I have super curly but fine hair. It can be a nightmare to find a stylist who is comfortable and able to properly cut my hair. I have been trying to grow it out for the past 3 years. Today I was out running errands enjoying my Sunday. I was at a Starbucks nearby. When I saw Supercuts was nearby figured it was finally time for a trim. I usually go to a curl specialist when I get full haircuts due to my hair texture but I figured a trim would be fine without all of that. I checked online and saw there was no wait so I headed over. I was greeted pleasantly immediately by the receptionist and a hair stylist named Kirby (such a great name). She shampooed and conditioned quickly and was just the right amount of talkative. She let me know the products she was using in case I liked them, but never tried to sell me on them which I appreciated. I told her she can do whatever shaping she deemed appropriate but that I was trying to maintain as much length as I could. I also told her I was realistic that she may have to cut off quite a bit because it had been so long. She managed to cut far less than I expected and just cleaned up my existing overgrown shape. I mentioned I was jealous of the receptionists curls and she grabbed the product the receptionist used and put it in my hair to try. Again, she never tried to sell me on these products. I was in and out in less than 25 minutes. My shape and length is wonderful. My hair feels health again. I will absolutely be back. This was a far better experience than I've ever had at a chain hair salon or even many upscale salons. For $40 including tip, you can't beat that. Shout out to Kirby and the whole staff. My whole family loves this location. They are busy!!!! I see posts of people complaining they had to wait- yes! Because they stay so busy. I've been there with 5 stylist on and still had to wait 25 minutes for my kids cuts cause that's life. Don't want to wait- go to an expensive salon- not super cuts. Call ahead. Ask how busy they are. Ask how long the wait might be and put your name on the list. Everyone that works here is friendly and seems to enjoy their job! They are great with kids and my husband likes his cuts here too. Stop posting negative reviews trying to make this something it's not! It's a simple, easy place to get a hair cut but it's NOT a high end salon! read more

So I was asked to reach out to the manager who "oversees" this location, and while she spent a good deal of time BS'ing me about "changing policies", based on what I've heard from other parents, this is an ongoing trend. I made it very clear to the manager that I will not be taking my children or family back to this location, or any other SuperCuts, because of the inappropriate treatment of children, and what CAN happen when left unsupervised in the care of unscreened adults. I don't even want to imagine what can happen with adults in such close proximity to children when they force parents away. If you have children, NEVER take them to SuperCuts to get their haircut again, you could be risking serious damage. read more

This was my first time coming to Supercuts, Bedford and my experience was excellent. Granted they were not busy at that time (about 1 pm on a Monday) I was greeted as soon as I came in the door and was brought right over to the chair. I didn't want a shampoo just a cut, no blow dry and Heather did exactly what I asked for. Love my cut, and will go back again and hopefully my experience will be just as excellent. read more

I had a Great Experience on my last visit. No wait and my cut was perfect. I have short fine hair and many people struggle to get it perfect. She did a great job and I recommend going here. I think some people need to give a place a second chance before giving someone a one. No one is perfect and everyone has a bad day. read more

I checked in online for an appt with my preferred stylist. I got there a few minutes before my estimated time, and he was with a customer. I was told it would be 5-10 minutes which was fine. He finished up and then went on break for 20 minutes. When he came back he took another person from the waiting area. So I got up and told the person at the counter I couldn't wait any longer (same person who checked me in). I will never go there again (I'm sure they don't care). read more

Experience #1 - walked in, waited for 93 minutes and was told there were call aheads and online appointments that had to be honored. Got a good haircut though. Experience #2 - booked online with a wait time of 45mins, reached the place on time and waited for 50 mins and my turn was still not up. Was told there were people waiting and cancelled my appointment. Does not meet commitments. I have been a customer for a good period of time. Called ahead on a Saturday because I know it can be busy. Was told on the phone that they it would be 45 minutes. We arrived a few (5 minutes early)... 5 people in the waiting area. Less than average for this place. When we arrived I was told by the desk attendant that it would be another 45 minutes or more...as far as I could tell folks in the chair and if everyone waiting got a cut in front of us should be 15-20 minutes. Maybe I'm a jerk and have unreasonable expectation but someone tells me something and it looks to like it was intentionally misleading...I have a problem. incredibley slow! was able to get in and out at the dentist office faster. place is trying to be a spa instead of a quick haircut store. if your providing scalp massage along with shampoo etc... then you need more staff, one customer with buzz cut took 45 min of time for his cut, wash, massage and hot towel with only 2 barbers working. read more

While visiting from FL for longer than planned I needed to have my hair colored (unfortunately it was a Monday and REAL salons in the area aren't open). I had a copy of the formula my hairdresser in FL uses so what could possibly go wrong?! This super cuts visit was a nightmare from the get go. I phoned in to "check in" (at 10:07) and was told to come at 11:00 because they were so busy. I arrived at 10:55 and was "next up" but the manager gave the incoming stylist another customer. The stylist ended up taking me anyway... Fast forward, when I walked out two hours later with hair dye ringing my face and my hair five shades darker than when I went in I was horrified. Worse than that was when people wondered what was on my face and then commented on how bad the color was. I would never, ever, ever recommend this establishment to anyone. I went back three days later to get a copy of the formula the girl used on me thinking it may be helpful for my stylist in FL to repair the damage done, the manager (Sarah perhaps), truly could not have cared less, and started with an attitude. I frequent this salon as my friend is my stylist, she did a wonderful job as always but when it came to the store manager that was not the case. She was rushing my stylist to finish up so she could take more clients and acted as if I was unimportant because I am a friend of the stylist. I pay full price every time I come in and always get multiple services done. The manager repeatedly told my stylist in front of me and the rest of the store that she needed to hurry up and finish so she could take other clients. This made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. If it weren't for my friend/stylist I would not be returning to the salon and as it is I will be making sure the store manager is not there when I am. read more

I had my first ever Supercuts experience last week, and I have zero complaints! Nice place, super friendly staff, and an excellent hair cut. My hairdresser was a nice blonde girl named Meghan, and she gave me the best cut I have ever had. I have really really thick, unruly hair but she did such a good job I never want anyone but her to touch it ever again! Five stars! I will most definitely be a return customer! read more

Horrible experience. Usually go there and get a shampoo, cut and blow dry. I have medium wavy hair. I was told that I needed to know that if it took longer that 35 minutes the rate would go up (exponentially).....I told Eloy it did not matter how much because what I wanted was to leave the place with a quality cut and blow dry. Bottom line, I told him to just give me a shampoo and haircut, and gave him the difference of what I usually pay for the full service to him (double). I wished him well and told him they just lost 2 clients (my mom and myself). It is not his fault, just the owner trying to have the place be like a production line and htey only want to cater to MALE demographics where it is faster with a larger profit margin for the owner and stylists. read more

I'm very pleased with my first visit. Sarah was very nice and listened to my concerns. What really impressed me however was the staff in general. It was snowing pretty heavily and the staff was very eager to help each other with their closing and opening shifts. The owner called twice to check on staff concerned for their well being.
