Unfortunately, after going without AC and being desperate, I felt I had no choice but to allow the work to continue. I now regret not stopping the installation. As shown in the photos, the finish trim leading to my attic was left extremely sloppy and unprofessional, with original trim lines clearly visible. I contacted the owner three separate times after installation regarding this issue. Each time, I was told to "get with his son." My response was no, if the work wasn't done correctly the first time, I did not want him returning to fix it. In the photos, you can see where the attic cover and trim fell at 2 a.m., causing us to jump out of our sleep. This happened directly in front of my child's room, which is extremely concerning. As shown, nails were left sticking up, and this easily could have caused serious injury. This was the result of sloppy, unprofessional workmanship following the AC installation. The safety risk alone makes this unacceptable. Since the installation, my attic light no longer works. After repeated attempts to reach the owner, my calls were no longer answered, and instead a random "repairman" contacted me offering to fix the drywall and install a new attic cover.
