I came in here with 2 lures today; 1- I need a new stylist, 2- location, I saw it from the street and decided to give it a try. They are in the Vons shopping center at Grand and Badillo. I only buy a wash and blow dry. I'm happy to share that, Super Cuts does that! They aren't just hair cutters. Upon entering the salon, I was greeted with a big "Good Morning!". That was a nice beginning! The waiting room is spacious and comfortable. They have a big screen as well as a wall of products for sale. There were a few people ahead of me, but my wait was still short (5 minutes?). Leslie then led me to her station, draped me and took me to the shampoo bowl. She had sulfate free shampoo available, which was good, gotta protect the color! The shampooing process from Leslie was real good; it felt great. She then blew out my hair and styled it. She did a fantastic job. The cost was $25 total, which is white affordable! I've found my new stylist! I recommend this place highly. read more

I have been a loyal and happy customer since July 2005 and this is the only hair salon I go to. The customer service is always first rate, friendly, and courteous. I always walk in with a few 20s but after I leave this place, I feel and look like a million buck$. My wife loves my new haircuts and she looks forward to each new cut. let me specify that this review is solely for today's experience with the stylist who took care of my toddler. The stylist cut his right ear badly enough that it wouldn't stop bleeding. I didn't make a fuss in a salon full of patrons because I'm sure this was an accident. The gist of the review is to say; 1: stylist who aren't familiar with how to do a cut shouldn't take it on. 2: if a mistake is made apologize for it. (She didn't). 3: don't charge for a service that left the customer unhappy. My son is already saying he doesn't want to go back for haircuts I paid I either 42 or 43 dollars for two hair cuts. One that I was very pleased with the other I honestly believe I shouldn't have been charged for. Will I return to this location? Yes, but I will never again trust that specific stylist with any of my children. I will add on a positive note that the manager has already called to say I can and speak with her if I need anything. read more

It's been 3 months but my hair styling still haven't been recovered from the devastating effects, since she cut the backside my wolf hair very short and now I still can't do styling wherever the hair salons I have come. I left my hair for a year, but I have no idea for a terrible hairdresser who thought I should had a under cut just like a short hair boy. The time is healing but please think twice to let her touch your hair even you already showed the video and pictures for how to cut. read more

$22 for a bad haircut and a 50minute wait. If you didn't call ahead, don't bother coming in. They will take anyone that has called in because "they have to." I asked for a low fade and half an inch off the top. Two stylist had to cut my hair because the first person messed up. Eventually it was shorter than what I had asked and they didn't even blend it in on the sides. If you're a guy don't come here, I don't think they know how to cut men's hair. I called in for an appointment ahead of time and even came in 15 minutes early and ended up getting seated nearly 20 minutes after my appointment time, only to have the worst haircut I have ever had. I got really bad customer service by Alyssa, I believe. I went in for a haircut and she asked me what I wanted and I showed her a photo and confirmed the length. I wanted curtain bangs and layers. She cut my hair straight, and cut my bangs so poorly. She wet my hair with no blow dry and left it in my face not being able to see, she then said I was done and I had to fix it my self and brush in the mirror. The Bangs were very uneven and I had to go home and try to fix my botched hair. She was also rude, I should not have paid. read more

