We were looking for a quick, casual spot in the area, and Super Tacos El Conrro was the perfect choice. I originally planned to get a burrito, but the Alambre looked too good to pass up. I got it with Al Pastor, and for $13, you get a generous plate loaded with meat and veggies, served over a bunch of tortillas. The salsas were a bit spicy for me, but they still paired well. Overall, great spot for authentic Mexican food -- and at that price, it's hard to beat. I'll definitely be back to finally try that burrito I'm still craving!

Great mexican spot! Went there after a tennis match and was not disappointed. Got the Alhambre and a burrito(which i forgot to take a picture of). The burrito was good as is, but a tiny bit of sour cream and a little bit of avocado would've made it a 9.5/10 to a 10/10. Salsas were a bit too spicy for my liking, but the mild salsa was good. Food came out quick and they have seating inside and outside.

Absolutely delicious + authentic tacos. Although I dont speak Spanish, I had no problem ordering it with my terrible pronunciation. The staff was helpful and nice to me. Beef + chicken + oreja (ears) + costilla (ribs) are what I have tried and each one tasted unique and yummy. They take all kinds of payments with good quality of napkins + sauces for you to handle your own mess. Strongly recommended!

Tacos asked but they gave what they wanted instead of what was ordered

I'm highly disappointed, I used to like this taco truck, but the quality has dropped significantly, now not even getting what I ordered for, and paying more for it. I know overall food costs have gone up but the price increase for the tacos does not justify also the decrease in quality, used to be around 2.75, now 3.25/3.50 Also, when I saw I didn't get what I asked, and asked the guy what is what, they couldn't tell me but instead went to look at what I ordered to guess what was on my plate. A clear sign that they gave me what they wanted and not what I ordered. I posted pictures of what I ordered and what was I didn't get, plus also pictures of what the meat actually looks like. Definitely won't be coming back.

Tried this truck on a Monday night, and I'm glad I did. The suadero taco was a decent taco, not the best, but certainly not disappointing. Reviews said that the meats other than al pastor were dry, and I would say I've had juicer suadero, but this wasn't bad. The torta was good, I like that they gave avocado. But it did fall apart really easily (nothing some chips couldn't handle). But it was about $18 for a torta, taco, and a coke. I'm not sure I'm down for that kind of value to be honest. (But then again... inflation?)

3.5 Stars I highly recommend the quesadilla with Al Pastor. The pork is juicy and flavored well without being overly salty and the tomatoes/onions provide a freshness that is very much needed for such a heavy dish. The flour tortilla is crispy on the outside and doesn't get too soggy even with the saucy meat, which is pretty impressive. The disappointing part of my experience here are the tacos. I probably should have gone with the Al Pastor which is the safer choice, but I decided to try other meat options - Pollo, Lengua, and Carne Asada. The meats were slightly dry and didn't have too much flavor either. Adding these on top of dry corn tortillas did not help. Try asking for extra sauce (something I wish I did). Overall, this place isn't bad and is still worth a try if you're craving authentic Mexican food!

4.5 stars I lucked out today when they had sesos tacos - so tender and buttery. Lots of cilianto and onions - nice ratio with the corn tortilla. The carnitas are always good here as well. My dd really likes their grilled chicken. Appreciate their side dish of sliced radishes and cucumbers. Go easy on the green salsa - it's dang spicy Lots of options here including veggie ones too. Quick polite service.

Haven't had tacos for a long time since quarantine hit, but so glad this spot was actually open on a Friday night!! We went searching all around Mountain View for taco spots after a bike ride but alas, all were closed. Luckily this truck was open, and very popular. We got 7 tacos between the three of us. Carne asada was soft and melts in the mouth, carnitas had a lovely crunch and wonderful burst of flavor. One of my favorite taco spots in the bay now!

This used to be one of my favorite taco trucks- it was close to home and delicious (hence 2 stars) but sadly they have lost my business :( I am too sad about this- their meat is now undercooked (has a lot of undercooked fat so it is chewy and gross when you bite carne asada burrito) one of the most disappointing experiences ever. Maybe maybe if they fix their cooking method I might return, but after the last disgusting experience I don't think I cna ever bite their food. I am grossed out writing this review. :( I would go here at least 3 times a week- so I need to find another taco trucks. To the chefs, please please please cook your food properly, otherwise it can make people sick. I felt so nauseous after two bites :(

This is the classic taco truck experience: Drive into the parking lot of an old car wash. Walk past a row of parked cars, and the roving eyes of people eating their tacos in the front seat. Stand idly behind a family of four, a couple of teenagers, a stray middle-aged man, and a food delivery person while mentally preparing to say the words "ah-l past-oor". When it's finally your turn, be prepared to crank your head up, and be thankful you don't have to sacrifice your firstborn to the tacos gods taking your order. "Do you want onions and cilantro on top?" Yes, of course I do. I'm not an uncultured swine. Minutes later, open up that cheap aluminum foil cover and feast yourself in the most carnal way on some tacos that were made with only love. And in case I wasn't clear, get the al pastor here. It'll make your night.

