My BF tuck my son to get a haircut while I was at work and since the barber shop we normally take him to was too busy he ended up taking him to this Supercuts and they did a horrible job. I noticed it once I got home from work so I called them and asked if i could take him back to get it fixed and somehow they still could not finish and also gave me attitude cause i complained that it was bad. The original lady that did his hair didn't like that. It was telling her what my problem was with her haircut so she handed off my son to another hairstylist who was a bit nicer and tried to help but also wasn't able to fix it. I ended up taking him to another barbershop and even the barber said that it looked horrible. Thank God I was able to get it fixed, but definitely not coming back. read more

Went here for a haircut today. While cutting my hair they managed to cut my throat with the clipper. It hurt but I didn't react to much. After I paid and left I started getting a burning feeling on my neck. Then when I looked in the mirror I saw a huge cut on my neck. I went back and showed them the cut. They denied it happened there. I wanted my money back and they gave it to me in cash and voided my credit card transaction. I repeatedly asked them if the disinfect and was shown a spray they use. It did not sound convincing. I have never been cut like this while getting a haircut. This place sucks at haircuts and the stylists and bogus. read more

I never get in peoples face in these situations, but I was so upset I went up to her and complained and had to tell her how to fix it! My 8 year old was so upset. Just getting around to write a review now because I just came back from vacation. Decided to come in for a quick trim, with slight layers, and my hair looks like a blunt mess lol. This is the first time I've ever had layers that's actually TWO BLUNT LAYERS OF HAIR THAT YOU CAN SEE. There was no blending of the layers, just two straight lines, one on top of the other. Came back here today because she had the day off and I have a promotion expiring (back to school 2nd cut 1/2 off) soon. I broke my routine and came in a few weeks early so I can use the promotion. Alejandra is the best! Perfect haircut every time! She's very personable, always making conversation. She's a great listener, remembers details from past conversations. The five stars are only for Alejandra. Unfortunately, I had a couple of bad experiences with another stylist who, surprisingly, was the manager. Each time, she seemed preoccupied, and had difficulty multitasking. She definitely was not listening to my request, as it resulted in a bad haircut, both times. So I've never had a issue before at a Super Cuts.... And that's how I started my story before my friend interrupted me and said that was a great opener. Yikes. Looks like a review is in hand: There was a 20 min wait but probably only because school starts tomorrow (Sept 11) and everyone is trying to get their kids cleaned up like sheared sheep. Regardless, the wait was ok...I wandered around and found a $1.25 taco place that I need to check out next Tues! But that's a different yelp for a different time. I got seated and asked for a trim on my A-line bob. The gal says she'll be right back and went to someone else to ask how to do it. Umm, I'd be less nervous if I couldn't read her lips IN THE FREAKING MIRROR! The 2 of them go away and a third lady comes and asks me to move to her station. "Phi Phi" ends up being AMAZING and puts in the time and effort to go over and beyond. I almost fell asleep in the chair; she was so meticulous! I got her card and name so next time I can request her. Guy-wise...everyone walked out a happy customer. No bloody ears or uneven clipper action. Us gals just have to look out for one another and I needed to yelp this for my women folk! :) read more

After my horrible experience at supercuts Tustin, I stopped here to see if I can get a better service. I explained that I recently had surgery and couldn't wash my own hair. She said shampoo is $5. The girl who serviced me was really nice and thoughtful. She took her time and carefully washed my hair twice, and then rinsed me off carefully. I was really happy with the way she treated my hair gently. So I decided to let her dry my hair. In the end, I paid $25 plus 20% tip for the happy service. Some people are just better than others. So when you find a good one, it's a keeper. read more
