I think it's the best burger place around! You can smell the flame broiled burger from outside, which drew me in. I've had 3 different burgers. I love that they offer grass-fed beef and such a variety of choices. In addition to the traditional beef burger, they have lamb burgers, chicken and even hot links. I've had the sweet potato fries, the tater tots and my new favorite "stinky garlic fries". They are very friendly and have a condiment bar with a number of additional toppings. I haven't tried the milk shakes yet, but they look fantastic. read more

First Terrible Experience at this location today 2/15/18 around 1:15. Ordered cheese burger, fries and ice tea. For years the fries arrive piping hot right out of the fryer followed by your burger when it is ready. For some reason my fries sat up on the counter (no heat lamp) waiting to be served with my well done burger. Of course the fries are luke warm at best. I mentioned that to the smaller of the two working and she just walked away. I told her I wanted the check. The larger gal I asked if it was not there training and practice to serve the fries out hot ahead of the burger which she said yes and she did offer to get me new fries...of course now my burger gets cold. I drove 20 miles to get the hot fries that I cannot get elsewhere...too bad the waitress was too busy chatting to take care of my order....last trip there! read more

I did not have even have a chance to eat here. I waited 30 minutes for a table when there was a 10 minute wait for a table when I walked in which four tables where open when first arrived. When I went up to the two young hostess while they where on there cell phones texting and not even acknowledging that tables were open and when asked that tables were open they said "the kitchen too busy to seat us". I will never go back horrible service all young kids working and no upper management there for support. I would not recommend eating here or even thinking of attending to this place. Sometimes I get a hankering for a hamburger and I don't want to waste that hankering on a mediocre burger i.e. Macdonald's or Burger King etc. I want a freaking righteous burger dammit! Well, I believe that I've found a place that gives me what I want. Superburger has a nice variety with all the usuals including bacon avocado cheese variants , I chose the classic cheeseburger with fries (sold separately) and an Anderson valley summer solstice and I was in righteous hamburger heaven. The fries were crispy, hot and not too big or small. The burger was juicy ,grass fed and delish. On a slightly negative note, those tasty fries should be included,what I ordered separately, I could not finish even tho it was the smaller size. The service is great the vibe is cool ( they were playing music I like ) , I think that if they had a better location they would be super crowded and maybe they are because I went there at around 2 pm. This is a BRAND NEW restaurant. So as you can imagine just like all new restaurants it takes awhile to get the kinks worked out. This is by far the largest Superburger store yet. So now you can bring your family, which everyone is, which is great! My husband and I ate there two days ago. While there was a wait, it was not long. The food is on par with the quality you have come to expect from Superburger, which is great! Husband had a regular hamburger with fries which was more than he could finish. He also had a Butterfinger shake. They have a huge custom made shake list. I had the chili cheese fries and the chili was great. More than I could finish as well. Yes, the staff is being trained and they are new - but from what I observed they were really working their butts off and wanting to please the customers. Our service was fast and efficient. I think Superburger's a great addition to Cotati and I wish them well. We will be back! read more

Super burger. Penngrove was a great jumping off point but their Cotati location, in my opinion, catapulted them out of "burger joint" status and into, what I consider, casual fine dining. The menu is still the same having the best burger combinations with lamb and grass fed beef options, mouthwatering chicken sandwiches, every shake you could dream up and ones you haven't, onion rings, fries and tots but the fresh decor, the ample space and ambient lighting combine to make this a "going out to dinner" place. I like that they moved the host/hostess stand closer to the door. They get four stars because whenever I order a custom burger or sandwich well unfortunately I think I've gotten it right once. The other knock is for the outside patio area that's not being used. There's a sign that says the kitchen can't handle both the patio and the front room however I'm sure with the creative genius at work there is something feasible to come up with so people could enjoy the patio they could profit and not slam the kitchen at the same time. read more

I use to go to the old location in penngrove all the time and was very sad when they had to close down. But when I saw the were opening a new location in cotati, I was very excited. The wait wasn't even that long as it was pretty busy on a Sunday. They sat us down outside and had our food out pretty quick. Food was great as it was at the old location. Mediocre burgers with terrible service. The old Penngrove location was great. We have done several trips here since moving to Cotati both dine in and carry out and they continually seem to worsen. Each time hoping that it was just a fluke and the server was having a bad day, but with continued long ticket times and waiting for the servers to acknowledge you, this was the last time. I was really optimistic for this to be a great addition to the local scene as we needed a great burger bar. Unfortunately this is not it. Use to have the best burgers, now they got rid of the good thick bacon and went with cheap thin bacon, I ordered med. rare last 2 times and got well done and flavorless. We've been there twice now and loved it both times. Great service, very friendly and very quick. Attentive waitstaff. We each ordered burgers and then shared a "half and half" basket of onion rings and fries, and that was plenty for two adults and two kids. The food is fantastic, and I love the option of ordering a small version of any burger. The onion rings in particular are very good. My only suggestion would be some kind of kid menu/coloring page and crayons to keep the little ones entertained until the food comes, but this is my new favorite burger place, for sure. read more

