Chicken, Yucca, Rice/Beans, Creamed Spinach, Plantain, Onion Tomato Salad.

Daughter and I stopped by for dinner. Chicken is perfectly marinated, and seasoned well. Very tasty. Nothing fancy, food is served in Styrofoam containers. Tables for diners. Good food!!

One of the best Peruvian style rotisserie restaurants in the area, in my opinion. The chicken is flavorful, great seasonings and a delicate smoky/grilled flavor. The meat is not dry, nice and moist. The yucca fries are always really good. They have a wide selection of sides like red or black beans, white rice or fried rice, french fries or fried yucca, red onion and tomato salad and a spicier red onion and tomoto salad. They serve tacos and a wide range of other items. I mainly go for the Peruvian rotisserie chicken. The portions to go are really large, they don't skimp! They are handling the whole covid thing very well. There are shields up over the entire length of the food counters and staff are wearing masks. The only surface you touch is the door and the pen if you're paying debit. They have outdoor seating as well while respecting social distancing and you can pick up your order curbside. I felt at ease while inside ordering my food for take-out. Very polite customer service and delicious food.

    Pollo Saltado with two sides

Stuck in a hotel all the way out in Carlyle, Alexandria with no car and not enough fortitude to tough the winter cold, I decided to check out the choices on Uber Eats and found this place. Admittedly, the lack of photos and reviews made me a little nervous but my dinner turned out to be quite good. The pollo saltado stir fry is served with your choice of two sides from a pretty decent list of options. I went for the white rice (the Peruvian version is so tasty) and tostones. Unfortunately, I ended up with a serving of fries instead -- an unfixable problem when you've had your food delivered. Oh well. So, potato overload aside, I was happy with my meal. Prices might run a little higher than for other Peruvian places in the DMV but the servings were also extra enormous. Try the crema volteada for dessert if you like flan. Their version was dense and tasty. A nice way to end my meal.

This is constantly my go-to for Peruvian chicken in the area, as it is great customer service and also great portions for the money. My boyfriend and I go here on random days of the week and we've never had a bad experience here. Their portions are extremely plentiful and delicious.

Has to be the rudest people in the world. They make you feel small when you're asking general questions for their overpriced food.

Disgusted--ordered food from this location via Uber Eats. Opened the sauce to find a black hair in it! Also, ordered the family meal which was supposed to come with drinks and did not.

Unfortunately, it was nothing like what we expected, and the food was extremely disappointing. Then I found out the owner is Bolivian not even Argentinian. The chimichurri was red and had a very different taste than what we expected. The green hot sauce was basically like eating raw jalapeño--extremely overpowering. The mashed potatoes were watery and very salty, and the broccoli was literally sitting in so much water that almost half of the bowl was full of it. The rice tasted like microwave rice, and the French fries were just ordinary fries. The biggest disappointment was the meat. It was extremely fatty, chewy, and had almost no flavor. The chicken was overcooked and tasted like leftovers that had been reheated. For an Argentinian restaurant, the quality and preparation of the meat should be one of the highlights, but unfortunately, it was the complete opposite. Honestly, we could barely eat our food and ended up leaving most of it. What made the experience even worse was that, despite barely being able to eat the food, we were still charged half of the meal. The total bill was over $85, and that included $5 for a small cup of what tasted like microwave rice. Just in case the food looks half-empty in the pictures, we did put some of the food onto our plates to try it. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat it, so that's why some of the containers look partially empty. As someone who was genuinely looking forward to trying Argentinian food, this experience was incredibly disappointing. In my opinion, this restaurant does not represent the quality or flavors that people expect from Argentinian cuisine. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant, and I would not return.

It's ground‑level from the parking lot, so no climbing Mount Everest just to get a taco. The parking lot is small, but they do have handicap spots, so points for accessibility. There are large menu screens everywhere, and if you've aged like a fine bottle of wine (or just drink a lot of it), you'll appreciate how big and easy to read they are. They also have a couple of handheld menus at the counter. Seating is minimal with metal tables and chairs, so if you're a diva, bring your donut cushion. I ordered the Carnitas and pork belly, both sold as sides. The pork belly sits under a warmer at the counter, daring you to stay committed to that Weight Watchers plan. It's sold by the pound, and my piece came to $4.80. I almost put it back, but I'm pretty sure there's an unwritten rule about not returning food you've already mentally claimed. Even the cashier said, "Oof, that's pricey," but listen I liked it, and I'd pay it again. The half‑pound Carnitas for $7.99 were delicious and worth every penny. My foodie partner ordered the fried chicken plate. Medium comes with fries; large comes with rice and salad. I tasted her large plate the seasoning was on point, the chicken leaned toward being a little dry, but not enough to stop me from wanting to shake those tail feathers. You order at the counter, they call your name, and voilà food in hand. Service was quick and easy and served with a smile. Overall, I'd definitely come back.

I walked into this deli/convenience store/restaurant midday on a Friday. It's brightly lit and there is Latin music coming through the speakers at a reasonable volume. You order at the counter and bring your food back to one of their 15 or so tables. There's monitors with pics of the menu items for the Latin dishes-- helpful. I ordered the fried chicken plate (beans and rice and salad with three pieces of raw chicken). That chicken was so tasty! There were no beans, but there was a gravy that they served with it that made me not need the beans. The portion sizes are pretty big- more than I can eat at a setting. My sister got the Carnitas plate. She said they were tender and good. The media Libra doesn't come with sides. There's pay-by-the-piece pork belly warming in a container when you go to the counter-- she said her piece was good. There is some parking , but there's not much of it due to the size of the strip mall where it's located.

Although our server said that the brisket is popular and highly recommended, I thought it was chewy, hard, and the barbecue sauce wasn't anything memorable. It didn't really stand out and I have definitely had better brisket at Mission BBQ. My friend or mofongo, brussel sprouts, and Ropa Vieja. Give the plantain quesadilla a try--it's surprisingly delicious and addictive! The servers are always excellent, although the younger staff that bus the tables can be a little shy. Waters are kept topped up, and they will ask if you want more chips when your food arrives. Of all the times I've been to Los Tios, I think I've eaten in the dining room twice. The patio setup is excellent, and with a heated tent setup in the winter time, we can eat comfortably alfresco year-round. But maybe they were having a lot of problems that day. First, the salsa con queso was very runny, and had a strange taste. The salsa was also very liquid so maybe it's just badly blended together, but was hoping for something a little more.. The chips were good. They are thin, and they brought plenty of them. Tacos were pretty good, the fish had a unique taste that I couldn't place. Just.. strange in that way that wasn't exactly bad, but I didn't get the best feeling. The Chorizo taco was much better. Unfortunately I was disappointed by how expensive it was for what amounts to Costco ingredients. I lament not paying more attention in high school Spanish because of the three people serving us, only one spoke English, and that made it tough to ask any questions about the food. They give you a receipt with a QR code requiring you to use Toast to pay, which conveniently downloads a temporary app to your phone WITHOUT ASKING. That wasn't cool... Not at all. Overall it .. wasn't great. I LOVE TexMex food but this was mediocre, service mediocre, difficulty being understood and ordering, runny queso, strange fish, and expensive for what I could have gotten at Taco Bell for less.
