I would not recommend going to this car wash as they will ignore you after they damage your car. The car wash ripped my cross bar and roof-mounted bike rack off of my car, dented and scratched the roof of my vehicle, and I was stuck for 15 minutes inside the wash. The manager took a report, said they made a mistake and would refund my car wash and pay for my vehicle repairs. Neither happened, and after multiple attempts to contact corporate and visit the store manager who was not available when I went by the store, I then filed this on my insurance and am out of pocket my deductible and replacement of bike rack. Later the car wash did finally contact me after two weeks. After corresponding for several weeks they now tell me my claim is denied because of my roof mounted bike rack. For background information I have been going to a competitor for over 5 years twice weekly with this vehicle and roof rack and have used other car washes without incident but they are using this excuse to not pay for their faulty equipment. Stay far away from this car wash because if they damage your vehicle they will give you the run around and not pay a cent for their faulty equipment. Terrible business practices. read more

I have been trying to cancel a monthly membership here for over 6 months. I've gotten multiple email confirmations that the membership has cancelled but the charges keep appearing on my statement. I have used the online customer service portal multiple times but I am not getting responses and need to get reimbursed for all the months after the confirmed cancellation email. DO NOT GO HERE. I canceled my monthly membership today, they have never addressed any of these problems. The vacuums are all as weak, staff cars ate parked in vacuum bays. Tire shines hit or miss. Sometimes they have towels sometimes not, all is a bunch of employees just standing around. How hard would it be to check the vacuums and make sure there's towels out And it's overpriced I had great results with the car wash years ago, but I guess when they were bought out, it's just gone downhill. Plus, there's a brand new car wash at Garland Road in PV and I just went through their machine and it's awesome, the vacuums have great suction I would've stayed with this car wash, but they never do anything to resolve. read more

I've been dooped....don't be like me. @ Super Star Car Wash off northwest highway and garland road in E Dallas. I'm a monthly member at the highest level $25-30 a month....have been at this level for over a year. I used to feel like this was a good value when I signed up over a year ago if I could get in once and certainly twice a month, but as of today - 10.15.24, I would tell you that this is certainly not worth it...wouldn't even sign up for anything recurring at this location. I have been observing that things are not running well for the last 8 months at least. 1. The clean towels were a really nice touch when this service was added, BUT now it's hit or miss when you show up as to will there be fresh towels or not, today at 10am there were no drying towels available at any of the stations. 2. Many times I have to park and then move my car to a different vacuum station because they just don't work or the suction is very low...it's completely hit or miss 3. They advertise free air, but none of the air stations have worked for over 8 months. This place could be a great self care wash in E Dallas and I was excited when it opened up and even when the management changed to Super Star Carwash because they added some extra features such as the towels, cleaning spray (also this went MIA) and air, but everything is literally falling apart, nothing ever works and no one seems to care. I can only assume that good, hard working local and regional management that would have some pride in running a business well either isn't involved or just doesn't care about this location. It appears this place is being run by folks that have zero pride in their jobs and are just collecting an hourly wage by doing the absolute minimum. Will cancel my monthly membership end of October if there aren't significant changes over the next two weeks. Maybe someone at SuperStar will see this and actually care enough to put in the necessary improvements to make this a great neighborhood car wash again...if not, we are going to have another vacant lot on northwest highway, bc people won't (nor should they) pay for bad service and a broken down business. I would give it -100 stars if possible. I went here for car wash in December, right before Christmas. I noticed that prices tripled and was told that the previous owner sold to Superstar Car Wash company. I went for a one time wash. A month later, I see a charge on my credit card that showed I had been enrolled in their monthly subscription plan. I did not ask for it, I did not approve it, I did not authorize it. For the next week I tried everything under the sun to cancel the subscription. Nothing worked. I went back to the location and spoke to the manager, who wrote a letter to corporate HQ but the email address he used was no longer monitored. When I found out, I contacted the manager again but he stopped responding to me. I was directed to a website to fill out a form, which I did several times. Each time the message said my account could not be found. There is no link to create an account. I tried "manage subscription" and that form did not allow me to submit for some strange reason. I called the phone number on their website during their working hours and nobody answered. So, I tried to resolve the problem in person, I emailed, I filled out online forms, and I called, and I could not get through to anyone to cancel the subscription that I did not ask for and did not authorize. I finally called my credit card company and it agreed to block any future payments to this horrible, dishonest company. Needless to say, I am never going back. read more

