They had the new girl give my 12yr old son a haircut and she kept asking for help, it made my son feel uncomfortable, which made me feel like maybe she shouldn't have been giving haircuts yet. My sons hair cut was a simple short cut, I'm not sure if we will go back. i went to get a haircut and asked for a simple crew cut but the lady didn't even know what a crew cut was! that cut is older than her grandpa but clearly she was at a loss when i asked her if she knew what a crew cut was. don't hire people that don't know the most simplest of haircuts! read more

This review is for Kristin. I came in ealry around 9:30 or 10 and she was there working on male client. I check in and when it was my turn, she did a wonderful job! I already had layers in my hair, but I wanted it to be more defined especially in the front of my hair. After my haircut, I went to work and everyone was complementing on my hair! I don't know what Kristin did, but THANK YOU! I tend to get most of my haircuts here, but I just get something basic, like 2 - 3 inches off and layered about 3 times a year and every time it's different because it's always a different hairstylest that cuts my hair. But I think I will call and ask if Kristin will be in from now on! read more

Walked in over an hour ago, was told they could squeeze me into their schedule. Said it would be 30 minutes or so, gave them my phone number to be texted or called when they were ready for me. Never got a text or call, showed up again and asked if they were ready yet. Was told they were ready for me earlier but since I missed my time I had to wait another 30 plus minutes. Again no one called or text me as they said they would. Unreal. Communication is lacking here, please don't waste people's time. Taking my business elsewhere. read more

I arrived here on 11-4 for a color consultation. We had an agreement that they would dye my hair. I had an appointment scheduled for 11-6. I arrived on 11-6 for my 12 pm Appointment. I arrived at 1150. I talked to the ladies at the front counter and said it would be about 10-15 minutes until they begin my process. They told me to wait outside so I did. At 1217pm I was approached by one of the workers and said they would not be able to complete my process due to my hair being "too short". Isnt this why I did a consultation on 11-4? They would have told me on 11-4 that my hair was too short. Instead I waited outside for 27 minutes for them to tell me they wouldn't be able to do it. Such a disappointment and waste of my time. read more

I went here because of a bad experience with local barber. I will never go back because of a worse experience. The first barber bruised my head.This Super cuts employee was obviously sick sneezing and sniffling not paying attention. She cut my ear with her clippers sees I'm bleeding and attempts to put some random tissue to stop the bleeding and tried going back to cutting my hair. I stopped her and insisted she get me a bandaid of which she couldn't find. Apparently they arnt trained or know what to do in this case. She finished my hair and charged me for the haircut! I normally like going to supercuts, but idk what happened this last time. The girl did not seem like a professional. I went in on Saturday afternoon around 4-4:30pm to get just a trim on my bangs. Just above my eyebrows if not right at my eyebrows. A thin girl with glasses cut my bangs. You know how on those viral diy bang videos they always twist the hair before cutting them? that's exactly what she did, barely even leveled them and just snip! cut my bangs. they are super crooked and super high. I was and still am extremely pissed. Like i could've just had my mom do them for free. she still didn't level them and actually tried to blame it on my hair for them looking ridiculous. read more

Usually when I get my hair cut at an inexpensive location, the haircuts end up just "Good enough", which I can't blame the stylists for as I'm not great at explaining exactly what I want in the proper terms. This time around, however, my stylist Ashley Gil was able to understand what I was asking for and give me exactly the cut I needed, while maintaining friendly conversation that wasn't overbearing nor forced feeling. I highly recommend Hannah. She really listens to what you want in your haircut. Very nice and has a great personality. I have been going to Hannah for the last year and each time I have been very happy with my haircut. I find it better to call ahead an hour before an appointment, as walk ins can get busy. I was a walk in on a Sunday at 2:00 ( returning customer) staff was very welcoming & polite. I was anxious about getting my hair cut, not because they've done a bad job in the pass ( they haven't ) but because I have anxiety about most things. And I felt comfortable there. I got a great hair cut. A warm towel treatment ( which I loved ) and I'm very happy with the results of my haircut. The women who cut my hair was very kind, and easy to talk to. Most of the stylists/cosmetologists here do a great job cutting hair. I've noticed if you come when it's busy they tend to rush the haircut and you might end up with not such a good cut. Plus for some reason you can't set a reservation at this Supercuts online....and if you call...they they want you to call exactly one hour before you want to reserve the appointment which isn't exactly convenient.... read more

I couldn't let it go I came in yesterday morning. I hate I have to do this. The girl was very rude to me it was my first time coming into a supercuts my barber just moved away. I had questions about the price and how to make an appointment. She rudely told me there are no appointments and check in on the computer screen. I had never used it before and when I asked for help she took a deep breath and told the guy in her chair sorry I have to go help him. The way she talked to me was bad. I sat down and saw that I wasn't going to like it while I waited. I just got up and left I didn't get her name. Maybe you can work on how to speak to people that are paying. I was going to get my haircut and I needed shampoo, conditioner, and gel. You lost that all because her attitude is bad. read more

Ask for Kara. You won't be disappointed. Not only did she color my hair but she gave me great tips on how to give my hair a stylish look without investing much time or effort. Every time I color my hair I spend more than 3 hrs and over $200 (understandably bc of the length of my hair). Not kidding only spent 2 hrs and about half the cost. My hair looks amazing and so healthy. I'm so happy with how great my hair looks and the awesome service Kara provided for me!! read more

I love going to super cuts in Claremont, but last month I was near the super cuts on central ave., Montclair, and all I needed was a trim of 1\3 of inch of my hair didn't need a style or blow dry or shampoo, I'm a senior citizen, so I went into this salon and ask for a trim, after she was done, it took her 5 minutes to cut my hair she charge $19.95 the worse place I ever been. read more

I went in for a haircut, I was not greeted. So I sat down to wait. There was only one customer getting a haircut so I waited, and waited. The girl looked at me and looked away but didn't acknowledge me. Finally after 20 minutes of being ignored and listening to her conversation with her customer I got up and left. All I can say is you get what you pay for. I'm on budget, just spend my funds on my daughter for homecoming. So I figure get myself a cut for a lot less. I show the girl a pic of what I want from a book in their salon. A short cut angled in front and very short in back. When she was done my hair looked sort of squared, not angled. She said when it tries it will be more angled. I came home tried and straightened it, and it's still square and bushy in back. Now will need to spend more money to fix my hair...this is my 2nd experience at supercuts and both times thecut was bad. Will not go back, budget or not. read more

I went to Supercuts on Dec 15th and was greeted as I walked in. My Stylist was Vianna, and she was simply Amazing ! She gave me a Style I never had, and I Loved it.
