I don't change my hair cutting places instructions - haven't for over 30-years! Makes it easy to roll out of bed and go. The place was slow and a little run down, and actually a bit warm. My son has autism and he doesn't speak in public or to strangers. I told the hairdresser that my son doesn't talk and explain how he wanted it. She asked him questions and when he didn't respond with words she made a sound of annoyance and even witnessed her makings hand gestures at the end when he didn't care to she the back. Now I look like an idiot and have to go to an expensive salon and have them fixed because she was somehow able to bribe someone into giving her a license to cut hair. I was there a little over an hour ago. I walked in and the lone hair cutter had one person in her chair. After I sat down she said, " I have a person coming in at 10:45. If he doesn't show up, I get to you. I said, "I have to wait 29 minutes to get a hair cut,!? She said yes. I left the store and went to a real barber shop. I had been a customer of Supercuts for 40 years, I am officially done with them. read more

I am so upset after my trip here. I came to get the dead ends off my hair. Bare minimum. The stylist didn't want to talk, Same with the other stylist with a customer, it was awkward. My stylist showed me 3/4" of hair and said is this good? I said yes. She needed up cutting over 2.5" off. My hair was dry to begin with so it didn't dry shorter. It's a super choppy cut too and looks absolutely terrible. I'm embarrassed to go to work today. My husband was surprised I got so much taken off since he knows how much I love my long hair. And he agreed it's choppy and not done well. I was in a hurry to get to work afterwords so I didn't get to really look until I got home. Also - I asked the stylist what heat protection she had since I curl and flat iron my hair. She suggested a product and I bought it. This morning I looked all over the bottle for anything that said protection from heat or something of the sorts and nothing. So I called the company of the product to make sure and sure enough, no heat protectant. Sooo unhappy. Called this morning to talk to them to figure something out, no answer and the answering machine is turned off. I do NOT recommend this place. read more

This place has really deteriorated in the last six months or so. Unprofessional staff that gossip about past customers while you get your hair cut, high turnover of staff, poorly trained and unskilled staff, etc. I kept giving them another chance but I am cutting the proverbial chord and I will look for another place. While getting a haircut today I got my ear nicked three times. In the same place! The lady put some type of disinfectant on the cut that dripped all the way down my neck. When I got home my skin was red all the way from the back of my ear to my neck, with a trail of large blisters forming. Hearing staff talk about other customer complaints right in front of me, I will not even bother contacting management. I have been getting haircuts there for the last few years, but this one was my last one! read more

Went in for a trim and walked out with my hair totally butchered. The Asian woman who cut my hair (Vicki) attempted to cut it without even asking which way I part it, shoved a mirror in my face without saying a word when she was finished with the cut, and did a fast and lazy job of the cut in general. I spoke and she never replied, it was awkward, uncomfortable, and downright disappointing. I walked out wanting to cry, and sadly my anxiety disorder kept me from trying to even make my feelings known, not that she would have understood or cared in the least. My hair is waaaaay shorter than what I requested and looks like a toddler went at it with Crayola scissors. It's shorter than my chin (went in with shoulder length hair and just wanted my layers trimmed and couple inches off the bottom), and I look like a fool now. Definitely wouldn't recommend and won't be back. read more

I have been here before and had great hair experiences with Sheena but this time she was "no longer here". So I showed the photos of my hair color that Sheena had done (I was told she had put it in the computer too during my last visit) and explained I wanted red with blonde highlights. I spent like 10 minutes explaining and showing pics of what I wanted and what I did not want....well, $235.00 and 4 1/2 hours later I have brownish blonde with minimal highlights! I just wish I could find hairdressers that LISTENED TO THEIR CLIENTS and give us what we ask for NOT what they want to do.....so I won't be returning. I am so disappointed and I really wanted my hair like is was suppose to be for my granddaughter's wedding. Oh well, life goes on. Lesson learned. read more

Came here to give Supercuts a five star review, but then I called to schedule an appointment and found out Sheena doesn't work here anymore :( :( :(. She was amazing, I have really curly hair and she has curly hair and is the first hair dresser I have EVER FOUND who could give me a GOOD haircut that still looked good when it grew out. She also gave me recommendations for shampoo and conditioner that were amazing. I trust her more than any hair dresser I've ever had. I'm so sad she's gone. read more

After waiting 45 minutes for a cut, I noticed that people that came in after me were getting their turns. I went to the counter and told them I had been skipped. The best I got "oh, well if you want to go do something and come back in thirty minutes you'll be at the top of the list". So instead I went to the Sports Clips in the same lot for a 20 minute wait. I came to this supercuts regularly, but service has always been hit or miss, but at this point I'm done. The best you can give me is "oh on another 30 minutes you'll be first"? Do not go here unless you want them to not listen to you. The first time I went with my daughter, the Asian lady chopped a good 6 inches off her hair when we asked for a trim. My daughter left in tears. She had been growing it out for 2 years and was really long. She was starting at a new school so she was not happy. However, it was a cute cut but not anywhere near what we asked for. I decided to give them another try today with another stylist (again asian) as I was just getting a trim, evening up my layers, and redoing my side bangs. Yeah, that's not what happened. I walked in with hair about 4 inches from my butt and walked out with a horrible cut. It is now maybe 3-4 inches below my shoulders, bangs that are way too short, and my layers start at my chin. It is awful! It's like what I told her didn't matter. We will NEVER go back there. read more

This place is a joke. Color prices are outrageous and change everytime depending on who does it. I understand that they are trained hairstylist but there should be some consistency in color pricing. I have been to super high end salons and paid less for a better job. It also took way less time to get my hair done at a high-end salon and it was a better more relaxing atmosphere. My stylist probably left me 9 or 10 times to answer the phone or check someone in or check someone out. It was awful. The turnover of stylist is ridiculous and I would imagine that is because they pay minimum wage to trained professionals. I know this because the stylist that I really liked left and said it was nearly impossible to make more than minimum wage there and all they cared about was their payroll expense. So at the expense of the customer's experience their bottom line is better. So that's where their loyalty is ....the bottom line. Not the staff not the customer but the money in their pocket. I remember going to this Salon years and years ago when they had only been open a few years and it was great. Everybody was friendly they literally only had a few staff members but they had a person who answered the phone and ring people up and did the customer service job while people were getting their haircut. I guess they did away with that position because now this stylist are always running around doing laundry cleaning stuff checking people in and out and to be honest they all look miserable. They need to reevaluate their choice of manager as well. He is literally the worst ever. Again I have been going to this location for a very long time at one point they had the same manager for at least seven or eight years and then she left and that is when things started going downhill in my opinion . I definitely will not be returning to this location as I don't see any way that they could dig themselves out of the hole that they have made. And in case anybody who is upper management reads this , a little side note would be to let the staff members know that it's not okay to talk about other staff members or other clients after they have left. It makes me wonder what they say about me. I just want a good job done because I'm paying a lot of money ....I don't think that should be an issue. It's also very annoying to have products shoved down my throat every single time I walk in. It's like being at a used car lot. If you asked me and I said no I don't need anything and you continue to tell me how bad my hair looks and how much I need the product you should remember that I get my haircut here so if my hair looks bad it's because you did something to it. Maybe it's dry because you left bleach on my hair for an hour and 15 minutes. So perhaps some training in customer service and color and a standard pricing sheet is in order. read more