I went here as this was close to Sam's Club. Unfortunately the entrance to the car wash is very confusing as they have yellow cones right in front of you and I thought they blocked the entrance. Anyways I did a U turn and then I saw how the car enter the entrance. I wish they had a sign to say please enter here as I did not see the gap and saw the cones. Anyways they have car washes that ranges from $7 to $19 dollars. I did the $12 dollar wash. Overall, it was in and out the the guy help me scan my credit card and I was into the wash. It was fast and at the very end you can use their vacuums. Some of their vacuums can be defective as they offer low suction, but I finally found one. I probably would come here if I was around this Sam's Club again. read more

They never have clean towels, their vacuums work only half the time, my car comes out as dirty as it went in half the time, sometimes there is sticky blue rinse all over my car when it comes out and also... I've had a membership at 25.00 a month for well over a year.... My debit card number was stolen and I forgot to update my new card with every one of my recurring bills that I have - car wash being one of them. As I was in neutral going through the car wash, my car collided with the SUV in front of me. No explanation as to how this can happen. I was at the point with the washers hanging down and couldn't see anything in front of me to know if was about to happen. I've tried contacting the company but no resolution. Do not go here!! On Nov. 11,2024 went here again and this is what I encountered. I was forced to pay for a wash due to it being the wrong wash. I asked the attendant if the wash that 16.00 offer manual tire shine. He said no, the machine does it. I told him that my husband say no and he then continued to push the wash that was 16.00 anyway. I told him I did not want that wash and he apologize so ask for manager Tony and the guy said the he was not there at the time. I then turned the corner to enter the tunnel and manager Tony was right there using the hose. I explained to him what happened at the pay station and attempted to hand him my card and receipt he said he only needed the receipt only. I gave him it and it put it in his back pocket. I texted him later to see why i had not seen the refund and I was told that he could not do a refund because it was in the system still. I told him that I would just settle for a couple more washes meaning 2 because my normal wash is the $7.00. He said ok that would be fine. Today November 23, 2024 I went back for the wash that manager Tony and I spoke of and was told he no longer worked there. So I then asked for the new GM Tanner who immediately approached the vehicle rude and irate. He yelling "no no we're not doing any of that" your not getting anything for free girl and if you don't move this car I'll have it towed " Wow I told him I am a woman not a girl and I demand respect from a manager to a customer. I began to record and when he knew it he changed his demeanor and put on an act of calmness. I tried to explain and he would not listen spoke over me and told me to leave the primise before he called the police. I told him that it would be fine and that I would be glad to wait and get a report for this event. Another manager drove up got out of the car and asked me to leave. I tried to explain to him and he was not help and spoke as though I had committed a crime and that he was asking me to leave NOW! I told him I am waiting for the police. When that police arrived they spoke to the GM Tanner then to me. I was issued a criminal trespassing as well as a report number for trying to get something that was clearly owed to me. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS LOCATION. I had damages done to my vehicle here this sumet and I still chose to support this business and look at the thanks I received by being a loyal customer. This is the worst drive thru car wash I have even gone through. $18 to wet my car. And then 30 plus minutes hand scrubbing the dirt off myself. Thank goodness they have a stack of clean wet towels so can scrub your own car. That was the highlight. You'd be best paying for the very cheapest "car wet" they offer and then be prepared to pull over and clean it by hand. Whew! I had no idea I'd be doing my own hand wash today! Haven't done that since I was a kid! Definitely don't pay for anything over the cheapest "wet." Because it's NOT a wash. read more

