I have been a very loyal customer to this car wash for 10 years. My husband and I in that time have driven 4 vehicles and taken them all to this location. I will be happy to take my loyalties over to the 99th ave and McDowell location. Running errands with my daughter on Saturday morning when we stopped by to get the quick 7 dollar express wash. The young man who was directing the cars as they come in handed me the little wipe and air freshener I turn to put it down on my passenger seat. As I turned and went to roll up my window the young man had sprayed me and my daughter in the face. I gave him a look and was unable to get out of my car then but as soon as my wash was finished I went inside to complain. I went to the desk and demanded to speak with a manager but was met with "they aren't here." I will never come to this location again. read more

It has been one week since we last stopped in and we still have not received a call from the manager. Gabe says he would have the manager give us a call tomorrow and here we are a week later with still no call. Gabe still claims we are at fault. He claims my husband purposely put the van on reverse while in the car wash. Who in their right mind will do this? He will not listen to our side of the story. He only hears what he wants to hear in order remove liability from them. He states that since my husband put the car on reverse, they are no longer liable. Here's the story: THE BRUSHES PUSHED our van backwards! We did NOT simply but our car in reverse. That's what caused all the damage. We put our vehicle on reverse after the fact in order to untangle our car from the brushes. The attendants tried to manually remove the brushes but weren't able to so they asked us to go on reverse and forward multiple times in order to remove the brushes. We will not simply go away by having you guys ignore us. We are documenting every interaction with your staff and we have the video of the incident. Had to give at least one star but I have to say this was my first time here, seems more pricey than other places. I paid for the 15 dollar express which is the highest tier for self vacuuming... It was the shortest wash I've been through, my Windows and car still had stuff stuck on it like it had never been cleaned, I didn't get a rag to wipe down the inside like other places generally give you with the highest wash. I'll drive the extra few miles to get a better wash... My car doesn't look much better definitely not my windshield, I have to go home to clean the crap off. I went to get my truck washed and I mentioned to the guys that the inside of the car was still dirty, before I could finish the guy responded "you get what you paid for" I then looked for someone else and asked for the supervisor, the guy tells me , "it's me, what your issue" REALLY??? That's how they want to treat customers? Just left this car wash with a dirty car after not receiving any help. I purchased a buy two car wash special and was retuning for my second wash. Scanned coupon on receipt and screen said "please wait" waiting for about two minutes and screen returned to main screen but was frozen. I backed out and entered second express lane. When I scanned the coupon it stated that the code has already been used. No attendant was around so I exited my vehicle and asked an employee for help. He told me I had to go find somebody else to help me and walked away. Poor customer service and will not be returning. read more

Had the worst experience yesterday. I pulled up and two guys came over. I have the monthly package and I asked if I could pay extra to have my seats shampooed. One gives me a ticket, it says "leather polish ", I just thought that what they called a shampoo because clearly I didn't have leather. Car comes out and they tell me it's done. I open the door, and no shampooed seats. It's was barely vacuumed. I told the guy that I paid extra for shampooed seats and show him my ticket. He says "you don't have leather" I said, I know I'm not sure why they put they but I did pay extra. He then pulls out my mats and starts cleaning them, then tells me my car is ready. Obviously no one was listening. I told him I never asked for my mats to be cleaned, it was the seats! He said "well you have to talk to the guys in the front and walked off" . Never tried to resolve my issue. Treated me like it was my fault. Horrible customer service. I tried calling the manager, left a message and never received a call back, and it was early in the day. Update; after the negative yelp review and complaint to the district office. I received a call a couple days later from Jimmy I'm assuming the head manager of this location, he apologized for my bad experience and asked that I would return with my car and give him an opportunity to make it right. I went back he washed my car and they kept it for 4-5 hrs to work on getting the stains out. Although the stains were not completely taken out they did diminish them quite a bit making them hard to notice unless u know they're there. Jimmy went above and beyond his A1 customer service is what I expected from day 1 I hope this company puts some trainings in place to the rest of their leadership to prevent situations like mine being mishandled. Jimmy was great, he was honest and very understanding, he even offered me a ride home so I wouldn't be waiting for so long with my broken leg (I live literally around the corner from the car wash) he even offered to pick me up. Because of Jimmy and the way he handled this for me I will continue to use this car wash now I've learned my lesson as well and know what not to do to minimize the risk of my car being ruined in any way! Went in a couple weeks ago for a quick wash and got the most expensive regular wash ($25-ish I think). They didn't have a ton of business so there's really no reason why the job was so shotty. It looked like they didn't bother to really vacuum and they left behind enough lint from their rags inside the car that it's debatable if it was dirtier than it was when we got there. They also slathered so much of the Armor All like product on the inside that we had to wipe some of it away because it was getting everywhere. They have a sign up asking you to discuss any issues with management instead of just posting on Yelp, but who wants to spend their time doing that? It's up to the business to do a good job without the customer having to then go complain when they don't and most people have places to be and go to a drive through car wash to get their car cleaned and go about their day. Looking at the other reviews, speaking to management also doesn't appear to accomplish much. I'd love to find a decent car wash in the valley but that seems to be nearly impossible. read more