I took my daughter here even though I had seen some not so great reviews, but they were more for men's cuts, and I was a little desperate. I am not regretting my stupid decision! My daughter got her haircut there on Saturday, Sunday and Monday while combing her hair it just doesn't seem like it was freshly cut. I'm very familiar with how the hair should look, she only got a trim. The tips should be nice and even, they're not, her hair looks the same as before it wS cut, no, even worse, it is now uneven!!!! I realize tonight when I finally gave it a good comb through and parted it in sections, the sides are long than the middle!!!!! I can't believe it. I would only go back to ask for a refund, but considering they would probably say no, we can fix it, it looks like I'm just screwed. I will need take her somewhere else. 6/26/18 Update: Most people don't necessarily look forward to getting a haircut, they are indifferent, however I always look forward to mine. Besides having one of the best stylist, Martha always finds a way to make me laugh and just makes the entire "chore" that much more enjoyable. She is great at what she does and just shows quality in her work! Martha is great. I always get my hair cut by her, and if she is not there I come back, because she is the best. She knows exactly what I want and it comes out perfect each time. She does everything from the haircut to the shampoo to the styling, just outstanding work! My husband went to get a trim yesterday for a work holiday dinner party and left very unhappy. First he explained the lady who helped him kept leaving in the middle of the cut to answer the phone and check people in. She left the station 3-4 times while cutting his hair. His cut was uneven and his fade was not well blended. He always goes to Supercuts and was pretty upset with the service this time. Going to try a different Supercuts next time. read more

The employees at this location are very nice and friendly, however I think the services can be way overpriced! I brought my daughter in for a trim and shampoo, and had them add curls. This would cost $45 at Ulta, but was $87 here. The receipt didn't give a breakdown, but she said it was $33 for the haircut, so that means it was $55 for the curls? Every other salon I've taken her to offers to curl her hair after a blow dry as a complimentary service. Had I known it was going to be that much to add the curls, I would have had her skip that part. I won't return to this location, when we can receive a similar service at multiple other salons for half the price. read more

Just came here for a haircut - was in a hurry, so I didn't go to my normal place. They let me call ahead and put my name in, so by the time I arrived (8 minutes later, at the most), I only waited about 3 minutes - I was the next person to have their hair done. My stylist, Brianna, was really nice, and new to this store, according to her. She made nice conversation, but was admittedly nervous because I asked for a lot of hair to be cut off. I normally get my hair cut short, and then wait a few months until it's too long to put up in the front, and then go back in - works for me. She did an ok job and I don't have any real complaints about her. However, while I was there two stylists were arguing - an older lady and a tall girl named Raquel. The older lady was telling Raquel, who was sitting back in the office, that she needed to come out and sweep, and that she had been in the office all day acting like she owned the place. When Raquel came out, she was in a horrible mood - not smiling, chewing gum, and just looking like she hated life. Really? This is the image you want portrayed for your company? Every time she looked at me she gave me a steely-eyed-daggers-in-your-soul look. And the whole chewing gum thing - call me old fashioned (I'm 38), but it is extremely tacky. Anyway, I probably won't ever be back here, and will stick with where I normally go. My hair stylist was nice and all, but Raquel really soured the mood of the place. read more

I've been here a couple times, and I can safely say that I will never return. I forget the name of my hairdresser, but she was terrible. She was nice enough, and made friendly small talk, but I paid for a haircut, not a chat session. Unfortunately I didn't have my contacts in and I had to take my glasses off, so I couldn't even see the damage that she'd done to my hair until after the carnage was over. After the haircut, she put product in my hair, but she did it weird so I couldn't really tell what my hair looked like. I wasn't super happy but it didn't seem too bad so I paid and left without complaining. I thought when I went home, washed it, and styled it myself, it would look better. As a matter of fact, it looked worse. My hair was uneven, the fade was off, and if you looked straight at me, my hair literally looked like two different styles on the left and right. I'd already paid and left, so I didn't feel like going back there, dealing with complaining, or even getting a refund. I was forced to wear a hat for about 2 weeks until my hair grew out a little more, and then a good friend fixed it for me. NEVER EVER come here. read more

This is by far the best Supercuts location in the SGV. The staff we very friendly and talented. Some locations have one or two good stylist but this location is loaded with talent. Brittney and Leslie cut my hair and I couldn't be happier with the result. I believe Brittney is the store manager and she is a great one. This location is spotless every time I arrive and always perfectly staffed. If you are tired of long wait times I suggest coming to this location. In trying to look professional for my 2nd job I went in just to get my hair curled, I figured that would be about 15 dollars tops, nope they wanted to charge me 40 dollars for thermal styling, not even fancy salons charge that.
