This restaurant is absolutely amazing, so clean and the food smells amazing as you go in. Dilcia waited on me and my family wanted a big to-go order. They had one last Peruvian chicken and my daughter and her boyfriend were so happy. Everything was seasoned perfectly and fresh. Quick and satisfying Columbian and Peruvian food. Not to miss is their Peruvian styled chicken. The 1/2 chicken was a large serving. The white meat was moist. Come for the empanadas. There are several versions. We tried the Peruvian chicken empanada which was nicely seasoned. Our favorite. The Columbian beef had diced potatoes. The cheese would be the favorite of all who like fried cheese appetizer. I would not recommend the pupusa; however, the traditional slaw served on the side was good. I had always associated pupusa with El Salvador where it is the national dish but thanks to Google discovered it is also enjoyed in an area of Columbia. I also ordered a chicken empanada, which was filled with a lot of chicken instead of other fillers which was excellent, but the taste was just okay. Main issue was I ordered the meat rare and got well done. Order arrived with is the time specified. I'd like to try more dishes at this restaurant as most of it was very tasty. They had all the sauces and they were all good but the green sauce, which is normally spicy, was not that spicy. Overall, I recommend this place and plan on updating my review once I try more dishes. I am OBSESSED with this spot. In Charlotte, NC we have this Peruvian fast casual spot called Viva Chicken. It's my favorite fast casual spot in the area. I was SO happy to see this recommendation on Yelp. They are very similar concepts, but still bring their own unique items. I always go with Lunch Combo #1. It's chicken with yuca fries, a drink, and a side salad. (Their ranch MUST be homemade. It's amazing.) You get little dipping sauces to go with the chicken and yuca too. I honestly couldn't get enough. The portions are very fair. Each time I've gotten almost a whole breast with high quality white meat. The skin is perfectly seasoned. The yuca fries don't do too great if they get cold, and I've had a little trouble reheating them, so truly, get them while they're hot. I also recently tried one of their flans from the to-go case. Fast causal place that's a must try! This is my usual post barber dinner spot and I really enjoy it. What a bargain for the amount of food you get! I ordered the chicken entree- quarter chicken with two sides and a bottled water - all for $8.99. You can't beat that. The chicken is super tasty - well done! And the three sauces they include go so well with the meal. My only complaint is the tostones seem a little over cooked and no longer golden crisp as I've had before. But I ate them nonetheless and we're good. I'm surprised this place isn't busier and always full. I see a lot of people come in and out for take out but not too many folks on dine in. My coworkers and I are a fan of this place! They specialize in Salvadoran and Peruvian food and they do it very well. The prices are very reasonable and they deliver!
