavor at all! It was very watered down and tasted like water to be honest. I tried to tell the employee but they didn't say anything to me and just took the drink back and remade it but it was still really bad. And when they were giving me back the drink he was very rude and yelled jasmine milk tea even though I was right in front of him. I had seen this shop on social media and happened to be in the area, so decided to go check it out. The decor for the seating area is very cute and they have a back room where the claw machines are. Staff was not the friendliest but they could've had a long day. The bright neon lights of the ordering table made it a bit difficult to focus on the menu but once I ordered staff gave me my total and I paid. They charge for coins to play the claw machines and the pricing for single plays are a bit overpriced and some machines cost 4 tokens. Overall not the best coin pricing system and the prizes were not the greatest quality to be charging so much. The boba tea didn't take long to make but the flavor of the tea was not the best. Very bland and slightly bitter for the Thai tea I ordered. It was an okay experience service and pricing wise but I'm just glad I was able to win ONE prize out of the many machines they had. Fun for the one time experience but as it is very out of the way for me I don't think I will be visiting again any time soon. read more

Parking can get tricky during rush hour. Store was very clean and tools of seating. Customer service was lacking. Didn't feel welcome just rushed and the store was not busy. We got Hong Kong Coffee with boba, Thai coffee with coconut milk and Brown sugar with cheese foam. All three were watery, syrupy sweet and tasted pretty much the same. Except for the coffee one which tasted like a light coconut water with a hint of coffee. The claw room in the back has tons of machines to play from, most take 2-3 rockets to play. The claw inside the machines worked like your standard claw...so neat of luck. What I found shady was the store guy walking around and opening the machines to reposition the plushies perfectly flat making the chances of winning nearly impossible for the kiddos. The only type of claw machine place like this in Atlanta that I know of. We actually randomly saw this location when driving past and stopped in to see what it was about since we've been to a similar concept in Houston. So far I've visited this place twice. The claw machines have a decent selection and it is not as crowded as the Houston one I've been to before. Overall not as well executed though. I've noticed that they've made the machines harder and it's very easy to spend $50 and not get a single stuffed animal. This imo disincentivizes people from coming back. Who wants to spend $50 and get nothing in return? We ended up spending over $100 each time and did go home with something but just be mindful it's not as easy as it might look. To get two stars back I'd love for the machines to be a little bit easier and for there to be more boba options. I'm a huge boba fan but haven't been impressed with the selection there. If I could have boba and play claw machines at the same time I really would probably spend more money read more

New boba place in Alpharetta! Great location (windward pkwy) right next to Chipotle. They have a huge room with crane (claw) machines! Most of them are pokemon based and some. Really nice seating area inside to hangout with friends. They serve milk teas, fruit based teas, milk shakes, slushies (frozen drinks) and few desserts. The drink comes in two sizes (regular or large). You get to choose the 'tea base' for fruit teas (options: black, jasmine green & oolong tea). They also have diary substitutes for milk based teas at additional cost. We tried the matcha latte and the lychee tea. The drinks were refreshing. Service was good and fast . I am genuinely disappointed by the business practices we experienced today and I would've called and told them this, but they have no phone number on their website! My two daughters and I spent approximately $40 on your claw machines, which appeared to be significantly rigged and did not provide a fair experience. Unfortunately, this was compounded by customer service that felt inattentive and unhelpful, which added to our frustration. Interesting concept for a boba place in Alpharetta! The front half is really cutely decorated and there is a good amount of seating as well. Tons of options for boba and a huge variety of claw machines in the back too. First off, the tea is pretty good here! There are some cool instagramable seating options and a photo backdrop. Parking was easy when we were there, but I know this strip mall can get crowded at peak times. When you order your drink, you can get tokens for the claw machines with your purchase. This is the only way to pay with a credit card for claw machine tokens. Otherwise, the machines are cash only and do not give change. The more tokens you buy, the less per token it is. In the back room, they have about 50 claw machines, including teeny tiny ones that have keychains as prizes. Some machines take more tokens than others, so beware. I think the rates are based on the prize potential and the highest one I saw took 3 tokens. There are some that take 1 and 2 tokens as well. We spent about 30 minutes here enjoying our drinks and living the thrill of the claw machines. For a $20 spend, we came away with 3 stuffed animals. The prizes are definitely attainable, making it fun! read more

