I remember returning once to a salon because there was a weird tuff of hair that was missed. But this looks like she straight up gave up midway through the haircut. Definitely the definition of a bad haircut. There's a literal line of where she had the buzzcut and just gave up. Not even tried to blend it in. It wasn't clear when I first looked at it from the mirror in the salon. But as soon as I got home and looked at the side. It was an absolute disaster. The didn't take their eyes off the computer The place is completely empty except for those two. She asks if I have an appointment. I said no. Scheduled an appointment ahead of time. I selected next available stylish for my son's haircut appt., not knowing the three names that were available (the app allows you to select a certain stylish that you like). Arrived 5 minutes, early checked in. After we had arrived 3 other customers came in. Overhead one of the Supercuts staff ask these 3 customers if they had appointments. 1 customer said they did not, but seemed to know the Supercut stylish. They selected 2 out of the 3 customers they arrived after us, including the walk-in. We waited for 20 additional minutes. Why have an appointment system if they are going to pick and choose who they want to service. When my son's name was finally called, we showed the stylish a picture of the simple cut he wanted (shorter on sides, longer on top). When she finished, the sides didn't even look cut. I showed her the picture again, and she seemed surprised that it was going to be cut shorter (picture clearly showed a buzz cutt side & back, longer hair on top). Overall, poor customer service. Making us wait while they took in other people that arrived after us - and customers they knew (even a walk-in) is a poor business practice. Not cutting my son's hair when we informed her how he wanted it cut, plus, showed her a picture (and it is quite a simple cut, the style is common with other boys). I went in with covid hair and it only cut my own hair for the past 2 and 1/2 years. I was surprised that the prices had increased by over $10 for seniors. Nevertheless I decided it was time to get a real haircut. I was serviced by Connie. She was conscientious and she cared about how I wanted my haircut. She did a great job and earned a $5 tip. Let me start by saying that I had been here years ago and was not impressed so I didn't come back. Years have passed and so I decided to come try again. I "checked in" online and showed up on time. Came in and there was no one getting a haircut or anyone waiting. After 4 minutes Connie came out from the back, no "I'm sorry" or anything, and told me it would be a few minutes and walked in the back again. She came back out and said she as not very friendly, almost like she was annoyed that I was there at all. She then went to trimming and basically did a bowl cut. Didn't make sure it was even or thin it out or anything. She took the cape off me and said "all done" very dismissive. So, I don't normally like to leave reviews but I think this definitely warrants it. I came in for a basic trim last week, and finally got around to straightening my hair and I'm pretty dissatisfied with my cut. All I got done was a trim and some layers in the front to frame my face a bit better. While the trim itself is fine, the layers are not at all. My hairdresser parted my hair further over than I usually have it; okay, totally fine if it evens out the cut. But the layers on my left side have about a half inch of straight cut, then completely uneven flowing down into the rest of my hair. Normally I'm used to hair stylists cutting downward at an angle from the shortest point, but she cut upwards? Which I think resulted in the unevenness. Plus, I have curly hair, and it wasn't fully wet in some sections like it should have been. Overall, the place follows covid protocols very well and keeps everything super clean, but that's not acceptable for such a basic cut. If you're coming in for anything more than a trim, I would go elsewhere and spend a little bit more for better quality. read more

I took my elderly Mom in to this haircut shop, the last week of January for a haircut. I wanted a shampoo which was an additional $9, no problem. I also asked Maria to blow dry it, since I didn't want my Mom to leave the shop with wet hair. It wasn't until I got home, that I realized she charged me $30 for the blow dry. I am leaving the poor rating, because I believe that Maria should have told my Mom that the blow dry, which took all of 5 min, actually cost more than the haircut itself. The entire hair experience cost my Mom, who lives on social security, $65 plus a tip. Basically the price of a much more upscale salon experience. This is a warning to others. I simply came in for a wash , she rushed my wash, i had to ask for conditioner after the shampoo, then she literarily ripped through my hair with a comb. I asked if she can put product in my hair ( other locations always do ) heat protectant or any spray she flat out said NO!! Just rude, unwelcoming & not satisfied with this location at all & to top it off I get in my car & my hair is flakey & still dirty. She rubbed shampoo she didn't even scrub the scalp. Terrible customer service and lilah is suppose to be the supervisor. They double book their "reservations" so you have to wait and they don't tell you how many people are ahead of you. Let me take your money and not cut your hair. Everyone is busy and has stuff to do. Why make a reservation and book them by 3 people for the same time slot for the 1 barber. Common now. Love the staff and get great service. Lilah has been doing our families hair for quite some time. If I can get her to cut my hair then that's my preference. If not then I know I will still get the quality I want from any of the other staff on location. Another plus to this location is should you choose to they offer a subscription. You can get your cut as often as you want for one low monthly fee. I usually get my hair washed just before the cut so all I have to pay for is the wash. I highly recommend this location. This is a pretty good place for a quick haircut. I've been going here for about 10 years since moving to the area, and I can walk there. The wait usually isn't very long, especially since you can now check in from their app. Lately, I've been going to Dina, and she's great. So are Maria, Sang and two other ladies whose names I dont know. Today, tho, I had to go early and couldn't wait for Dina to come in, so I took the first available. I don't remember having seen this person before, but I couldn't get out of there fast enough. I left feeling so embarrassed that I didn't even take time to really look at the good job she did with my haircut. Her hair is short, thick, and wavy. It was getting dry and wasn't growing so I knew it was time for a trim. Anthony cut her hair perfectly. She even said she like the way he shampooed her hair. He asked how much I wanted cut off and didn't cut more than what was indicated. I asked for her hair to be thinned out, and he even asked before thinning it out a bit more. In fact, one time, Mary had to fix it. Anyways -- Mary is personable, reliable, and knows her hair. I went to get a trim for my wedding yesterday. Mary was super helpful on the type of cut I should get in order to achieve the style for my big day (I showed and explained this to her). She cut off the right amount and removed some hair weight (total relief). Sure, she's busy -- but definitely worth the wait. So there's another woman here apparently named Ana. And she's got no customer and is just drying and styling her own hair as the customers gather in the waiting area. She even comes out to the products area to look for stuff to put in her hair. We're like... Hmmm ok... in the waiting area. I guess she could be on a break--giving her the benefit of the doubt-- but maybe you ought to be dolling yourself up in the back because you've got paying customers waiting. Sorry but I had to ding them on the rating because of this extra long wait while another was available. If I was to rate Sang, she's a 5! Mary and Ana are great!! I used to go to the supercuts in Manhattan Beach with Claudia (she is awesome) but I recently moved to Bixby. I have a simple haircut and all i needed was a trim but Ive had bad trims so i was hesitant on going to a new person. I did my research and heard Mary was great so I took a chance with her last night and my hair came out even better! She added a little more definition in the front which was exactly what i was looking for. Now, my fiancee needed a trim as well and he just went with the first available stylist which happened to be Ana and thank you! She cut a good amount of his hair and it came out great!
