This my second time trying this place out. First time I've tried out their half chicken combo with fried rice. The chicken was very flavorful and moist. The fried rice was okay, I may have to try it again next time I go there. This time I got the same combo but with their onion and tomato salad and pasta salad. The same but something different. A consistently good restaurant. Simple, delicious food with fast service. The rotisserie chicken is always perfect and is an easy family/group pleaser. Add some rice and other sides and you have a healthy, cheap meal that tastes really good. Personally the chicken, rice, and tomato onion salad is my go-to. I have been driving by the window front of this place for what feels like FOREVER waiting for their grand opening. I actually missed it being though I was driving by today and saw it jam packed and said to my husband "omg it's open!" So, naturally, we had to go in. We ordered the quarter white chicken (2), cilantro rice, chicken fried rice, green beans, platanos (plantains), red beans and fried yucca. There was absolutely nothing that we had that disappointed. NOTHING. Everything is so perfectly seasoned and I've lived in both Brooklyn NYC & Miami, FL so I feel like I know pretty good Peruvian style food. The chicken, despite being white meat, was so flavorful even by itself but make sure to grab some of that yellow and green hot sauce as it makes it even tastier. (I like to dip my platanos in the yellow sauce too). The cilantro rice was seasoned amazing. Not too strong as cilantro can be but def enough to tell its cilantro. The green beans were cooked right but, if I had to say one negative thing it would be that the greens are just a tad bit bland when compared to how flavorful everything else is. Nothing a sprinkle of seasoned salt couldn't handle. The platanos are exactly how they should be cooked, not too hard but not too mushy. Very moist & sweet/ ripe. The yucca was a little dry but I think that's Bc (like the fries) they are kept warm under a lamp so that's naturally going to happen. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I felt welcomed despite how crazy busy they were (went on a Sunday afternoon) and let me give a pause to make mention of the portion sizes... THESE FOLKS ARE NOT STINGY AT ALL!! Honestly Idk how they're going to keep up with the sizes they give and still make a margin of profit. It's seriously THAT much food. To make it even clearer ... I was able to take my food and a little of my husbands and make 3 nice size dinner plates for my 3 kids and STILL have a considerable amount left over for myself to enjoy. I wish I would have taken a pic for reference but I was too busy indulging lol. Oh and the red beans -- reminded me of my Puerto Rican's god mother's back in the day. Some of the best I ever had. This place was definitely worth the wait and then some. I can't wait to go through the menu. They also have horchata, flan and tres leches on their menu. RIP to my friggin waistline! read more

My husband ordered a whole chicken with fries and plantains. Chicken is always decent, never had an issue here but the sides are always a hit or miss. This is probably second or third time I have ordered plantains and it's always overcooked. Unfortunately, the plantains this time were burned completely, inedible. I can't believe someone would put burn plantains for a customer. Recommendation: if you are ordering takeout, you must inspect your food before you go. I would return at this location because I rather eat this than fast food, but I will make sure I check the food before I leave the restaurant. read more

A friend recommended me this place and swore by it. I was excited to try it. After tasting the food, I was not impressed at all. The charcoal chicken was overly seasoned, extremely salty and burnt. I know what charcoal chicken taste and looks like, and this was nothing to my expectation. The fried rice tasted old like it was leftovers from a few days. The Yuca fries wasn't impressive. I had better trust me. The employees should be more welcoming when you walk in. They should say, hello and welcome with a smile, etc. You walk in and everyone is stone face. There's a sign where it reads "order here" and you go down the counter line picking your sides until you reach the end of the counter where it reads "pay here". The young female employee behind the counter had an attitude like she didn't want to be there. She couldn't be bothered when you spoke to her. The male employee saw this, and he immediately took over. The menu is a big yellow posted on the front wall above the counters. You cannot miss it. The menu is basic and straight forward with price amount. The tables and chairs are on the side of the room. The place is clean. Overall, it's an okay place, but not for me. In order to give my friend a second chance since I was asked to do that, I will go back and order something different from their menu. read more

The manager is always helping his staff and is super friendly. The food... BEST CHICKEN IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE... and it's not even close. We used to go to the Fredericksburg location and was very excited to see that a location in stafford was opening up, being that it is so much closer to me and I do not need to make a long trip anymore. This place was worth the anticipation of opening day!! Fastest new business I've ever experienced, and the food is great!! Chicken is obviously a hit, but sides are plentiful and tasty! They have a large array of sides, so I haven't gotten through them all, but the pasta salad is a must try. So far, chicken fried rice, cilantro rice, yucca fries, and steak fries have been great.