The boba shop offers quite a few kid-friendly (non-caffeine) fruity drinks. The boba drinks were all good, and you can customize your sugar level. It's a really cute boba shop. You can get some cute instagram pics here. They have different kinds of milk if you're lactose. I ordered the taro slushy w boba and they forgot to put boba in there. They were really fast to correct it and add it in. But honestly it's taste like every other boba place so nothing special. The claw machines is in the back room. They have a lot of different options of stuffed animals and keychains. Each of them runs from 1-3 coins. We spent over $50 for 5 stuffed animals so I think it's worth it. Came here for the claw machine only and not the boba but walked away with a lot! The claw machines in the back had a good variety of actual quality stuffed animals and my favorite was from the Line friends series. They also have a lot of pokemon and sanrio themed toys. The good- very cute decor and great idea The yummy- the boba is fine, not the best I've had but still good (overpriced for the quality) The bad- The staff is very rude and short. I asked if the thai tea was creamy as it normally will be a milkier thicker drink and the response was very rude and sarcastic and I was told "well it's a liquid". The claw machines are average priced with it being $5=6 tokens and so on. The machines themselves take 2-3 tokens for stuffed animals and 1 for keychains and are an average level of difficulty. The machines are sensitive to tap so if you accidently tap you loose your coins because the machine claw drops and goes back up without opening . I asked about this as I assumed it was an error that would be made correct but was basically shown it was my fault for accident double clicking and just lost out on the coins. I wish the service was better but unfortunately I won't be back after this experience. read more

Went with my kids. Couldn't find the open hours online anywhere so we winged it. I was so excited to find it open that I forgot to check the blues, and it's a bit of a drive for us, so if you go and see the hours would you mind posting them? The claw games were a good balance of fun and reward. I would say there's like a 1 in 5 or 1 in 7 probability of winning, so be ready to spend at least $5 for the tokens! This place is very cute and aesthetic, I'll give it that. That's about all it's got going for it though. The drinks are pretty standard ($6-7ish) for a large and nothing special. If anything I would pick Ding Tea or one of the other chains as the drink was very mid. I went with a friend and we spent $10 on about 12 (I don't remember the exact amount) tokens. Each machine was about 2-3 tokens to play minus the tiny keychain machines were 1 token. Every claw was extremely rigged (no grip, doesn't fully close, etc) and we walked away with nothing. Pretty disappointed as $10 isn't a cheap amount, we bought in the mid tier section for token prices. read more

I've been here a few times since they opened and they definitely have made it harder to win prizes on the claw machines since opening. That being said there aren't too many claw machines places besides Round One so it might be worth a try, but would not expect to win more than 1 not so great quality plushie for $20. I had heard of this place through social media and my spouse had mentioned it. I figured it would be a pretty cool place to venture off to because I have been itching for a claw machine place and another source of boba tea for my addiction. Upon entering, I am impressed on how clean and organized it is inside the establishment. I would say that it is definitely photo taking worthy. Walking around the claw machines, you are definitely taken aback on how many they have despite how small the place looks from the outside. Experience-wise, I was not very impressed for a couple reasons. First off, when I ordered my boba, I was charged an extra dollar in comparison to the menu. Perhaps it was because I had wanted to add boba pearls to the drink but upon inspection of the receipt - nothing, just a price difference from what the menu on the board shows. The boba pearls were definitely a lot HARDER and required my entire car ride (about 30 minutes) back home to finally soften up. The beverage aside from that was pretty spot on. Now onto the main reason why I was there - the claw machines! Definitely weaker claw strength. Yeah this may be a sorry excuse, but I had a few definite grabs but it wouldn't even grasp the plush. Some other claw machines, I simply had the claws nose-dive into the back shelf and not even have a chance of winning. Giving the rating as is because of the price discrepancy, boba pearls being rock hard, and claw machine being a bit lack luster. Went to a soft opening at @clawboba Very cool concept. Boba tea & claw machines. Giving honest review with lots of love! Aesthetically speaking, it was sooo cute. Drinks were not the best. We ordered their Taro milkshake with coconut milk & boba. It was honestly not the best boba tea we've ever tasted. It was blended without ice and felt like they blended oatmeal and dumped stevia in there and added boba. Worst texture ever. I couldn't even sip it on the 3rd try without gagging. That texture was traumatizing coming from a huge straw, lol. They kindly gave me a new drink when I told them and they were apologetic about us not liking it. I ordered their Passion Fruit Tea with Boba. That was way better and I was able to finish the whole thing but was still veryyyy sweet. Now, for the machines. I spent eleven dollars on machines and did not win one plushy. 1 token = $1 so you have perspective. That means I tried eleven times & that's that the claw grabbed a plushy every time but kept dropping it. I get the whole claw machine scheme but when you're spending money on drinks also, these machines need to be a bit easier with winning prizes. Also, the plushies were kid friendly only. It was all kiddie plushies and no anime or anything for adults. I was okay with the selection but would have liked a wider variety of plushies/ keychain options. My partner was not interested in any of the plushies. He said he would have enjoyed the experience if they had anime characters in the claw machines. This seems more like a kid environment and not for all ages. Sure, parents would enjoy a drink and the aesthetic, but other than that's there's not much for adults to do here, unless they geek over kid plushies.