If you're looking for AMAZING food then this is the place, if you want good service, I would drive up the highway to the original SuperBurger in Santa Rosa. My boyfriend and I frequent the SuperBurger in Santa Rosa quiet often and always have great service and awesome food. On Tuesday we were in Cotati and decide to stop at the new location (since the one in Penngrove closed) and grab a burger. Our food was great, no companions there but we will not be returning due to the extremely poor service we experienced. When you go somewhere and the first thing you see is a sign that says "please wait to be seated," you expect service from a waitress or waiter. The hostess say Us and took our drink orders. Our waitress came by and took our orders and left and that was the LAST time we saw her. The hostess brought us our food and that was the last time we saw anyone. No one asked us if our food was okay or if we would like refills on our bottomless iced teas. My boyfriend counted and someone walked by our table 9 times and never asked if we would like anything else or something else to drink (both of our glasses were empty). I could understand this if thy were busy, but there were two table outside and two tables inside, is included and 3 waitresses working. When our waitress brought our check to the table she just put it down said "here you go" and took our empty baskets. This was really disappointing because we actually wanted to order a milkshake to share. My boyfriend asked the hostess running around if he could just grab the iced tea pitcher and help himself because he was thirsty and she said "go ahead." My boyfriend and I both work in the service industry so we understand if it's busy or whatever but the fact is our waitress could not be bothered with us. Terrible service! I came in for a late lunch a few days ago, and they did not look busy, and I wanted to try a new place. I was seated, and waited for around 10 minutes. Nobody came to my table to bring me water or get my order. I looked around, stood up for a while, but could not get any employee's attention. We went in to Superburger for our Sunday dinner. Management at super had moved a table for our 3 top. The way the seating is there is a low hanging light at Superburger above their tables. There was no table under the light. My wife got up from her seat and hit her head on the light. There was no table there to block someone from hitting it. She came back from the bathroom crying with a big lump on her forhead. While we were at Superburger someone else almost hit there head on the same light while I was sitting there consoling her. She said she was feeling dizzy and light headed. I let the manager know that Id like thier insirance information and that I was taking my wife to the hospital. She said she would call the owner of Superburger Bill. I got on the Phone and let Bill known that the low hanging light was a hazard and that it should have been blocked by a table. He said to me. "What are you a fire inspector." and that I wasnt making friends saying that Superburger wasnt safe. I asked him for his insurace iformation because we were headed to the hospital. Bill told me that he wouldnt give it to me. He said that if I wanted it Id have to go through the court. He treated me like crap and belittled me on the phone and tried to scare me from going to the doctor. Bill- You have a lot to learn about running and owning a business. Your personal skills are very poor. You are a bad reflection of the Superburger name. You could have asked how my wife was doing and if she was ok. Instead you talked down to me with arogance. I run businesses in Sonoma County and am well versed in technology and am very know in the community. Our experinace and your lack of compasion will be known. You are right..... First time and I loved it. My burger came as requested extra well done and was still juicy. I liked that you put all the condiments yourself. They have a little condiment bar. Pretty good food, not so good service. It's hit and miss with the servers depending when you go in. Don't bother asking a different server for help if yours is non existent. I have been numerous times to Superburger, mostly to their old location on Old Redwood Highway but this location has terrible service. Came in with the family tonight and it was packed, especially for a Wednesday night! There was a 10-15 minute wait, but the wait was well worth it, the food was spectacular. I enjoyed the St. Helena burger and it was to die for, and my wife had a Lamb cheeseburger that was also delicious. Huge selection of beers on tap. Hazve been going to the one in Santa Rosa for about 20 years so I was stoked to see one in Cotati, and it is the same if not better. The menu is great, and the portions are worth every penny, you feel like it is worth eating out, something I rarely feel these days unless I spend a fortune. So this is a great spot, try the McDonald burger, blue cheese, bacon, and the rest of the fixins and it is juicy drippin and delicious...in fact I want to go now! What a huge disappointment. We had to wait 25 minutes to be seated while we watched empty tables remain empty. Thought it would be worth the wait but we were wrong!! I think they spent the money on the new location and skipped on the quality of the food. The frozen burger patties from Costco are better than the burger they served me. The fries were limp and greasy and the milkshake was runny and tasted like vanilla when I ordered strawberry. My wife only took one bite of her burger because it was so bad. When you think it could not get any worse, I was wrong again!!!! When the waitress asked how everything was she did not even wait for me to finish my answer before she walked off. I am not sure if it was the manager, owner or just another server but a gentleman came by as we were getting up to leave and asked how everything was he did listen but did not seem to care. He just said we are very busy. WOW, too busy to to try to get it right??