Sooooo let me tell you about this place... I came because I parked under a tree and what is in trees birds. Had bird crap all over my car, so I'm like yes getting it cleaned off. So we came here. I spent the $15 dollar wash for more cleaning. We're talking about bird poop. Ewwww! NOW the person in the car in front of me is clearly not smart at all. She must've put her car in drive and got stuck on top of the equipment. So I'm in the middle of the tunnel behind her. The guy comes inside and said what happened and said you're going to have to wait. I'm like okay well 20 min goes by and I'm still waiting middle car in the tunnel. Lol funny right. So he comes back and he's like I'm sorry. So the reason I'm giving him 4 stars was because he kept coming back and he gave me 5 free rewashes for my time I had to just sit there and wait. Now it is dirty, trash every where and the salespeople are pushy about signing up for a membership, the vaccums do not work even though they advertise great free vaccums and there are never any towels. I received a free car wash for the new super star car wash in Gun Barrel City. as I was going through the car was I noticed the brushes were barely touching my pickup, and the brush that washes the windshield did not touch my windshield. when I left I got out to discover my pickup was still dirty. I was stunned that people actually pay a membership fee for such an awful car wash. I could just gotten my water hose and done a better job. Had a great experience his weekend at the Superstar car wash. I've been using this car wash for years when I come in from out of town. It appears to be under new ownership now. I was having trouble with my card at the entrance and Tim promptly attended me and opened the gate for me with an upgrade! The wash was good and I especially enjoyed the vacuum area with powerful machines and ample clean microfiber towels for customers to use. Area appeared clean and maintained. I went to use the car wash on January 22nd, 2023. There was an attendee blocking the card machine asking me what service I want. I specifically stated I want the cheapest car wash which their sign listed as something like $5. He took my card ran it gave it back to me. I went through the wash. A few weeks later my card shows a charge for $10 on January 24, 2023 as well as a pending charge for $19.95 on Feb 24, 2023. I haven't been back to this car wash since and don't even live in this city anymore so don't know why I'd be charged again. Called the company, the woman I spoke to named Peddy was rude, never apologized for overcharging me, said their system doesn't go back far enough to refund the charge from 1 month ago and that I'd have to dispute it with my credit card company. Said they apparently enrolled me in some monthly plan that I never authorized. I said no, they need to see care of it and if she's unable to, she can connect me with someone who can. She said she's the only there who can that she will cancel the charge from my card and refund me the $19.95, but not the $10 because I received a service that day. I said I didn't request a $10 service and she rudely said I should have taken that up with the attendee at the time of service. I said I had no way of knowing he was overcharging me until my statement came in. She said I can speak to her manager but it will take 24-48hrs response time. I said I thought you were the only one I can speak to? She again very rudely said, no you asked to speak to the person in charge of this and that person is me. I said, no I asked to speak to whomever is above you. She kept arguing with me about that so I said I want to be transferred immediately to someone above her otherwise I would report the company for scamming employees and overcharging them She laughed then yelled, "go ahead!" & put me on hold for 15 minutes without saying what she was doing. When she came back to say her supervisor approved the refund, I asked for her name, and she went off on me telling me it's none of by business. I had to request it 6 times before she gave it to me and hung up on me while I was still speaking. I will never use this awful company again between them scamming, repeatedly lying, and their horrendous customer service. read more

I have been living in the area for 20 years, have switched many cars/trucks and even wives over the years but have remained forever loyal to Wave Wash. I was washing my vehicle and was approached by Juan Garcia. He approached me in a very professional and courteous manner and asked if the wash exceeded my expectations and asked if I was in need of anything else and was definitely focused on making sure the other customers were taken care of as well! Negative stars!!!!!! I went in July 2022 for a basic car wash and an attendee told me that they got bought out and were giving away free car washes for a month. I was skeptical but he said it was a promotion from the new owners. I gave him my card cuz he said I still had to pay for that days carwash. He asked for my email and I gave it to give thinking it was just to be signed up for coupons. I didn't even go back until October (I'm not consistent in car washes). Anyway, I didn't realize that the guy signed me up for a monthly carwash membership! I didn't realize it cuz I used a credit card and I paid it off in December and I got a charge notification from them. I had no idea since I hadn't been paying close attention to my monthly statements but they had been charging me 27.95 from July-December. I placed a dispute through my credit card company but the carwash company said I signed up for it. I DID NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP!!! They are thieves at this location. I used to go here before with no issues but who ever took over are thieves!! Now I'm seeing these reviews and see that they're doing it to other people as well!!!! Horrible place!!!!
