Missing our guacamole from our meals and my meal was missing the rice beans as well. When I asked the waitress she said they were out. Had we known that we wouldn't have stayed to begin with. I found the hair that went to that hairband. it was in our salsa! we've only ordered the tacos for lunch to go a couple of times,they are okay.. big is the redeeming quality here I ordered the chicken, which is just that..CHICKEN nothing else bland but filling, my husband and his brother like the meat ones, so I decide one day to try the inside fare, first off we got a hair in the salsa which is just eewww!!, the tea was spoiled, the food was gross, greasy and just bad and we had to return our silverware as it was dirty..ugh!. the reason they are getting two stars is the waitress was pretty understanding and tried to make things right, didn't offer to comp the meal or anything, but at least she seemed to share our disgust. soo.. chances are I won't return read more

Picked this one using Yelp on the way home from floating the Guadalupe. Needed something carbelicious and Super Taco did not disappoint! Great Mexican food, super salsa, and amazing homemade flour and corn tortillas. Some complained about the staff but they were working to get the food out as fast as they could and the place was packed. One thing to know is they don't take credit or debit cards so make sure you have cash! But don't worry, prices are VERY reasonable so it won't break the bank!!! read more

Passing through on the way to FW, picked this place with the idea in mind to pick up a quick couple of tacos and get back on the road. No such luck. The order took quite a bit longer than it should. The reason was apparent, phone in orders were ringing off the hook. Oh well, tough luck. When my order eventually came up, I paid (cash only) and hit the road. Pulled out first taco, it was substantial, large. Took a bite, eh, not so good. It was edible but it had a texture like the meat had dried on the edges. Left over from the weekend? This place is probably best for breakfast.. lunch and dinner not so much... went there with 2 adults and one toddler for lunch..over $40 bucks for horrible chicken flautas (fried,rolled corn tortillas with unrecognizable fried something in them...one was totally empty...just a rolled tortilla. I would like to update my prior review. This is a local favorite, where locals go. Please do not expect valet parking or someone to seat you and your party. There may be times when the only table available hasn't been bussed yet. Have a seat, they will get to it shortly. When the place is full it might take a little longer to get your order. Do not do curbside pick up. I usually give restaurants the benefit of doubt but after waiting an hour and 15 minutes, when they told me my order will be ready in 25-30 minutes, I had to leave. The Tex Mex is very good for the low prices. Atmosphere is good. Unfortunately they don't have enough wait staff that is good. Every time somehow even when we go to different areas of the restraunt we get the same bad waitress who always gets our order wrong. Its frustrating. They take cash and check only. read more

"Super" Taco is a terrible place to eat, serving tasteless dry ground "meat" in the tacos with zero seasoning, and Velveeta cheese enchiladas, plus Velveeta melted all over everything, rice from a box and beans from a can - yuck. Judging by the rave reviews they get for their breakfast fare, I guess morning is when they do their best, but we will not be back. Filthy place. It is popular among the flies, which are difficult to keep away from the food, there are so many of them. One good thing, despite being covered in tattoos, the server was very nice and somewhat attentive, but then we were there about 2PM, so lunch was over and there were only two other tables of people there. Anyway, our server kept my iced tea coming. So, yeah. The one star is for the iced tea and the service. read more

Recently ordered dinner take out...breakfast burritos and chips and salsa. Found a hairband in one of our large chip bags about half way down! Brought the bag and band back to Super Taco the next morning...thought they should be aware of the issue and the staff didn't quite know what to say or do since the manager was not there, yet. They did offer to give us another bag of chips. Hopefully, this was just an accident; but, I would be thinking the location of personal items and food orders should not be anywhere in close proximity. read more

My son has raved about Super Taco for months. For my son's rehearsal dinner we ordered to-go fajitas, rice and beans. Wow, the amount of food was more than expected! The tortillas were thick hand-made type and very fresh! The salsa was awesome! Spicy enough but not enough to rot your tongue off. The fajita meat was very moist and full of flavor. The rice was also very moist and good tasting. Not like some of those places that taste like they added a little tomato sauce to the rice. Their customer service was outstanding. They were so helpful and accomodating. I found a new place to eat! Only problem, they are not open in the evenings except for Friday and Saturday so I don't get to go there as often as I'd like. My husband and I were in Marble Falls for our anniversary and we had heard from a buddy of my hubby's that this place was not to be missed so we took him on and went for it. We also had read reviews here and another review site. We were amazed to see so many positive reviews for a place. When we arrived, we saw what was a packed parking lot, and usually that means that a place is great. Sure enough, the restaurant was nearly to their capacity and we found one vacant table so we went for it. The server was really nice and brought us out some chips and salsa. The salsa was delicious. Excellent fresh taste to it! We placed our orders and despite how crowded they were, the food seemed to arrive in an acceptable time. I ordered the fajita lunch plate, and my hubby ordered the beef enchilada plate. I also had a Dr. Pepper. First of all, the food arrived piping hot and second of all...the food was delicious. It had said that the fajitas were served with two tortillas, but I opened up my tin foil and only found one. I was like...huh? Only one? But my hubby made a good point...maybe that tortilla was soooooo BIG that it was to be equivalent to two regular size tortillas. He just might have been right. That tortilla was bigger than I've ever seen and so fresh and soft. The beef fajita was also tender and tasty as were the rice, beans and guacamole. Some of the best cheap, and authentic tasting mexican food I've ever had that's for sure. Hubby said the enchiladas were also very very good and he loved the rice and beans. EXCELLENT. Anything they make themselves it simply out of this world! Their tortillas are clearly handmade and really great. Salsa is "authentic-style" vinegar-based and some of the best we have ever eaten anywhere! Their "gravy" - chili for beef enchildas - is unique and packed full of flavor and will please just about anyone! But "queso" is simply Rotel dip - without enough Rotel. I'd recommend avoiding it. They serve their whole menu all day! Breakfast tacos are generous and really cheap at a couple of bucks. The kitchen gets backed up easily, and a couple of the servers aren't even polite. I grew up going to super taco. The amount of food for the prices can't be beat. Plus it's yummy! I haven't been here in a while so I decided to review it. My first experience back was good!! The only thing that bothered me was the wait. We probably waited 35+ mins to get our food but since I had good company it didn't upset me. It was my boyfriends first time and he loved it! You guys... I have been going to Super Taco my whole life and it has never done me wrong. Love the place. Went back for the first time in years yesterday and me and my whole group got carne guisada. Delicious. Well we all woke up in the night with terrible cramps and haven't left the toilets since! It's either a. Food poisoning or b. Exlax. I've had experience with Exlax in my day and I'll tell you what that's exactly what I feel/felt like now and when I was awake half the night. I'll be avoiding beloved Super T for awhile.. Spending a weekend at the lake house, we Yelped for mexican restaurants and this seemsed like a place we would like to try. Lunch consisted of a home-made slighty breaded, roasted fresh poblano pepper, overly stuffed with queso blanco, topped with chile con queso with a side of spanish rice, fluffed and seasoned just right.. Since we were extremely hungry after a dinner party the night before, we decided to also a carne guisada taco (really should be called a burrito). The flour tortillas were huge! Everyone raves about Super Taco, but it's mediocre at best. It's decent for the price, but they use bland American cheese because it's cheaper (words from all the staff).