I would not recommend this car wash to anyone, I took my truck in for the $40 dollar wash, & I bought their $130 wash as well, after that first wash I regretted buying the $130 wash, but since I had already bought I might as well just use it, only problem was that after 4-5 times I would try to drop it off they wouldn't take it in. I went in to request a refund and they told me they couldn't. to call corporate once I gave them a call they said they couldn't either that their general manager would give me a call the next day, once I got on the phone with him he put me on hold to call corporate and told me he couldn't refund me the money, stay away from this wash, really shady ‍ should've read the reviews before taking my cars there. I'm not worried about the money, they can keep the wash and the money, just shows how money hungry they are, they don't care about customer service just about taking your money. I came here and was automatically swarmed by the employees with their many attempts to upsale me. They finally got the hint when I told them I was firm on what I came for. They were very friendly and comical and I understand that trying to upsale me is a part of their job. However, I told them I was on a time limit and needed work done in a timely manner. All I needed was a standard interior cleaning. Seat floor headliner and pillars. Dave is the one that helped me throughout this visit. He said this job would take about an hour or 90 minutes at the most. This visit ended up being nearly 3 hours long and there were not a lot of cars ahead of me. It seemed as if the employees were playing and joking around a lot instead of focusing on the cars 100%. When I got my car back I noticed that the interior cleaning was not complete. They didn't touch the a pillar's at all or any of the headliner or visors. I brought it to their attention and they said that they do not clean that part of the car. He never explained why they skip that part of the interior cleaning but it did not make sense at all. Very upset. However, the rest of the car was immaculate. They did a great job on the parts of the interior that they actually cleaned. read more

On 10/10/15 at approx 12pm in the afternoon I took my 2014 Jeep Wrangler into Superstar carwash for a wash. Upon arrival I was told I can be upgraded to another carwash for only a few dollars more, so I agreed to exit my vehicle to let them perform this service. Before exiting my Jeep I advised the service clerk that since this a Jeep Wrangler with a "T-Top" they are prone to small leaks when put through a power wash; I then advised him and his manager that I had placed a small towel over my stereo and they were NOT to move or remove it due to the possibility of water dripping into the dash subsequently into the double din stereo. Manager quickly looked at it and said "no problem". My vehicle was then taken through the car wash while went and sat inside the building, a few minutes later I noticed my jeep come through and taken to the detailing area where two workers began the process of detailing the inside. Approximately 15 minutes later I was told my Jeep was ready for pick up and immediately noticed the towel had been removed and water was dripping into the dash/stereo area. I quickly wiped down the area, and noticed water had dripped on to the stereo area. Upon quick inspection everything seemed to be working properly until five minutes later when the screen started to go black and would no longer be responsive. I quickly brought it to the attention of the manager that ASSURED me the towel would not be moved. Upon inspection by the manager he agreed that he had told his staff NOT to move it however one of them must have and forgot to move it back leading to the water damage. We went inside the building where he wrote a report "which I have a copy of" where it confirms my wishes and his instructions to staff that were not followed leading to the damage. He then hands me his report which has a box checked "superstar denies responsibility"? I asked him how can you deny responsibility if you just wrote down that your instructions were not followed and this is what led to the damage? The manager responded with well "if it's over a dollar amount I have to check that". The manager gave me a phone number to the corporate office where I could call first thing Monday morning. As instructed I called Monday morning and left a message but did not get a call back until Thursday; however this was because I called again Wednesday asking why has there not been a call back. Thursday at approximately 4pm 10/15/2015 I received a call from a gentlemen named JR Ruelas. MR. Ruelas advised me that he spoke with the manager at the car wash about the incident and quickly denied any responsibility on their end. I asked MR. Ruelas how can you deny responsibility if your employee did not follow instructions leading to damage? He said well you car was defective and there was nothing more he could do, never apologized or offered a solution. Needles to say I am completely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and accountability that has been displayed by this company. read more

