Cream Cheese Wonton and Pork Egg Roll
Nicole G.

Haven't been to Super Wok in a long time and happened to be in the area, so thought I'd give them a visit. Placed my order via phone and was ready to pickup within 15 minutes. Service was quick! Pickup process was seamless. Staff were friendly. There are tables available for dine in, but seems to be more carryout. The restaurant is a little dark, would be nice to see it lighten up a bit (makes it more welcoming). Chicken lo mein and chicken fried rice were good just as I remembered. Cream cheese wontons and egg-roll I would pass on- Not my favorite. Felt like they were missing something. Overall, it was a good experience and have leftovers for next day.

Not terrible... The main motivation to order from here tonight was that they had $0 delivery fee on Door Dash. Taking that into consideration- this place is decent. Nothing was amazing, but it was all fine for the price. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't choose it again.

The shrimp is like rubber

I ordered Fried cream cheese wonton and also butterfly shrimp. If you want cream cheese jerky and leather-tasting shrimp...go ahead and order all you want! Apparently, the guy at the deep fryer is still in training :))) Tried to call and get my money back....HA!!!! apparently, that is not happening!!!

We got hungry on a trip to Rochester so we found this on Yelp. Lunch specials were very reasonably priced and tasty. I always enjoy getting fried rice and an egg roll with lunch. These did not disappoint. And as usual, there was plenty to take along for another meal.

Fried dumpling on the left, egg roll at the top, and lo mein, beef broccoli, and fried rice mixed together.

Just what I was looking for! Large portions, great taste, and fast service. This place cost as much as some of the places in Eagan but is SO much better. We got the combo plates which came with pork fried rice, egg roll, and a soda then the fried dumplings. The dumplings were amazing! I highly recommend them. The egg roll was lackluster but fried nicely. The fried rice was very short grain which I am not a fan of but it tasted fine. The beef and broccoli and the beef low mein were spot on! I would get them again in a heart beat.

Great food!

We grabbed seats at their tiny 4-seat bar, which turned out to be the perfect spot for the evening. The service was fantastic from start to finish with everyone on the staff attentive, warm, and friendly. We went all-in and ordered the Potsticker Feast ($95): two of every kind of potsticker they make, plus all four dipping sauces, Ribeye Noodles, Korean Wings, General Tso's Chicken, and House Cucumbers. The potstickers were awesome but given the name of the place I was surprised that the real standouts were the other dishes. The ribeye was perfectly marinated and tender, tossed with a variety of vegetables and stir-fried noodles. The wings were terrific and the General Tso's was perfect. Don't sleep on the cucumbers either...smoky, spicy, and sweet, with peanuts and sauce. My favorite potstickers were the Beef & Carrots and the Kimchi Pork. If you're looking for scratch-made Asian fusion with great hospitality, Potsticker is hard to beat.

The server was very friendly and informative, even joked around with us a little. It didn't look like reservations were needed, except maybe on busy days like Mother's Day. The food was amazing. Potstickers were, of course, super good, but so was everything else. Portions were generous. I got the pork belly fried rice and I think I have enough leftovers for another three or four meals. There is a small parking lot in back, but you have to walk around the building to get to the door. I would say it is not handicapped friendly. If you park in back it would be hard to get to the door unless you are able to make it half way around the block. If you park in front it is just street parking. My dad uses a walker and we were lucky enough to get a spot right in front of the restaurant, anything else would have been a problem. Spacing inside the restaurant is pretty tight as well. Once dad sat down they had to take his walker into the back because there was no room in the seating area. We were packed in pretty tightly and very close to the table next to us. Overall, delicious food! We will be back!

The restaurant is spacious and can easily accommodate larger groups of people. The food is from what I remember has been consistent and delicious, the only thing that's notable changed is the price, which can be on the pricier side nowadays unfortunately. This time around I took a small group of friends here and ordered some of my favorites. The peking style pork chop is a classic here, deep fried and moist with a sweet and sour sauce. The best part about this dish is that there's no bones either (unlike some of the other pork dishes). The beef chow fun is what I believe the best beef chow fun in MN. It's so freaking good I think you just have to try it for yourself. Another classic starter dish I got was the seafood tofu soup. Hot, thick seafood soup with tofu is refreshing to start with, and when you top it off with a dash of white pepper it gets even better. The fried oysters are a recent addition to my favorites; cripsy without too much fishiness/oceanic flavor, and also very meaty. The batter and salt/pepper onion flavoring is also very strong and pairs well with the oysters. And lastly I usually get some sort of vegetable. This time around I got the yu choi in garlic sauce, which was clean and just tender enough to add a nice bite of fresh veggie to our meal. I would also recommend the achoy or chinese brocolli if you're into that as well. They also give you a free dessert of what I think is taro tapicoa soup? Either way it's a nice sweet treat to end the meal on.

Tried the sesame chicken, moo shu pork, fried rice, white rice and the cream cheese wontons. The wontons had a really light and crispy batter, but not super flavorful. The sesame chicken was fantastic, some of the best I've had with good chicken meat inside. The moo shu pork was also delicious! The fried rice was good, nothing out of this world, but decent. The portions are massive so beware. The interior is really cool, I love the koi pond and the pergola over the middle tables. The service was fine, everyone was helping out, but we were never asked if we wanted anything to drink other than water and I was waiting for a friend who was later and was kind of ignored until she arrived. Otherwise a fantastic experience!

Pho was a bit sweet. I would pass on that next time. Chow fun was one of the best I've ever had. Lemongrass chicken was really good and not easily available at other places so I would go back just for that. Chicken wings were so hot and crispy! We ordered them spicy but they were not spicy. The sauce was more sweet and sour. Ask for chili oil but be careful and only use a little because that is spicy! They do not have tap water, bottles available for purchase.

Their food is amazing but recently I noticed they've changed their chicken teriyaki. Not sure whether it's the sauce or the chicken or what it is but it's definitely different, more tangy? Not a fan. Wish they would change it back. Originally started eating here solely because of the chicken teriyaki and how it reminded me of the good memories of my childhood, it was spot on. If I'm not mistaken, we even ordered delivery from here the other night and their new York cheesecake, cream cheese wontons, and vegetable tempura were excellent. The only comment from that night is that the jalapeno fried rice needed a bit more soy sauce, but that was thankfully provided. For today's sit in, I ordered a very refreshing mango green tea, with a side of steamed pork dumplings. The sauce for the dumplings was less-vinegary and more sesame oil-forward. Still hearty. This place also has a $9.60 lunch menu-- choices of 30 mains with chicken fried rice and either egg roll or egg drop soup. Service was great too and welcoming.
