I decided to try out a different ice cream spot than my usual place and noticed Super Scoops was relatively close. The location is connected to some other shops, and I was able to get a spot without issue in the early afternoon. The storefront is small, and you order at the window, and there are several "CASH ONLY" signs displayed. Ironically enough, they have QR codes printed on their cups, but can't do non-cash transactions. I decided to get a cup of pistachio and cherry vanilla as these are my measurements to see if an ice cream shop is worthy of a return visit. They have a wide selection of flavors which is nice, with some pretty cool ones like pumpkin and snickers, although some of their new flavors like "Cookie Monster" can be found everywhere else. I asked them what their most popular flavor was, expecting to find their special flavor, but the answer was vanilla. Other than that, my scoop was handed to me nearly fallinf off the cone, it was much smaller than my friend's, and my cone broke. Best ice cream and frozen treats in the area! We wait all winter for them to reopen and come as often as possible in the warm weather to get our fix. The dipped waffle cones are the best, try the fruity pebbles. Their hard ice cream is so creamy and delicious, not overly sweet and never freezer burned. There was also a good selection of fun cones and toppings. I settled on a small butterfinger and it was creamy with huge chunks of the candy bar poking out of the delicious ice cream. So why the 3 stars? Well, the girl helping us kindly rolled her eyes every time we asked for a sample and was less than friendly or helpful in explaining sizes, etc. I visited Super Scoops with a large part and none of us had been there before. Super scoops lives up to its name by giving gigantic sized super scoops. If you can somehow control yourself to getting only one scoop out of their ice cream flavor arsenal, kudos to you. I got one scoop of almond joy and one scoop of coffee in a rice Krispy treat waffle cone. The gf had more discipline and got one scoop of strawberry in a pebble fruit waffle cone. They have so many cool waffle cones that add to the eating experience. They also have many cool flavors like almond joy which I love, cotton candy, Cookie Monster, etc. Most of the people who came in were getting soft serves so I'll have to come back and try it some other time. read more

Visited this past weekend. They have a wide variety of flavors, made fresh daily. The ice cream is cold stone creamery style, with toppings mixed into a base. We tried Cookie Monster, pineapple cheesecake, and Almond Joy. Each flavor was smooth and creamy; the toppings were plentiful and delicious. I enjoyed each one but surprisingly, I gravitated most towards Cookie Monster. Don't be shocked by it's alarming blue shade--it's milky and scrumptious with its little cookie bits. He had a small cup of watermelon ice. Texture and taste - fantastic! As a moderate ice cream eater he didn't finish so child size would have worked. We dropped his first ice face down on the floor but no line so ordering another was quick (add $4). Husband had a small cup of rum raisin. For $1 more had it turned into a sundae w/ peach topping, whipped cream and a cherry. I wanted a small w/ 2 flavors but that requires upsize to medium so I switched to butterfinger blast in a choc dipped sprinkles covered waffle cone. The ice-cream was creamy but seemed to have chunks of real peanut butter in it. I prefer the candy bar alone but others may like the added peanut butter. The cone was fresh - tasted great! It's natural sugar, but the flavor ends up tasting partly like sugar instead of like what the flavor is supposed to be.