I'd rather go to chevron drive through. Manager is clueless doesn't know anything about property damage for this business. We have been getting our cars washed here for about a 1.5 years. I am pretty disappointed they raised their prices (ok, maybe its not a "raise" but more of a consolidation of wash options making it more expensive to get the the same elements of a car wash while paying for elements I never wanted). That being said, its usually worth it got have them vacuum and towel dry your car every now and then with cheaper washes in between. I don't have kids or a pet, so I can't tell you if they do an okay vacuum job....once I still had hair on my floor mat..... Today I was there at 8:30 am on a Saturday and they were very busy. It must be a combination of the monsoons, dust storms, and the afternoon high temperatures that made them so busy. Even so, I driving away in about 15 minutes. If getting the air fragrance, I recommend asking them to go easy. On more than 1 occasion, I suffocated on the smell on the way home. read more

11/5/16 1:00 pm I just left the Super Star Car wash at 7830 W lower buckeye rd. Phoenix Az. Not happy with this car wash and its disrespect for their customers. When I drove up there was one pickup truck in one line and then there was two other lanes being blocked by one car in each lane, no cars in front of them. So I had to go in the lane that the pickup truck was in. witch by the way was not being vacuumed. The two cars that were blocking the other lanes there were employees standing around them and having a discussion. I waited about 15 minutes with the truck take was setting in my lane before anyone started to vacuum it, meanwhile the cars that were blocking the other lane decided to move a hand to the vacuum pumps, by that time there were two more cars behind them. All four cars when through and I still was waiting to get my car vacuumed. I left, I will not spend my money at this car wash or any other car wash that does not need the business. For what we pay to have our cars washed there is outrageous in the first place. And then on top of that to be disrespected this way. NO WAY. NO MORE OF THIS. I'm very disappointed with the quality of work on my truck detail. We pay big money in the respect that your vehicle will be spotless. I assumed the person who tried to upsale me was to blame. I opted out of the additional charges he offered because I already paid for services I wanted. After 3 hours, I was told it was ready. I showed up 20 mins after they called and it wasn't ready. Priscilla walked me to the garage to give my car back and there are 3 workers on break either eating or on their phones. So she told me go back in and wait. I waited about 25 minutes until she told me it's ready now. She again took me to the garage and the person who cleaned wasn't there. One of the workers said the key was inside and handed it to me so I just left without checking. When I got home is when I noticed the quality. They failed to clean the windows on the 3rd row, they failed to wipe down or vacuum or whatever in the glove compartment. The glove compartment is so sticky I had to wipe it down, the doors were also sticky, the carpets looks like they just threw water and not shampooed it because its still stained & smelled lastly the mats weren't cleaned. You've lost my business because of the convenience of being so close to home, it's the worse service. I'll drive further for better service and quality. Got the ultra car wash like I normally do at the 99th location and I ended up vacuuming my own car again because they did such a half ass job then had to wipe down my dash where you could see where the sprayed and clean a small area. There was a coupon in Facebook for a free mega car wash at this location only . This expired on Dec 17th, 2017 . It was for $25.95 I live near the 99th and McDowell location and a frequent customer for all my cars. So I decided to drive out to the lower buckeye location today 11/20/17 and spoke to David. I showed him the Facebook post however I could not bring up the code needed to redeem the offer. So I went inside to sign in your wi fi and showed the cashier that the code does not up. She could not offer the free car wash without the code. I was not happy at the time. I didn't drive out to this location for nothing . My car was washed and I spent $17.95 for the wash. I felt scammed . Why would I waste my time and money. This is a scam and I will report this further to alert others. If it's to good to be true then it must be.
