I really appreciated the warm welcome from LeeAnn at Supercuts. She immediately made me feel comfortable, took her time, and listened carefully to what I wanted. Throughout the haircut, she checked in with me to make sure everything was to my liking, which I truly appreciated. During my appointment, I shared the disappointing experience I had at Great Clips the previous week. LeeAnn was empathetic and made sure I left completely satisfied with my haircut. While Supercuts is a little more expensive than Great Clips, I'd much rather pay the extra cost to know my concerns are heard and my haircut is done right. I've been to many Great Clips locations in several cities over the years and have never had such a disappointing experience as I did at the Fernley location. I contacted Great Clips' customer service, and they told me I would hear back from the local salon. Unfortunately, it's been over a week, and I've yet to receive a response. It was the worst haircut ever / I ask for a v and it was really ready in a v and then she cut it in to a u and then I ask for face framing but it wasn't even I will never go back there again so I recommend don't go there. So 0 stars!!!!!!. read more

Not once have I ever experienced a bad haircut at my local Supercuts. Every time I've been or taken my sons, I'm always happy with the results, this time was no different. Emma was excellent with my son and did a fantastic job. I didn't get the name of the stylist that did my cut, but am very pleased with it. After I told her what cut I wanted, I realized a few times I wanted shorter and shorter length. The stylist was very patient with me in asking for just a little more to be taken off until I got the perfect haircut. Would recommend my local Supercuts to anyone I know. All the stylists were friendly, helpful and let my son talk their ears off after he was done. read more

So its been about over a month now and I hate my hair. I made an appointment for a hair cut online (Fernley Supercuts) which went well. My hair was over grown, very long and had some layers that grew out so I knew I need to get a decent amount cut off. I told Emma what I needed done and she takes my hair makes 4 or 5 pony tails with little bitty hair ties and cuts my hair. It was so short she couldn't do any layering or styling. Usually the hair stylist will add a dab of hair product and give a gentle blow dry even if I was only paying for a cut. Thats just good customer service in my book. Emma did not do any of that. I left the Fernley Supercuts not feeling very pretty about my hair. I didn't say anything because what could she have done to bring back some length after she cut it all off. I paid for my cut and even tipped her. Everyday since then I've had a hard time coping with how short my hair is. And waiting for it to grow it back to gain some length is has been heartbreaking. It is visibly noticeable that sections of my hair are uneven. Anywhere my hair use to cascade around my face is gone. So after a month of trying to give it some time to grow I still have a hard time accepting how she cut my hair. This is how much it's affecting me and for that I'm writing this review. read more

The girl who helped me with my curls was named angel and she was incredible, Firstly she was super nice and polite the whole time, secondly she gave me accurate good recommendations for my curls, Third she was efficient and gave me a perfect cut, and lastly she was respectful and patient when it took me a second to transfer my money to my account to pay, overall wonderful experience read more

A woman with purple hair (I wish I would've gotten her name) was SO kind to me and my son and young baby when my son got a haircut two days ago. Taking a 4 year old to get his haircut is always stressful and I find myself on edge the entire time that he may annoy the stylist HOWEVER this woman was a saint I swear I've never met someone with so much patience and pure genuine kindness. She let my son talk and talk and talk and actually listened to him while he was talking instead of tuning him out. She let him hold some of her (safe) equipment to keep him occupied and assured me that he wasn't bothering her with his wiggling and giggling. To top it all off his hair looks AMAZING. She has more patience than I do and we'll be going back to her for the foreseeable future! read more

I came in today due to a job interview. They fit me in, fixed my hair and made me feel fantastic. I can not recommend this place enough. They even had a young mother ahead of me and she allowed me to jump the line and even encouraged me on my job interview. Fernley is such a wonderful community and the businesses deserve our support. Made an appointment for my son and I for 2 and 2:30. When I came in she said that my son wasn't on the schedule and I was. I know for a fact that we were both confirmed for those times but all the sudden my sons appointment dissapeared. I let my son take my spot and then saw the lady take another person in for 2:30, my sons time. What a joke. We'll never be going back ever again. Ever. read more

I went in today bc I work at Raley's and a package was delivered for me.. But it was for super cuts. I met Veronica. She has lived in Fernley her whole life and she is so awesome. And nice. Terrible color, terrible haircut, terrible customer service, 4 1/2 hours of another more seasoned stylist overprocessing my hair trying to fix the horrible orange color that was supposed to be blonde and the horrible haircut that was supposed to be blunt that was an uneven fringed mess. Talked to management offering to."fix" it but refusing my $ back. It cost over $120 for the mess that will take a year to grow out and cut off horrible color, cut and damage to my hair. Scheduled an appointment at 3pm and no one was there. Waited over 40 mins but nobody showed up. I usually go to Great Clips, but decided to give Supercuts a chance and they definitely disappointed. That's just bad customer service!! read more
