Before I start, I should tell you that I should have written this sooner. life got in the way and I am finally getting around to writing this review sooner. Let's start with the good, There was no wait, the parking lot is large and all the staff were masked. Marjie cut my hair and I so glad she did. I have a short pixie haircut that can easily be screwed up within a snip. Thankfully Marjie is very skilled and so pleasant to chat with. So much in fact, I wish the appointment ran longer just so I could talk with her. It was a great experience! And now the bad part of the review. The negative part of this review has nothing to do with the stylists, it has to do with the store front. The salon itself is a bit rundown and doesn't reflect that of the employees. The salon staff should be working in a nicer place. The owner should invest in some cosmetic updates and spruce it up a bit. The salon itself is a bit worn down, but that won't stop me from going. It shouldn't stop you either! The stylists know what they are doing and they are a treasure to chat with. I'd travel over an hour for a good haircut. Thankfully, I don't have too! I finally found my, "local hair salon" and I am looking forward to my next appointment there. read more

This place is just awful. I just waited close to an hour for my son to get a haircut and then the woman just said that there were more than 5 people ahead of me. These people checked in online and/or called ahead. She couldn't have told me after I already waited there an hour?! She must be out of her mind thinking I'm going to wait over an hour for Supercuts. The gentlemen behind me also left. As we're leaving, there's one person waiting there. They rather wait for their virtual customers than actual serve people who are there. This place is dirty too. Walked in at 2pm, hardly had to wait. LOVED the people there. All so sweet and attentive. Marjie did a great job with my hair, completely understood what I wanted, and helped me get my hair healthy as well. Also the shop is filled with beautiful quotes encouraging positive attitudes. Lety gave my 3 year old a very big boy hair cut that looked great. She handled his high energy well and got it done quick and painlessly. Don't try to come here to get a haircut at their stated opening time as they don't open on time. Was waiting for them to open and they arrived just a few minutes before opening, didn't say a word to me at the door as I waited by it but walked in and locked it in my face, then proceeded to take their time to get ready. The cuts were fine. However, a sign out front advertised haircut sales, but when I checked out, I was told there was no sale. I mentioned the sign and was told that it was their fault, but that no discount would be provided. It felt like a classic bait and switch. They had to drag the sale sandwich board outside when they opened. If they knew the sale was not in effect, why put the sign out? If they knew they made an error, why not offer the sale price to retain goodwill? I tried to get information to speak with a manager since not every employee is able to make decisions like that, but was told the manager was not available and I could "Google" contact information. I would have gone to a competitor who was also running a sale during this same time period had the store been accurate and upfront about pricing. Very frustrating since there are both cheaper options available and more upscale options with perks using incentives and discounts all within a couple of miles of this location. read more

First of all, ill say i wouldn't normally come here for color or an intricate cut. However, i have (had) extremely long hair and i wanted a simple cut all the way around. Asked for 6" cut off. By the time she FINALLY got it even all the way around, she had cut off 10-11". There's nothing like a crappy haircut to ruin your day. So thanks, Supercuts. You certainly ruined mine. read more

I was looking forward to trying Supercuts for the first time, and even created a new account online and downloaded the app. Received a $2 coupon as well. I opened the App this afternoon and showed "no wait" at this location, I checked in, and headed that way. However, once I arrived I saw several people waiting and only two hairdressers. I explained that this was my first visit but had already checked in via the app, but they asked me to write my name in on a list. I sat down to wait, wondering if everyone there was also getting a haircut, the people there were very chummy with the other folks waiting so I wasn't sure if maybe one or two were spouses of people working there. The wait area was somewhat messy. There was a TV but it wasn't on. At one point a woman walked in with large boxes of bottled water (and party supplies?) and carried them to the back. After a whole hour it looked like there were still people in front of me, and the two hairdressers were not very quick; I couldn't wait any longer and headed out. My guess is they don't use the online check-in system, nor honor the online check in time. Very disappointed overall, won't be coming back. read more

I know it's not common for some people to use a chain....but, if I spend 50.00 or 25.00 it looks just as good. They don't rush, and the attention to detail is both impressive and appreciated. read more

Good haircuts for the price. In fairness, my haircuts are fairly simple. Negatively, some stylists are better than others and they change out pretty frequently. Oddly a women who's English isn't very good did a remarkably good job. read more

Let's be honest. Supercuts is not REALLY a salon. It's more of a barber with salon service. Not stylish on decor like others but you're there to get your top cropped right!?! So with that said most of these deserve a 3 or 2 but the manager Ashley makes this location leap to a 4, at least for men's hair. And that is my perspective I see more men's haircuts and kids at this place. They do what you want and the pre-cut consultation is usually short. Going here, I only see Ashley. I settled for someone else here only once before, and it just was OK. She makes you feel good! If a more hip chop shop opened in this area I do hope they snatch her up, but for now she is the reason I keep coming back. read more

