I will never be coming back to this location. I checked in on the app and still waited over an hour and a half! Then they put someone in front of me cause he was "complaining too much." I went in for a haircut and a hair treatment, which both were great. My other complaint is that it was a packed place and my stylist(won't say any names) talks loud as it is, but decided to tell me my dandruff is so bad and maybe I should get it checked cause she thought it was lice. I felt that was very unprofessional to say something so personal in front of others. Everyone looked at me like I was like infected dirty person. Horrible service. 1) No one knows to blend or fade 2) We wasted almost an hour here to be told by some noob, when askes to do an A-line bob, that she'd "try" on my daughter's hair. No, you will not practice on my kid's hair. Also, when suggested to wait for another experienced hair technician, she told us it'd be another 20-30mins. We waited, only to hear this "more experienced" person was getting off. Why suggest someone who's getting off? You always have to wait forever for a haircut at this place and they never have enough people working. It was also verbalized we never signed in (which we did, btw) by a worker who came in after us. Really? How do you assume we didn't sign in if you came in after we were already waiting? This is the most disorganized place despite how slow they always are when I come. I started coming back here in December 2007 when I moved back into the area. I used to get my hair cut at a "posh" salon in Del Mar but started coming here out of needing a hair cut one day and not knowing where to go. I Stumbled across this place and have been coming back ever since. While I don't get to sip a latte while I'm waiting I do save about $20-25 bucks a haircut. I like it and haven't got a bad haircut. I had been going there for a few years just for a haircut. I decided to give them a shot for a hair color, and it was a mistake. The stylist who cut my hair claimed to have over 10 years of experience; however, that didn't seem to show on the service I received. I wanted my bad -bronzy highlights- to be covered; my goal was to return to my natural hair color - brown. It seemed like a basic request. When she started coloring my hair, I noticed she didn't use any jelly/vaseline around the hairline or ears, and I had apparent color marks all over. This was only my second time getting a hair color ever so I thought that maybe their formula was easy to clean up, hence her not using any jelly/vaseline to remove it. Once the color was done and hair rinsed, she asked if I wanted to have my hair blow dried. I thought that was a given. Yes, of course I did. When I paid I nearly had a heart attack as the entire process set me back $167. I looked at the breakdown of it all and they charged $30-35 to BLOW dry hair. Isn't that a given with a haircut?? To top it off, I also noticed that it cost $40 to get some junk called "Helioplex" which the stylist recommended before she rinsed my hair. She never said how much it cost. She made it seem like it was part of the hair coloring process. Yes, I should've asked but if a customer is new to their business practices, how is he/she supposed to know that they charge for just about everything? A helpful "Would you like X service for another $Y dollars?" would be helpful. After I got over the price shock, when I got home I realized my hair was BLACK and had horrible hair color marks all around the hairline/ forehead and ears. It was not easy to take off. I would've gone back to have it corrected but feared what the "fixed" outcome would've been. I will not be returning there for ANY reason. For nearly $200 I could go to a celebrity stylist who is likely to get the job done right the first time sans the hair color on the face. read more

I went in this morning for a hair cut. Once & checked in. My name was called 1st even tho there was about 4 or 5 people in front of me. As soon as she saw it was me she knew there was a mistake so she asked the persons behind me what name she was to take. (No biggie) But people that came in after me began getting called because she took my off the list when she made the mistake. As always they were trying to sell me their overpriced merchandise. Like a dummy I agreed to by until I was told the $25 sticker price was wrong and it was actually $44!!!! (Ummm.... NO THANKS!!!!). Then on the way home I realized on side on my bangs was a good inch longer Han the other!!!!!!!! SERIOUSLY!!!!! I had my Grandma fix them because if she didn't know what she was doing why go back for her to make it worse. Tonight while getting ready to go out I realized she did not take all of My bangs and cut them. WTH????? A COMPLETE FIASCO!!!!!!!! I will go somewhere else tomorrow and haven't hair cut correctly!!!! Love the new manager Brittany! This Supercuts is fast and has great customer service. Very friendly and personable. Never been disappointed with any cut or hair treatment I received. I STRONGLY recommend the Malibu Makeover for women, especially who have waves or curls. Brittany is my favorite stylist, but also Martha and Gina are great. I feel I am getting top salon service and quality for half the cost. I only get my hair cut here now. read more

Called before going in to avoid waiting..they said to come in 20 minutes, they put me on the list. I show up in 20 minutes, not a minute later, it's been an hour..I doubt they'll even talk to me for another 30 minutes.. Very reliable - all the stylists! I really like Supercuts' Paul Mitchell color. This salon applies it well- if anything errs on the side of recommending less color than I might want but that's way better than the reverse! More service oriented than some Supercuts. The service at Super cuts is amazing. I mean yeah sometimes you get a bad stylist, but your hair will grow back folks lol. I recommend Gina or Hannah. I didn't have this app but i took the time to download yelp just to WARN you guys NOT to come here. The girls are really nice BUT have HORRIBLE haircut skills. I got there at 4.40 and was helped right away. I told the girl what kind of haircut i wanted and everything was going great. 5mins later she gives me the mirror and tells me she's done!! She left ALL the hair she cut on my neck, while she was "doing my fade" she was doing it very careless and sloppy, she didn't cut my sides at all, i told her to cut the top of my hair and refused because she said i would look "old and bald",i literally left the place looking like a monkey with hair all over my face. And worst of all she charged me 18dollars for a 5minute haircut. I'm not sure what her name is but she told me she was 35 & she's african american. What can I say paid 200 including tip got a hair cut and color. Asked for long layers and side swept bangs got length cut off was straight and boring. my friend goes to supercuts off arrow hwy and every time i tag along its always a great time!! since i live close to this one, i made the mistake of going to this location. so i made the apt for my mom , ( she ever had a haircut for over 15 yrs. she was so nervous, but needed it to be done for my brothers wedding. )so this was a big deal. super excited !! but as soon as i walk in , i say you turned off. wasn't greeted, ( btw i am super big on customer service. i work in sales) wasnt made eye contact, 2 employees seem like they were annoyed i was there. didn't feel welcome at all. so i was so upset , didn't want either touching my mom's hair. so i left!!! but their sister store off of arrow, saved super cuts reputation. specifically, jessica!! she not only made me feel welcomed, her customer service was above and beyond, she not only but and style my mom hair, (which my whole family loved and she loved ) i decided to get my hair colored, cut,deep conditioned ,style, eyebrows waxed , and taught me how to style my new hair do, advise me to purchase hair products . walked out supppppperrrr happy that i gave her a 50 dollar tip!! well deserved!!! so please don't go to this location, go to the one on arrow!! see jessica!! she will definately take care of you read more