The Carne Asada was so good! I like these guys because they give you grilled peppers and all the condiments you need for your taco is all self serve so you can pack it on!!! The little extra they give goes a long way, I can appreciate that as a customer and a fan of taco trucks! Definitely will be coming back!

I had a really nice chat with one of the owners there and they all seem like really lovely people--kind hearted with little kids around so hopefully they stay around for some time! They were still redoing the front of house so not sure when they will open fully but looking forward to trying more Azerbaijan food. Since I've never had Azerbaijan food before, I asked for a recommendation and he said all of the food is good but did say that the chicken shawarma was big and I was feeling a bit hungry so went with that. It came with fries and some peppers, which reminded me of banana peppers. Not spicy with a briney taste to it, great accompaniment. He also tossed in this yogurt drink (I didn't get the name) that was tasty. Overall, good food and will be back to try their lamb kebabs and the burger as well and interested to see what their pizzas will be like as well. Btw, it's in a small parking lot next to a restaurant, and you should have parking spots at the back. There always seems to be a decent crowd occupying the tables near the food truck.

I originally wanted tacos (which was unavailable) but noticed this food truck instead. For reference, I've never tried Nepalese/Indo-Chinese food, so I figured I would give it a shot. The guy running the food truck is soft-spoken but was able to provide suggestions. When I asked what was popular, he told me that people try the dumplings, so I ordered one (1), which come in a set of 8. Each one is about the size of two quarters in diameter (for scale). It comes with sauces on the spicy side. I figured that alone wasn't enough to alleviate my hunger pangs, so I ordered the Paneer Chow Mein and Mango Lassi, too. My order came out after 15 minutes. In the meantime, I waited under the tent that was stationed with a dining table next to the truck. Paneer Chow Mein - 6/10. Tastes like your average standard Chow Mein. I didn't know what paneer was, but after a quick Google search, it's cheese with the look, texture and taste of tofu. I ate enough to send me into a food coma. The guy packed plenty into the container (and I barely made a dent), so I rated it higher. Chicken Momo (Dumplings) - 7/10. What you'd expect of a chinese steamed dumpling but with a slight twist. I don't have a diverse culinary palate, but there was a hint of a curry(esque) flavor in the filling. Delicious with the sauces. Mango Lassi - 1000000/10. I am a sweet tooth and woah....I absolutely love this drink. It is an Indian mango yogurt drink that is not too thick or sickly sweet. It has a thick consistency and was perfect to have during the summer as a dessert. It was about $4 for 12oz but I had to order another one for the road because it is exactly what I needed. Overall, I would stop by again if I needed something to curb my empty stomach.

Yesterday, I ordered a Vada Pav, Shalimar Egg Mughlai (on their recommendation from their list of egg dishes), and a Veg Frankie -- and honestly, none of it lived up to the hype(5 stars currently) or price point. Vada Pav: It was okay. The "mirchi" served alongside was literally a raw Thai green chili. Really? At least pan-fry it with some salt and oil to enhance the flavor. For over $10 with taxes, this was already pricier than better Vada Pavs you can get at places like Elco Drive, and yet it offered nothing exceptional. Frankie: This one made me genuinely angry. It was a soggy maida roll stuffed with the same aloo masala from the Vada Pav, plus a few sad shreds of cabbage. That's it. And they had the audacity to charge $12 for it. ($1.50 for cheese, lol I am glad we didn't add)This isn't a Frankie -- it's a lazy repackaged Vada Pav with no flavor or creativity. They threw in some pickled jalapeños on the side, which only added confusion. If you're running a fusion menu(well partially), at least mention it upfront instead of misleading customers. Egg Shalimar Mughlai: At $13, it was passable but still not impressive. The bun on the side was not toasted or anything. Better than the Frankie, but nothing I'd recommend or return for. I was so excited for trying this place but, overall, this place is overpriced, underwhelming, and frankly disappointing. If your Vada Pav and Frankie are practically identical, maybe inform customers before they order both. I wouldn't recommend Maya Kitchen -- save your time, appetite and money and go somewhere else.