This place is awful. The staff changes every six months and rather than tell you they are still inexperienced, they start hacking on your hair until you are left with a lopsided mess. I have been a long time customer of Supercuts in many states and have found some great stylists. But you won't find any at this location......please keep looking. Stopped by because I needed a haircut badly and we saw a man dancing outside with a sign. I had been to other Supercuts before, so my husband and I stopped by. It was 2:45 on a Saturday, and they were able to take both of us in immediately. I had my hair cut by Vivienne. I told her the general idea I had for my cut, noting that my curly hair DOES curl up about an inch once it dries (you'd be shocked at how many stylists seem to ignore this or don't understand how curly hair works and chop off TOO MUCH). She assured me that she was very experienced at cutting curly hair, and I let her have at it. My haircut turned out exactly the way I had hoped. It fell just where I wanted it to once it dried, and looks wonderful. The feel of this Supercuts is very laid-back and fun. The stylists all seem very happy and work well together. When all was said and done, I got probably about the same cut that I would have gotten at a high-dollar salon for a much better price. Absolutely no complaints! My husband was very pleased with his cut as well. Definitely one of the best locations I have experienced. read more

Be careful to make sure the stylist UNDERSTANDS what you want. Had a stylist cut my husbands hair horribly then tried to blame HIM for her not understanding what 2 & 1/2 inches on the top meant. It's one thing to not understand, it's something completely different to blame the person in the chair. Refused to pay and requested another experienced stylist (Kourtney- she's wonderful and made amends very well) to finish what could be saved of what was left of his hair. I really like this Supercuts! They are all very friendly (and actually had the store decorated up for Easter ..including treats!) and it appeared that they were happy being there. Which, as you are aware, you can usually feel the "I am not happy here" vibe pretty quickly. Not here!! WORST PLACE EVER! Customer service was lacking. Services were even worse. Went in for their holiday package special (hair cut, color, wax, style and a product) & was quoted $58. Got my color done and added highlights. Rhonda should NEVER, EVER be allowed near foils again. She had them on my head to where I looked ridiculous but the worst part was that the blonde highlights she did were not done correctly or evenly. One highlight made me look like I had a bald spot on the top of my head!! I was not happy but said "let's get it dried up and see where we're at. Ugh it looked worse! My sister was appalled as and had to go outside to maintain herself. Rhonda went on to cut and style my hair with curls. She never asked what side I parted my hair, hardly touched me for a cut and then proceeded to curl me with horizontal curls! I'm assuming she styled on the opposite side to my regular side to hide her extremely badly done highlights. This "stylist" needs some serious education updates. I've never had such bad service. She said she wouldn't charge me for the highlights because they "didn't come out they way she wanted them too!" Better not charge me my hair was ruined! She then wanted to charge me more than $70 when I had been quoted $58 for a cut, color, wax and product. I brought that up and Rhonda then charged me $63.33 without the wax or product the package came with. My hair was SO badly done in fact that I had to go to another salon (Green Ally salon which is FANTASTIC! SEE Sheila and tell them I sent you!) who applied a glaze to immediately but temporarily fix my hsir. They were evengoing to call this store to tell them they should be ashamed of themselves. I called the corporate office and turns out this store is franchised but they got the message to them. I was contacted within 48 hours during Christmas week. Long story short, I did end up getting my money refunded, however, that isn't enough. Everyone should know that this place is unprofessional and that Rhonda should never be allowed near anyone's head either with scissors but most definitely with color. Shethen acted surprised when I said I hated it. It was written all over my face from the get-go. I now have to wait until February to have it fixed properly and at a ticket price that is far more than I anticipated. But my hair is already looking washed out and pink which was not the plan. (Normally I wouldn't complain about that) but this time, PLEASE?!! SHAMEFUL. STAY AWAY. read more

I recommend this place to anyone but especially for anyone with kids who are fussy or don't enjoy getting their hair cut much which let's be honest is pretty much every kid, Sheila was able to immediately relate to my son kept him calm and engaged the entire time we were there me and my wife were prepared for the worst but to our delight we were actually able to sit down and watch the cut instead of actively parenting during the haircut process. Shelia has a kindred spirit and I wouldn't be surprised if all kids love her, this is the only place we will go to from now on. Thank you again Sheila for making this an enjoyable experience instead of a dreaded one :) after about 20 different places we found the place we can go to from now on and it just so happens that is the closest haircut place to my house as well so an added bonus, kudos to you Shelia , keep up the good work you deserve a raise! read more
