I was referred to Marco because I was told by other mechanics my 2005 escalade needed a catalytic converter. It took my a while to call Marco because I researched the cost of a converter for my car and I found out it was extremely expensive. I finally called Marco to schedule an appointment so I could find out how much this job was going to set us back. When I showed up he was very attentive and immediately examined my car. I had a rattle underneath my car that has been there for at least one year. He hoisted the car up and immediately called me over to look underneath. I told me it was not my converter and showed me a bracket that became loose. He said it did not need replacement it would have to be welded. I asked how much it would cost he told me $800. I thought to myself it was much cheaper than a converter however not within my budget. He smiled and said he was kidding it would only cost $45.00 and it would only take 15minutes to weld. I was told by at least 3 mechanics over the last year that it was my catalytic converter. Marco could have replaced mine for much cheaper than what I expected but much more than $45.00 but he was completely honest with me. Came for another muffler Delete from Marco. Like my first experience, this experience was phenomenal. His prices are a little higher compared to some of his competition but I wouldn't trust anyone else with my exhaust. Wanted my Kia K7 to be louder from stock exhaust. So he suggested a muffler delete instead of a resonator delete. Even offered to give me a test run, just in case she didn't like the sound. Removed my mufflers, and sure enough it sounded amazingly. If I didn't like it, he only charged $30 to weld it back on. And like the first experience, he did a great job on the welds and only took about and hour and a half to bend and weld the pipes. Very happy with the service. Needed to ensure my car was compliant with California law and he helped me out. within 2 hours he was done.

Drove in during my lunch break back in June to get a quote and discuss what I needed with Marco. He was polite and asked a few questions to grasp what I needed from him so that I could pass smog. I told him I'd be back the next day after I got off work, since I didn't have the parts with me and wouldn't have time to drive home and get back before he closed for the day. I came in the next day about 2 hours early, just missing a previously open slot and watched him work on installing a custom exhaust system onto an Accord and he was very meticulous, measured half a dozen times before he tack welded the parts, then he measured another half dozen times to make sure everything was even and straight before the completing weld. When he was done, he started on my car and after we had a bit of trouble w/ getting the V-band off (curse you BMW) he measured a few times, cut and welded everything back together. The welds are clean, the exhaust is straight and he even replaced a rubber hanger for free after he saw that one was damaged. Overall, great experience. If you need exhaust work and you're within driving distance, Marco will do a good job. read more

I was stuck in a bad spot but luckily I found Marco. I recently did a engine swap in my datsun stuck and I wasn't aware that a critical piece was missing ( down pipe) most business would reject the job because of the amount of time and labor it would take to make one but Marco stepped out of his way to help me on Memorial Day weekend. I've been to my fair share of sketchy muffler shops but this guy did amazing work, doesn't over promise, and was very communicative. Prices were similar to other shops but you can't beat this customer service. The owner is super nice and gave me a call when it was ready...unlike other places. Came to Marco's shop after reading other Yelp reviews. Marco is as straight forward as they come. He is very friendly and professional and went over several different options with me regarding my 15 Grand Cherokee. I was looking to hear that Hemi V8, but not to obnoxious. Marco could have easily sold me a set of mufflers and priced me for a full custom cat back system along with removing the resonator in the middle of the exhaust. Marco was straight with me and informed me that it would simply be best to remove the mufflers and keep everything else underneath. Instead of easily making the muffler delete and welding straight pipes to the back, Marco custom bent the tubing to match the underneath of my jeep. Super Tek is the best in the business. Marco and Marco Jr. are custom exhaust experts. I was dead set on a Flowmaster 50 series muffler for my 2009 F150 5.4L V8 FX4. Before welding anything in, Marco let me compare the sound of Flowmaster AND MagnaFlow mufflers on my truck! I decided to go with MagnaFlow due to the deeper, smoother tone. Marco and his son meticulously leveled/aligned the pipes and asked for approval before welding anything. Marco custom bent the 3" pipe from cat to muffler so that he could tuck the muffler up higher than the skid plates on the truck - to maintain high clearance for off-roading. ....I am an engineer, and am impressed with their level of perfectionism Marco fabricated solid, perfectly fit hangers for the muffler. The custom system that Super Tek installed on my truck does not vibrate and is MUCH more solid than the stock system. I found a listing for this place when I did a search for custom muffler installation. I called the number and spoke to Marco who was super helpful and nice. I told him I wanted to replace my current mufflers with Flowmasters so he told to swing by so he could take a look at my car. We spent close to an hour chatting and looking at my car to see what would be the best system to install. We settled on a cat back system (which I bought online). I went back today and he installed it for me. He took his time and didn't mind me being under the car with him. I'm super meticulous and so is he so we go along really well. There was another customer waiting to talk to him and he was giving us a weird look because we were trying to fix a 1/16 of an inch difference between the two pipes lol. Long story short, the install came out awesome with everything lined up perfectly. Most other shops wouldn't go this extra mile without getting frustrated but not Marco, he's the man and I would definitely recommend him if you want it done right. He charged me $30 more than a few other quotes that I got but hey, it's worth it for the job that I got. read more

So my cat (catalytic converter) got stolen and I called this shop. Marco, owner of the shop was super friendly, informative, and honest - to sum it all up. He even let me use his truck so I can buy the O2 sensor that was stolen in the nearby auto parts store and also get food in In n'Out. I brought him food coming back cause he was such a nice guy. As far as the work done in my car, he installed a new cat converter (with a warranty) along with the O2 sensor for a reasonable price. All the spot welds looks perfect. He didn't charge for stuff that I didn't need. I definitely recommend this shop if you need if cat converter replaced or need some custom exhaust work. We need more Marco out there! read more

Originally came to Marcos to install an Invidia Q300 catback exhaust on our Subaru WRX. We were very pleased with the service. Very knowledgeable man who works by himself, very professional and makes all customers feel welcome and comfortable.
