Delicious! They give you chips and two salsas. We had a shrimp taco and a combination plate of beef enchiladas. The presentation is beautiful! The enchilada sauce was very tasty and the meat was cut differently than most places. They have beer, sodas and my favorite, Jarritos. The service was outstanding. She was very cordial, sweet, and smiling. We stopped at Super Taco while scouting out fast and satisfying dinner stops on the way to and from the coast. The food was acceptable but on the greasy and over-cheesed side (chicken tacos and cheese quesadilla), with Costco tortilla chips. The restaurant itself was dim and the bathroom was...yikes. So, Super Taco is fine as a place to pick up something quick and filling on your way from somewhere to someplace else, but that's about it. read more

This place is very laid back and unassuming and amazing! The Cameron's Diablo is something I eat at every Mexican restaurant. I live in Connecticut and just drove across country asked the hotel staff where the best Mexican food was here....they did not disappoint. I stop at Super Taco almost every time I'm in Willits or Ukiah. Today was the first time I've been to the Willits location in over a year. I will not be going back. I ordered two carnitas burritos for my wife and myself. Mine was almost totally rice and beans. In the first half I only found one very small piece of meat. In total there was less than a 1/4 cup of meat. It was over 95% rice and beans. For $7.50, I expect more than a rice and bean burrito. I have been eating at Super Taco for almost 25 years. Never again in Willits and if the Ukiah location is doing the same, I will no longer go there. BE WARNED. read more

The chips are store bought. The food is good. If you go around lunch time you'll wait at least 40 minutes without chips & salsa to hold you over. Waiting is fine but they should tell you roughly how long you'll have to wait. I got a shrimp taco combo and was satisfied. Not the best but not the worst. Ahhh Super Taco, so many fond memories. I stop here a lot of the time on my way South on the 101 from Humboldt County, or North up to Humboldt. I really enjoy Super Taco's "Super Burrito". I am vegetarian, so I get the one without meat, so I can't really say how that is. Super Taco's atmosphere is like any taqueira, it's good to sit in , and it's good to get food to go. Excellent Carne asada and pork tacos. The best Chorizo tostada I've ever had. Street style tacos and a very good Chili Rellino with home made rice and beans. Fresh pico and a green Avacado dip that is very good. Nice ladies cooking and behind the counter, only one of whom knew English, but that was enough. They have a unique tasting item with their spicy pork / Al Pastor. It really has a great flavor that I have not found elsewhere. The salsa here is good too. Everything else is normal fair fare. Good crispy shell on their taco salad- try it Al Pastor! read more

Let me start with the green salsa right out of the gate. The best I have ever had, pureed tomatillos, cilantro, chiles, limes and avocado goodness! Super fresh and killer; can't complain about the salsa fresca either. Chunky and juicy heaven. You'll hammer these quickly. On to the main course, highly recommend anything with the Al Pastor, I prefer tacos. This al pastor recipe is uniquely theirs and the one I make comparison to. Great carnitas, fish tacos, super burritos (2-meals worth, go al pastor!), carne asada, and shrimp cocktail. Very fresh and affordable. If you travel 101 at all, you need to find this place. I had read some reviews before I made the trip to Willits, and, because I'm a carnitas freak, I had read some reviews about the carnitas being too crispy here for some. Me, I love some crispy carnitas, as long as there is juicy tender parts mixed in with the crunch, you know, for some balance. Good , HUGE burrito for $6-7. I actually ate it for 2 meals, and a snack! we stop in willits for gas and lunch every time we go home to southern oregon and have always stopped at subway in the past. this time we thought we saw the super taco sign when we parked at subway and thought we'd try something different. a great meal. hubby had 2 beef tacos and i had a regular burrito with carnitas. omg. chips were good, the green salsa and pico de gallo (hot!) were excellent. the meals were exceptionally good. service was quick and friendly. super taco is a great find, and is typical of your 'hole in the wall' eateries. you have to search for it to find it, but once you eat there, you're sold! read more

Great burrito, huge and tasty. Carnitas tacos, good not excellent, the carnitas was a bit on the too crunchy side. Salsa and chips were included and good. This is one of our favorite places to get food to go. We call in an order, since we almost always order the same thing, and it's ready by the time we get there. The food is excellent. Husband likes their burrito al pastor and I'm a fan of their super camerones. Stopped here folks and had a very delicious burrito. I asked for extra cilantro and salsa. I am a chef and I cater and teach private culinary lesson to small in home groups. I also am a culinary judge. This place is a great little hole in the wall, nothing fancy. You walk up to the counter, order, pay, and take a seat. My son loves the chile verde burrito, I like the chile relleno plate, or the chicken enchiladas (suiza, or verde), with whole beans (frijoles de la oja por favor), and rice. Driving South down the 101 I needed a break and my daughter who lives in the NorthEast had a hankering for taco. Found Super Taco on a whim. WOW! My daughter ordered the chicken al pastor taco and a taco with carne asada. After we ordered she saw they had fish tacos and ordered that too. I had the chicken al pastor and my son mistakenly thought, based the the low price, that the super taco would be a normal size taco. Super taco is HUGE!. All of our tacos were wonderful. The fish taco is not breaded and fried but rather, it is grilled with a wonderful sauce. I will definitely be stopping by again should I find myself that far north in CA again. read more

Super Taco is a great little taqueria wedged in the corner of a shopping center in Willits, right off of US101. They have delicious, authentic and inexpensive taqueria foods; tacos, burritos, carnitas etc. It's a great place to fill up my stomach when I'm taking the long drive up from San Francisco to Eureka...
